Canadian whisky is one of the 4 types of whisk(e)y in the world and unlike Irish, Scotch or Bourbon relies on a blend of 3 grains (barley, corn and rye....although we often just call the product Rye) for a unique taste profile (Gibson's 12YO, Forty Creek and Wiser's offer some solid examples of this style). A basic cocktail involves Rye and Ginger Ale....although the better ones are best served on ice with a touch of water. Sortilege is a whisky-based maple liqueur that is so well made that you can literally pour it on pancakes and start the festivities early in the day. Have a good day, and sorry you had to be subjected to some lesser drinks. :)

This has to be one of the best r Comments I've seen on this video. Like most I am disappointed with the choice of drinks. This video was the first time I've heard of a red eye. :S. I also 100% agree with your choice of Whiskey and would like to give a shout to Canadian Club! As for the beers, I know here in Newfoundland we have Quidi Vidi brewery which makes (in my opinion) better beers than Canadian. The Iceberg beer being my favorite! :) I think they should do another video with some better research into the alcohol they sample!
These weren’t Canada’s favourite drinks. Where’s the whiskey? I wish they would try the Sortilège maple whiskey from Québec. A personal favourite of mine. Awesome on ice or out of the freezer or fridge. Maple goodness!! 🇨🇦🍁❤️
I am Canadian .... loved the video .... but 1) We have many many beers that are better than the 2 you tried. 2) Beer and Clamato? That is just wrong. 3) Those Caesars looked like they had about a litre of Worcestershire sauce poured into them. Made correctly, Caesars are very good. 4) Guinness is the best 👍
Dude LOL Northern Harvest is terrible, besides 83 is IDENTICAL to crown anyway (try a taste test without mix). Gibbsons by far is a better quality whiskey
Mmm... two of my favourite drinks. A nice tall Caesar and beer and Clamato. Just make sure you use extra spicy Caesars juice or add 3 dashes of Worcester Sauce and tobacco sauce when making a Caesar. For a treat instead of celery try a pickled bean or asparagus. Love your vids.
Even though I hate both beer and clam as well as beerandclam, the faces being pulled hurt my feelings a little. Also, Canadians (or at least everyone I’ve ever known) just call it a Caesar, never a Bloody Caesar.
Stacey aka pinkysworn right! Never called it a Bloody Caesar before only ever Caesar ...sadly I’m allergic to tomatoes so I never drink them, but they are my nana’s favourite. She has like six bottles of Clamato juice in her house
you mean indians call it Caesar, that is the new name for canada cause by my shock and amazement thats all the people that are there...... they call it ceaser!!!
My dad is Canadian. His drinks of choice are Molson Canadian beer, Canadian Club and Canada Dry ginger ale (whiskey ginger), and Bloody Ceasers with the clamato. (smirnoff vodka for that one).
Are there no icecubes in those Caesars?? Are you nuts? Must be served chilled, with Motts, and plenty of wooster sauce. I'd hate a room temperature caesar too.
Me too, love Caesars, even drink Clamato straight out the bottle. I also think they probably mixed it wrong, not something easy to mix for a first timer, right? I also know that not everybody loves Clamato, especially those who didn't grow up with that stuff. I love caesars, my wife hates em... hehe
As a born and raised Canadian, just let me say that I can't stand Bloody Caesar's either, and have never even tried, or heard of, Red Eye drinks before this video!
The Caesar is definitely an acquired taste. You need to add ice because a warm Caesar would be difficult to handle. Lots of good choices of alcohol here in Canada. Good job
Considering I only started drinking this year I’m nearly quitting already with all this crazy alcohol. Why does there need to be a fish and vegetable flavoured drink in the world.
Forget fish flavour - look up islinglass, a lot of beers and wine are filtered with ingredients derived from fish (though many - like Guinness are changing to other options).
If you look up some recipes for vintage north American cocktails, raw egg was sometimes an ingredient and raw oysters as a garnish. I can mix a really tasty Caesar but I think they are gross. Molson Canadian is the beer you drink in high school and Moosehead is a bit better. You probably can't get any really good Canadian beers in Ireland which is a shame. Paul, if this is the only alcohol you will ever drink, you should stop immediately. Life is too short for shitty alcohol.
