Irish spirit Poitín (pronounced po-cheen) is one of the strongest drinks in the world with an alcoholic volume of 40-90%. It is also known as Poteen. It comes from the Irish word 'pota' which means 'pot'. We decided to get some popular branded Poitín from a local source, and see what our Irish People made of it!

I'm glad you enjoyed them! I have no way of proving it now that RUclips got rid of the feature allowing community members to contribute to captions, but most of the captions were written by me a few years ago.I miss doing them. I'm very passionate about improving accessibility for people with disabilities, so I thought writing captions for a RUclips channel that I love would be a nice way to help others. I tried to include captions for deaf people as well as some indication of what was happening on-screen for blind people who use screen readers.

I was in an Orish pub in Germany. Befriended the barkeep, good advice. She have me some of the Pot. Said to keep it on the down low, was sort of "illegal". Don't remember much after that

@@Dularr A lot of police departments in the U.S. actually have a day where they have volunteers come in and get drunk so the officers can practice their field sobriety tests to determine if someone is drunk or not.
I second this. She seems sober but I want to see what she's like when it really kicks in. Have EMTS available though. She may hold her liquor well but, that doesn't mean her body isn't suffering.
