    Bro, you can't tell your trigger weight gage, combined with the way you are doing it, is way the heck off. I own these guns and none of the trigger weights are as low as you are saying. The lowest Factory Shadow 2 trigger you're going to see is 2 lb at best. You either had a ton of trigger work and other work done on these Firearms to reach that trigger weight or it's just way the heck off. At less than a pound the guns would not be able to function.

    Just picked up one of the optics ready shadow 2’s. What kind of work have you done to get the single action trigger near a pound? I’d love to know more because I’m interested in doing some work on mine.

      It's much easier to get a TSO/TSO2 to a pound compared to a Shadow because the TRS, trigger bar, and trigger (the trigger is the same as on a SAO Shadow 2 though) are different compared to standard CZ 75 variants (Shadow 2 included). The TSO/TSO2 are SAO and because of the different parts, cannot be converted to DA/SA.

      You can get mounts that replace the thumb rest/gas pedal, some with their own thumb rest as well. This pistol is designed primarily as a USPSA/IPSC limited class pistol, with potential use as a open pistol. Limited class is all iron sights, so a slide optic cut doesn't make sense for this pistol, especially because any use in a potential limited optics class would use the frame mount, similar to an open pistol.

    • @calitovegas408
      @calitovegas408 11 месяцев назад

      It can not. you would have to find one that fit and then have the right side drilled and tapped. Gun manufactures hate us lefties

      You cant

    • @michall3918
      @michall3918 7 месяцев назад +1

      Not really. There are no holes on the right side, and also the thumb rest is not symmetrical, it will not fil around. You could get an aftermarket one though and drill the holes.
      Id just remove it for left handed shooter, thumb rest impact on perfofmance is overrated and best shooters actually use if as index point more then recoil control thing

    Gonna go out on a limb and say your trigger gauge is way out of spec. There is no way a gun is leaving the factory with under a one pound pull.

      Yea, I thought so soon as the shadow was below 2lb. I think him jerking it doesn’t help. Should be like 2-4lb on the ts2

    • @michall3918
      @michall3918 7 месяцев назад

      gauge is ok, he is measuring wrong. You should slowly pull until trigger breaks, not jerk back violently. Stock Sh2 should be 2.5-3.5, tricked out around 2 is possible with reasonable springs.

      You better have some extremely good trigger control at 1.5 to 1.25 pounds of trigger pull weight or else you will lots of unintended discharges with a handgun.