Bloody Ceasers is a good drink. From the reactions, I don't think their did it correctly. We have much better beers than what they tried. The person who picked these beers and drinks did not put much effort into researching the real best canadian alcohol. 2 drinks out of 4 containing Clamato .. please .. none sense !!
Seriously, I thought the same. They probably got the ratios all wrong or just a shit “bartender” cos a Bloody ceasar is bloody amazing! Their reaction was too much like come on.. they’re not real beer drinkers if they all act so horribly to alcoholic drinks?? Bunch of wusss loll
I don't understand these episodes where people taste other nationalities beers and they all just sample the country's big macro brews. Which are usually all simple lagers. A lot of big lager brews around the world taste similar. Maybe they should just showcase the best beers the country has to offer instead of the most well known.
Caesars are very popular here in Canada, but you have to make it right. Dip glass in lime juice then celery salt. Ice Cubes. 2 shots vodka. Motts Clamato juice to near top of glass. 1 dash hot sauce. 3 dash Worcestershire sauce. Fresh celery in the drink. You can drop a few green olives in the drink. Slice green pepper goes on the celery.
Bartender in a hotel in Canada here. I always recommend Caesars to customers from overseas (never called a "bloody Caesar"). This is usually the reaction because people aren't expecting the flavour. However, if I prepare them for it (essentially a fishy, salty blast of savoury goodness), they enjoy it a lot. I promise! But yeah, Caesars are the salmiakki of the Nordic countries, or the vegemite of the Aussies. Yet in Canada, it is the number 1 cocktail. Coast to coast.
I actually like salmiakki and vegemite, but I think a "Caesar" would likely make me puke. Clam juice does not belong in anything intended for human consumption.
And rightly so. A Caesar is a delicious aperitif!!! I love them (spicy) and everyone else I know loves them as a before dinner drink. they're not for getting a buzz, they're a delicious way to stimulate the appetite. And Red Lobster, here in Windsor, Ontario, makes the best damn Caesar that I've ever had...my god it's good!!!
We have like a million types of maple syrup whiskey and you couldn’t of given them that? Or Canadian club, or crown royal, or 40 creek........come on Ireland.
They rarely represent the country they're TRYing at its best. You should see the crap food they mostly use for the USA TRY. I don't think its an intentional insult though but a budget thing. Most of their stuff looks like dollar store foods or stuff mailed to them free from viewers.
@@teenystudioflicks1635 Honestly I think they usually just go for whatever they think is going to get a big reaction from the staff. It would be nice to see a follow-up video with some more variety. It doesn't have to be as big as "50 whiskeys from 50 states" but at least something that isn't shady clamato juice.
As a Canadian, these are the worst two beers we have. I haven't drank that piss since high school! La Fin Du Monde, Fat Tug, Trois Pistoles, Singularity and Red Racer are a few of my favourites. I don't believe they're sold internationally though. Where's the Rye & Gingers? Canadian whiskey is among the best quality whiskey in the world. Not a single drink? Those Caesars didn't look like they even had a rim, ice cubes, Worcestershire sauce OR a pickle. 4 key flavour elements of a good Caesar! This video is kinda upsetting. If you want to judge Canadian alcoholic beverages then come here and get dicked up with us. This video makes us look like amateurs
This is my favorite TRY Channel video so far. Can you keep these pairings going because this is YT Gold. MC: "I feel really sad." Donal: "I feel really sick..."
Those were not very good drinks to represent our country. Molson Canadian and Moosehead are okay but hardly our best or most distinctive beers. And anything with Clamato in it... well, I'm pretty sure the Geneva convention was violated when serving it to these poor folks.
+Phlebas haha, I was thinking this as well... I only know like 1 person out of a hundred that come to mind, that likes clamato anything! we should just do away with it altogether
Upon watching it for the 2nd time, also cracking up at Shannon's reaction at 4:28, "Is it good?!" LMAO! Éadaoin wouldn't have had that reaction if it was good!
