Started checking out the first album just a few days ago. I always knew the main songs but never gave the rest of there stuff a chance and I didn't realise how heavy they were tbh.
I did the same thing. Love of a Lifetime was the first big song they released. I couldn't get through it without crying or getting depressed so I had to shut it down. Eventually did listen to the rest of the CD and was pleasantly surprised. Really liked what I heard and surprised by the heavy metal vibe it had. The guys are fantastic music wise too!
I will never forget these guys. I seen them on tour with tesla. Tesla is just unbelievable. Love them. I was expecting firehouse to come out with "love of a lifetime" or "don't treat me bad". When they launched out, I was blown away. I hate it for tesla because they kicked the shit out of them. I love tesla so don't get me wrong. But when you have a band open up for you, make sure they are not as good as you.
Firehouse is possibly the most underrated band of the 90s! Should of been massive.
R.I.P to the man that made my childhood. Firehouse would have been overrated if the world were full of people like me.😢
