    I bought my elite match 10mm in September of 2015. Never had a singal round misfire besides sellior and bellot ammo on my first mag ever. We can arguee it was the ammo or the gun right? My elite match was 780.00 at the gunshop and was shipped and man milled by an Italian man himself. What folks don't know mostly is this weapon is so accurate almost like a 22call rifle but in your hand. I love them handles you put on yours sir. This is truly the only automatic 10mm I will ever own. It's the best when this model was made by hand. I have ran all types and pressures of ammos sence and never had a failure due to the ammo or gun. But I will never buy sellior and bellot ammo again. And if you ask me them 14 rounds is very tight inside that magazine sir. I mean like a shock in a car tight 😆

    • @Icarryone
      @Icarryone  3 года назад +7

      Might as well tube one up and run 15 - right?

      @@Icarryone yes i run 15 rounds if i need it in my home with the 10mm but it is so tight i dont like it so i really would keep 13 in mag and one in chamber. i created a 14 round mag for my glock 42 in 380 a year ago which was much fun. it took 2 regular 6 round mags to make a 14 rounder. but it only likes flat nose ammo. im yet to mod my 60 doller 10mm mag to the elite. but to make a shock mag would rock on man hahaha.

    Nice video as usual. I love my EAA Witness full size 10mm. I've never has a single issue with it. (Made by Tanfoglio).
    If shooting a 10mm you may as well shoot the hot loads. That's what sets it apart.

    10mm Auto's rule. When my brother bought his Colt Delta Elite so long ago, I asked him why??? Given time and 15 years, I sought out a 10mm of my own, and purchased a Glock 20SF. I already owned a .40SW in a SW4013TSW. The 10mm Auto was designed for full power loads, else you can shoot the watered down .40SW in a lesser gun (I shoot both). Both 10mm's I own only shoot full power loads, (for field carry) but I have developed loads to help with trigger control for practice. Its like buying a 357 Mag, but only ever shooting .38SPL. But really what you have with either is versatility. Low to High power for the 10mm, and with a .40SW low to Medium power. My 10mm 135gr HP loads are on par with Underwood and shoot accurately out to 200yrds from both my Ruger 1911 10mm and Glock 20SF with Wolf 6in bbl. Energy approaches 800ft-lbs, which is much better than any .357Mag load I can make. Given that and a 15+1 in the Glock, you are looking at 12,800ft-lbs of delivered energy from one mag.

      I have tried to like the CZ75 pattern but the safety is too far forward to operate for me. I like the rearward safety of the 1911s. The Rock Island was a better choice for me. Plus, they do have the dual safeties and I'm left handed. Gun companies shut out thirty percent of their customers for not offering a safety for us lefties.

    I own one of these. It is a fine firearm. Accurate, reliable, and controllable.
    It is a little larger than the Government 1911 and a bit heavier. Even though the Match Elite is only somewhere around 0.2" to 0.1" wider than the 1911, the 1911 is much more comfortable for me to carry inside the waistband style (3 o'clock). In the final analysis the Colt trigger is what makes the 1911 the "best" for me.

A couple years ago,, when I first purchased my Springfield XDM OSP 10mm with the 4.5 slide & 5.28" threaded barrel, I bought a couple boxes of ammo to go with it, as soon as I found some. I also have an elite match in 10mm. I really like it except for one issue, every time I fire it the mag won’t drop free when I hit the mag release. I have to push up on the magazine and then pull it out. If I don’t fire the gun, then the mag goes in and out with no issue. I am not sure what is going on with it. Other than that it has been really reliable and accurate. I did upgrade the recoil spring and the guide rod from henning group.

    Really good to hear that you're having zero issues with full house 10mm in your Tanfo....I have been researching them for a few years and they have a bad reputation in various forums 🤷‍♂️
    I love and appreciate my 9x17 & 9x19 Tanfoglios.....but Oh Yeah 10mm is the Best millimeter, a TRP LONGSLIDE, SR1911, Stainless Target II, Fusion Commander, RIA FS HC..... all attest to my sentiment

    I really wanted to pick one up. However, I've found that I could not reach the slide release because the safety lever is poorly positioned, is too large & extends out to far. The only way to reach the release is to rotate the pistol in my hand, resulting in a incomplete grip on the pistol as the slide slams closed. Not a safe situation.
    For those who want to add an insult, I do not have small hands, being able to palm a basketball. The best safety/slide release I've found is on the Beretta 92.