I'm a Blackhawks fan. Went to watch a game against the Leafs in Toronto (back when the Hawks were good). Long story short, my buddy and I ended up getting our asses kicked by a couple of Leafs fans. The bar we were in wouldn't let us back in after the fight so the two guys that had just kicked our ass offered to pay for our taxi to the next bar and then paid for our first round. So yeah, I have to agree with you
@@BillyMinnow you should watch a Canucks playoff game against the Nucks when where both good again. Every Canucks fan despises the Hawks after all the shitkickings you gave us in the playoffs over the years. Funny thing is we all secretly cheer for the hawks the rest of the time.
There's a Canadian brewery called Unibroue that makes a couple delicious beers, Maudite and Trois Pistoles. Bonus: the bottles have the most 80's hair metal labels on them to amuse you as you get drunker and drunker.
Some of my favourite beers come from Unibroue. Maudite is so delicious. I don't remember the name but the Apple one is also quite good if not a little light
I am Canadian and I think that they didn't get a good selection of drinks. They could have shown them Labatt or Alexander Keiths Beer or used better craft beers. There is so much more than just Molson and Moosehead. Stack Brewery in Sudbury is one that I like a lot. Steam Whistle Brewing is another. They could have given them some of our wines, Icewine, Newfoundland Screech,, REV,, Canadian Club Whiskey, Maple liqueur , Then for Cocktails there is the Caribou, This drink is often served at the Quebec Winter Carnival, and consists of mulled wine, whisky or rum, and maple syrup. There is also another cocktail I found online called Moose milk. This cocktail is like a milkshake. It's usually made with blended rum, kahlua and ice cream. Some people add Irish liqueur, butterscotch schnapps or strawberries. I am quite sure that I am missing some but if they google Canadian Coctails they could find more. Last thing I wanna say is Clamato is disgusting mind you a lot of people like it. It may be that it wasnt made right but I dont really know.
Very few Canadian breweries distro abroad. In Connecticut I can get two decent Canadian breweries with any regularity (unibroue and Collective Arts). States with better distribution might have one or two (Dieu De Ciel for example) more available to them.
Ceasars are the best hangover remedy ever. And btw we do love Ceasars! It's not the kind of drink you pound all night , but a few of them are excellent. I had one with pickled asparagus in it instead of celery once. They are supposed to be medium to small sized. I had one at an Irish pub in Canada and they have it to me in a pint glass! LOL. Ceasars are popular here. It's no joke!!!, ❤️ U can buy it in bottles or cans like beer here. It's amazing!!
To be fair, Canadian is kind of a prerequisite for a video like this, plus Moosehead is the only large private canadian-owned Canadian brewery left. Should have had way more things included in general, though.
Should have tried Newfie Screech, Canadian club and crown royal is also good you can get crown royal in maple flavor too, you can also mix your own maple whiskey.. Black horse beer is good but its only sold in Newfoundland and Labrador though..
I'm a mainlander and I've never understood why Screech holds such a poor reputation outside of Newfoundland. It's a nice rum. The spirit itself is sourced from J. Wray & Nephew, the same highly regarded distillery in Jamaica that produces the Appleton Estates line of rums. It's just aged, blended, and bottled in Newfoundland. I think it's fantastic stuff, especially at its price point. It's a hell of a lot better than Bacardi or Captain Morgans.
Outraged Canadians demand a remake of this video with actual alcohol we enjoy and are proud of .. 🇨🇦 ❤ .. also sorry .. hope I don't offend .. like for reals ..
They probably could not find enough in Ireland or internationally. Its actually difficult to find a lot of Canadian alcohol in other countries. I've lived in and travelled to many countries, and I only ever see Moosehead as a beer, maybe Canadian from time to time. In terms of liquers, you'd most likely only find Crown Royal and perhaps Canadian Club. You can find Yukon Jack in the US and maybe in some other countries if you look hard enough.
Awww, no screetch? I wanted to see them asking to have more Clamato. Also, I prefer tequila in my ceasars instead of vodka, but that's not typical. Ceasars are quite popular here though, moreso than bloody marys.
Oh man I totally forgot about screech, I complained about the fact they didn’t offer Canadian Club or Crown Royal....would have loved to seen their reactions to Canadian Whiskey
I went to a Boston Pizza and the waitress didn't add the celery, hate place had no Caesar Celery! I wanted to smack Jim Triliving for allowing such a travesty!
