He sings in that register which separates a good singer from sheer gifted vocal ability, along with the abundance of talented musicians playing "pop" music being a thing of the past! ...although if i had to guess, the vocals for this were done in a studio...they are just too perfect to be a live track!

I played a little with Ben Baird too when we were like 17 or so?? We're still playin, just a lil older now & everybody's got kids & a little more scattered out...lol
I'm a huge Stryper fan and Firehouse fan and it's weird you asked this 5 years ago, and now Perry Richardson ( Firehouse bassist here) is Strypers new Bassist. But, I think they're both different.