Yes, the "redeye" is the beer and tomato/clamoto drink to "cure" a hangover. I'm not sure if it actually works b/c I can't stand it. Now a good Caesar is awesome!!
Honestly thought ‘Red beer’ was from Texas! Learned something new. I LOVE a Caesar! Great for hangovers. I prefer mine a bit more spiced, at least some cracked black pepper(perhaps a bit of garlic salt) & a hot sauce with some more gusto like Culley’s Fire Water if you like the Tabasco flavor.
Sorry they talked you into believing that we like cold soup for cocktails, it's just not true. Lager and Whiskey. Sleeman's Honey Brown Ale and Canadian Club Rye Whiskey- get them to let you taste-test THOSE :-)
There reactions in the Clamato section is priceless! Clamato is definitely a acquired taste. As a Canadian, its fascinating seeing people react to our brands.
I'm starting to sense a theme with pairings on TRY. MC and Donal have always been great, and Paul drinking with Diane is awesome, but Shannon and Éadaoin have awesome chemistry.
LOL! Ya, ask anyone from Canada that is an avid beer drinker, Molson Canadian is what you drink after you already drunk and want to keep drinking for cheap! Hahahahaha!
I feel for the Irish folk in the video. They gave you some of the shittest alcohol Canada has to offer. Where was the Crown Royal? The Taiga? Iceberg Vodka? We have better beer than the US, but it's not as good as Bavarian ale.
I remember the days when Paul was pure and innocent and never had a drop of alcohol and then the producers corrupted him and he never looked back...look at him now everyone, doing every alcohol video he can... LOOK WHAT YOU DID SEAN!!! 😂😂😂
Try some Crown Royal “Northern Harvest”. I do agree though, where’s the Canadian club? If you are going for something with “Canada” in the name. We have so many better beers as well.
We don't put maple syrup on everything. Ceasers are one of my favourite drinks but it has to be made right and if all you did was add clamato juice salt and a celery stick to vodka then you didn't have a real caesar because you have to add Worcestershire and tabasco sauce to complete it and without those 2 sauces it's kinda blah and I'd have to be pretty drunk to forgo the 2 sauces.
As a Canadian, I find it sad that the grand total of Canadian alcohol you presented are 2 beers and two Clamato drinks. Where's the Canadian Club? Where's the Maple Liqueur? Where's the Crown Royal? Where's the Yukon Jack? Where's the Icewines?!

Comments I've seen on this video. :) I think they should do another video with some better research into the alcohol they sample!
beer and clam is super popular in sask
WROOOONG Canadians only drink Motts Clamato......no wonder they hated it
No wonder - BECAUSE IT HAD FUCKING CLAMATO IN IT. Drinking fancy piss is not better than drinking piss.
Yeah they screwed up. Those things are delicious. Never seen nor want to try the red eye tho waste of beer.
It's not that bad eh, after a couple of Canadians
True story!! I've had this clam before, and it's so gross.
I take it you've never tried Walter's Caesar mix! Please try it - its so good. Thanks.
These weren’t Canada’s favourite drinks. Where’s the whiskey? I wish they would try the Sortilège maple whiskey from Québec. A personal favourite of mine. Awesome on ice or out of the freezer or fridge. Maple goodness!! 🇨🇦🍁❤️
Got a bottle in the freezer right now.
I am Canadian .... loved the video .... but
1) We have many many beers that are better than the 2 you tried.
2) Beer and Clamato? That is just wrong.
3) Those Caesars looked like they had about a litre of Worcestershire sauce poured into them. Made correctly, Caesars are very good.
4) Guinness is the best 👍
True, but Guinness is irish beet so thats why they probably didn't 'try' that one.
1024 0119 I know. Just stating that why worry about Canadian beer when you have the best anyways. LOL
Guinness sucks.
Beer and Clamato = delicious
Pilsner > anything else
Dónal and Mary-Claire...and alcohol...PERFECT!!!
I adore MC! 🍀💕
No Crown royal maple, northern harvest rye or Alpine you fail at trying Canadian booze ! Not Sorry EH!
I was just going to say they didn't even have a rye whisky.
Alpine? As if Moosehead wasn't bad enough, yeah let's bring in the Canadian equivalent of Lucky!
Dude LOL Northern Harvest is terrible, besides 83 is IDENTICAL to crown anyway (try a taste test without mix).
Gibbsons by far is a better quality whiskey
A Canadian Mimosa even
And where the hell's the Screech lol
Mmm... two of my favourite drinks. A nice tall Caesar and beer and Clamato.
Just make sure you use extra spicy Caesars juice or add 3 dashes of Worcester Sauce and tobacco sauce when making a Caesar. For a treat instead of celery try a pickled bean or asparagus.
Love your vids.
Horseradish instead of tobasco
Fuckin love a good ceaser. It's an acquired taste I guess.
People just don't understand that yes we drink them and we love them.
Where is the screech, lightning, 40 creek???? so many canadian made beers and liquors for them to TRY
She has like six bottles of Clamato juice in her house
we call it bloody caesar in quebec :)
makes sense🤪
you mean indians call it Caesar, that is the new name for canada cause by my shock and amazement thats all the people that are there...... they call it ceaser!!!
Stacey aka pinkysworn you're a bit over sensitive; NOBODY likes a Caesar rhe first time they try it.
Me: Oh cool! Canadian drinks!
Them: Molson Canadian
Me: that's just mean!
Right?!?
Atleast they had some moose green
I love my Clamato juice. I drink it straight from the bottle. Sometimes with vodka.
Re the Clamato "Is it fruity?" Insert my sinister laugh here.....
I did the exact same thing!!!!
In French, seafood is called fruits de mer...
Clamato is salty and delicious. Most people hate it only once they're told it has clam juice in it.
If I wanted fish in my drink, I’d drown.
that just fucked me up, had to pause the vid for like 3 mins :D :D
ROFLMAO
I love the way they put things!
du poisson dans ma boisson
fish in my beverage.
Aw, no Canadian rye whisky? (They omit the "e" like Scotland does)
Alex Connor and screetch. I really want to see them try screetch.
Some of the 14% Quebec beers would be fun too.
me too, never knew why I always write "whiskey" and not "whisky"
Bobbius Shadow USA and Ireland = whiskey; Scotland and Canada = whisky
Alex Connor ah, so I can just say that I love whiskey and hate whisky!
that's weird, I'm Canadian....... tho half my family is American, probably that's why
My dad is Canadian. His drinks of choice are Molson Canadian beer, Canadian Club and Canada Dry ginger ale (whiskey ginger), and Bloody Ceasers with the clamato. (smirnoff vodka for that one).
*Sees an alcohol video with Shannon in the thumbnail*
*clicks immediately*
Are there no icecubes in those Caesars?? Are you nuts? Must be served chilled, with Motts, and plenty of wooster sauce. I'd hate a room temperature caesar too.
Kevorkian love Worcester sauce, it’s *Worcester* sauce ffs!
Kevorkian love id hate finding tomato and clam in my drink
Wooster sauce. Fuck
*Worcestershire, guys.
And extra spicey
I'm Canadian. I love Caesars. They may have made them wrong. Unno. "Try" coming to Canada for a real taste.
Me too, love Caesars, even drink Clamato straight out the bottle. I also think they probably mixed it wrong, not something easy to mix for a first timer, right? I also know that not everybody loves Clamato, especially those who didn't grow up with that stuff. I love caesars, my wife hates em... hehe
I know right!?!
I didn’t like Caesar’s till I had one hungover...
*every* Ceasar is mixed wrong.... See.. the problem is mixing clam juice into the tomato juice. It's our liquid version of Bieber.
Best hangover drink I've ever had.
As a born and raised Canadian, just let me say that I can't stand Bloody Caesar's either, and have never even tried, or heard of, Red Eye drinks before this video!
It’s a Calgary thing for weird people who like clams and tomatoes
I have, and I think both should be banned from public consumption!
@@TheNinthGeneration1 Why not just ask for a clamato instead? Feel like it's watering down a beer. :/
Pandor25 that’s what a Caesar is, it’s basically a modified Bloody Mary made after a chef burnt a ton of clams
That "Red Eye" is actually a "Clam Eye". A proper Red Eye is just tomato juice and beer.
You only started drinking this year!? ...it's such a waste that you can turn water into wine.
Trev Moran haha yea that’s a handy trick until you realise you hate red wine 😂
Forget fish flavour - look up islinglass, a lot of beers and wine are filtered with ingredients derived from fish (though many - like Guinness are changing to other options).
The second I saw you guys were going to be drinking Clamato juice I thought, "Nope, they're not going to like it."
Shannon!"is it good?" Lmao!!!
Definitely my favorite moment... I choked on my tea haha
Ahh, I missed Shannon!
I laughed out loud for real!!😂😂😂
I love how MC ate the celery right after drinking the cocktail.
Well that and they didn't use Mott's Clamato. I hate those dollar store brands too.
So true!
Omg I totally agree.... they've picked all the shite drinks lol
I can still taste that sweet sweet Canadian celery....
OH WAIT SHE ATE IT ALL!
Awww 😕💗
Donal....come to Canada and we will make you some real Canadian drinks. : )
"If I wanted fish in my drink I would drown"
I drowned after hearing that😂😂😂
Caesars are very popular here in Canada, but you have to make it right.
Every Canadian I know absolutely LOVES Caesars
If you told me it was a "fishy, salty blast of savoury goodness" I'd tell you to fuck right off! That's foul!
You can't tell that there's clam juice in it. I promise.
I did not know Forty Creek is Canadian. Very nice.
I know its like they picked that crappiest drinks out of the whole selection.
Colin hart.. i couldnt agree more
They rarely represent the country they're TRYing at its best.
I've never laughed so hard at one of their videos. I actually cried at "for the channel!"
Now I want a Caesar! 😋 they are so good when made right.
Also you need to try the maple Liquor called Cabot Trail. That stuff is amazing!
I am Canadian and not into sweets but love Cabot Trail
Ill give this video an eh+
Get out, lmfao
Row Boat Leafs as an american id like to be the first to say wlecome to the club
Unibroue is owned by Sapporo so they do have some international distribution.
I live in Texas and Fin du Monde and Trois Pistoles aren't that hard to find.
Oregonian here. Fin du Monde is AMAZING.
im still waiting for you to list a beer lol, alpine, keiths, top what you mention
This is my favorite TRY Channel video so far. Can you keep these pairings going because this is YT Gold.
MC: "I feel really sad."
Donal: "I feel really sick..."
Jeffrey Noller - These were great pairings but they have to get Ryan, Dermot and George in occasionally - especially when alcohol is involved!
as a Canadian, I find this extremely hillarious
it's not BLOODY CEASAR.....it's called CEASAR.....and they are very tasty, maybe you're mixing them wrong, too much of one thing, not enough of another
as a Canadian, I'm sorry
Haha, I would have gave em lucky lager
Those were not very good drinks to represent our country. Molson Canadian and Moosehead are okay but hardly our best or most distinctive beers. And anything with Clamato in it... well, I'm pretty sure the Geneva convention was violated when serving it to these poor folks.
+Phlebas
haha, I was thinking this as well... I only know like 1 person out of a hundred that come to mind, that likes clamato anything! we should just do away with it altogether
No crown? Really? We need a part 2 ASAP!
Crown Royal isn't even truly Canadian. It's made by Diagio,. an AMERICAN company
@@satan3959 Perhaps, but it was created by a Canadian.
Upon watching it for the 2nd time, also cracking up at Shannon's reaction at 4:28, "Is it good?!" LMAO! Éadaoin wouldn't have had that reaction if it was good!
Lol I just died laughing at that bit.
This bit was the BEST! Shannon, you crack me up!
Crown Royal has a Christmas one they sell with a touch of Maple Syrup. Delicious.
HA! You thought we were nice. We're polite. Big difference lol.
So yeah, I have to agree with you
And that's not even all of us.. There is and can be alot of not nice or polite Canadians
We will politely tell you to fuck off.... With a smile and a jerseying
I'm not sure about how polite we are anymore. How can we stay polite living next door to the States?! Out.
I don't remember the name but the Apple one is also quite good if not a little light
good beers Serpentza , a South African living in China likes it and he drinks a few brew whn he does a taste test. HaHa. Check him out.
The Apple one your talking of is probably the Ephemere in which you can have in 9 differents fruits. really tasty choices
They could have given them some of our wines, Icewine, Newfoundland Screech,, REV,, Canadian Club Whiskey, Maple liqueur
, Then for Cocktails there is the Caribou, This drink is often served at the Quebec Winter Carnival, and consists of mulled wine, whisky or rum, and maple syrup.
Amy V marry me.
Very few Canadian breweries distro abroad. In Connecticut I can get two decent Canadian breweries with any regularity (unibroue and Collective Arts). States with better distribution might have one or two (Dieu De Ciel for example) more available to them.
Definitely should've had some Gibson's Whisky or some Crown Royal!
"If I wanted fish in my drink, I'd drown!"
of all the years I’ve been watching these guys videos...that is one of the best lines I’ve heard.
As a Canadian I have to tell you I’ve never ever heard of a red eye...
Same here. I don't know where the fuck they got this from but, its not from Ontario ill tell you that.
Your not Canadian then, it’s good when you’re hungover👌
My husband drinks beer and Clamato we don’t call it red eye though
1024 0119 drink it all the time in Saskatchewan 😜
Samee
I have made Caesars at home, and have used Clamato juice, and just now realized that it is made with clam..... Oh well, it's good.
CarlaRozendal OH DEAR GOD WOMAN!! HAHAHA HOW THE FOOOOK IS THAT???
BTW YOU’RE ADORABLE!!!
There are so many good Canadian microbreweries in Canada that could have been used or even Sleemans honey pale ale.
Upper Canada beer is delicious too. I think it's only in Ontario.
Love me some crown Apple
MC saying "DONAL'S GOING TO TAAAKE AN AAANTLER OUT!" is the most culchie thing i've heard ever! 😂😂😂👌🏼
😆😆😆
SHARUF!, why are you not releasing any content on your channel?
Bubba Crumpton Hi! New episode went up this evening! 😁😁😁
Have ya ever been to Laois, hai?
I'm partial to him saying "If I wanted fish in my drink, I'd drown." The face he makes when he says it makes it haha
Outraged Canadians demand a remake of this video with actual alcohol we enjoy and are proud of .. 🇨🇦 ❤ .. also sorry .. hope I don't offend .. like for reals ..
I live 90 miles from the Canadian border, ceasers are some of my favorite drinks!
Ffs u did not put much effort on research for canadian alcool. Poor content on that one
Ceasars are quite popular here though, moreso than bloody marys.
that's interesting, never had tequila in my caesar.... I will try it out
Oh man I totally forgot about screech, I complained about the fact they didn’t offer Canadian Club or Crown Royal....would have loved to seen their reactions to Canadian Whiskey
I went to a Boston Pizza and the waitress didn't add the celery, hate place had no Caesar Celery! I wanted to smack Jim Triliving for allowing such a travesty!
I prefer whiskey in my caesars (if you want to make it canadian style use Wiser's). It gives it a smokey flavour :) it's sooo yummy
Isn't the only thing Canadian about Screech, the bottle? It's imported from Jamaica as far as I know. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I love all of Shannon's reactions 🤣
Not sure if it's the same in Canada but here in the US we drink beer and tomato juice for a hangover cure.
Yeah we drink caesar's for hangover cure
Yes, the "redeye" is the beer and tomato/clamoto drink to "cure" a hangover. I'm not sure if it actually works b/c I can't stand it. Now a good Caesar is awesome!!
Honestly thought ‘Red beer’ was from Texas! Learned something new. I LOVE a Caesar! Great for hangovers. I prefer mine a bit more spiced, at least some cracked black pepper(perhaps a bit of garlic salt) & a hot sauce with some more gusto like Culley’s Fire Water if you like the Tabasco flavor.
The reason Canadians are so nice is because they took all their hatred, bottled it up, and clamato juice was born.
Tru dat.
ah man, it means I love bottled hatred hahah
Actually we put some of that hatred into Canadian Geese too.
The smell coming off of my high school basketball court on a hot day confirms this.
I wish I could like your comment a hundred times.
I don't like clams but I like Eadaoin so I stuck it out 🤣🤣💖
I love clams, I love oysters.... yummy...hehe
I'd quite like a taste o yer clam, m'lady...
i think i succeeded in making that as creepy as possible
Sorry they talked you into believing that we like cold soup for cocktails, it's just not true. Lager and Whiskey. Sleeman's Honey Brown Ale and Canadian Club Rye Whiskey- get them to let you taste-test THOSE :-)
Withidread Menze Or Windsor!
"That's... That's liquid" "yeah, tastes like beer" "this tastes like divelment" I love it. These quotes give me life
what is divelment? I couldn't make out what she was saying and even seeing it written down I'm still confused.
AdorkableArtist92 basically it's a very Irish word, old Irish slang oh really. It essentially means mischief
ohhhh devilment? that makes sense.
That's the best description i've ever heard of canadian lmao. Most bland beer ever hahaha
There reactions in the Clamato section is priceless! Clamato is definitely a acquired taste. As a Canadian, its fascinating seeing people react to our brands.
I love Shannon's reactions!
yeah
"If I wanted fish in my drink... I'd drown" 😂😂
Shannon - "Gasp gasp! Is it good?!" lmao!
Prauge .. "The Canada of Europe". Flippin' hilarious!
Definitely made me laugh.
IT'S COLD SOUP!
I cracked up at that line
I can’t believe they don’t like Clamato juice omggggg I used to drink it straight when I was a kid
im litterally drinking it by itself right now. That shit taste so fucking good.
Clamato juice is absolute garbage. It's the worst mix of contrasting flavors to ever be combined. It's instant vomit inducer.
That shit is nasty. I love tomato juice, I can't stand clamato. And I didn't even know there are clams in it. That makes it 1000x more nasty.
@@emilygoogle6520 ever eat a tomato with just salt? like an apple? thats clamato
@@honkhonk8009now I need to go and get some clamato juice extra spicy.
I'm starting to sense a theme with pairings on TRY. MC and Donal have always been great, and Paul drinking with Diane is awesome, but Shannon and Éadaoin have awesome chemistry.
Diane: It’s the most nationalistic-looking can of alcohol I’ve ever seen in my life.
Budweiser: Hold my...me. Hold me.
I didn't realize Budweiser was actually called American with the stars and stripes wrapped around the can.
Now that's funny.
Lol hold me. Thats funny
Bud is gross
We have angered IRISH JESUS!!! Why on earth would you choose the 4 most boring and awful drinks from my homeland?
BennyGesserit I’m not angry Canada I’m just disappointed
indeed, there's soooooo much more than what were shown in this vid.... but also, so many gold medal winner spirits and beers..... next time, maybe?
Hey, at least they weren't drinking Kokanee...
@Clarissa
It'd at least show some bloody effort if they had.
I think they just got ahold of some shite they could find locally.
LOL! Ya, ask anyone from Canada that is an avid beer drinker, Molson Canadian is what you drink after you already drunk and want to keep drinking for cheap! Hahahahaha!
*Making angry disgusted face*"Is it good?"lol
that part had me laughing pretty hard
I feel for the Irish folk in the video. They gave you some of the shittest alcohol Canada has to offer. Where was the Crown Royal? The Taiga? Iceberg Vodka? We have better beer than the US, but it's not as good as Bavarian ale.
Moose don’t go “moooo” someone let her know
Don’t bother - she’s too blonde to understand. Shannon really needs an extra brain cell to rub against her other one.
Is no one gonna mention Shannon's penguin (not a euphemism)
Dan yes, I had to do a double take, wondering she was wearing a Christmas sweater in May 🎅
"For the channel" 😍
@ 4:29 Shannon, "Is it good?" ROFL!!!!
You need to know that we drink Caesar’s & beer with Clamato as hair of the dog/hangover cure!🇨🇦❤️
It's the cure to a Sunday morning
@@lordfogg9728 it sounds like it’d make you vomit unless you were used to it from birth. I wouldn’t touch it with a 100 foot pole.

Try some Crown Royal “Northern Harvest”. I do agree though, where’s the Canadian club? If you are going for something with “Canada” in the name. We have so many better beers as well.
"If I wanted fish in my drink, I'd... drown." - Perfect.
