I love the simplicity of your videos. You say what I need to hear. Thank you
You’re welcome
That headlamp is hardcore! Love it.
Heck yeah! I should do a video scooping at night with it on..
Completely love your set up. Very similar items that we use at Dirty Deeds Downriver. We have been using a head lamp from day 1. They are lifesavers. This was one of my first purchase since I knew I would be scooping into the dusk timeframes.
Awesome set up
Nice! I remember you telling me about that when we had lunch. Should have gotten one sooner. Thank you for the tip.
The LED head lights were such a great suggestion! I actually bought myself a pair after I saw this video and I'm so excited for the Fall seasons so I can get to try them out! Great video!
Nice! It comes in hand all the time. Just have to remember to keep it charged.
Thank you so much for these videos! You’ve helped give some insight and tips to help make things a little easier for me. I’ve been doing pet waste removal for few years now. It started out as a spare time gig, and it’s now full-time. I’m hoping to hire a helper soon, and I just really appreciate your tips and tricks!
Happy to help! Thank you for tuning in and hang out with me. I truly appreciate it.
Good work! I'm adding this to my Pest Control business.
Let me know how it goes!
Loving it!!!
Another excellent informative video.
Thank you :)
Yes Erica Very Good Content and very Valuable to see what is good Equipment for beginners 101to start out with Thx!
You're so welcome!
This video was well edited and then it was the best information thank you a lot
Thank you :)
I love your videos! Please keep making them! I heard you on the Side Hustle Nation podcast and you've inspired me to start my own scooping business in Florida. We're in the process of gathering our supplies and figuring out our marketing plan. I have so many questions, but to keep it related to this video do you have a link to the head lamp you purchased from Amazon?
Keep up the good work and keep posting awesome videos!
youmh007 welcome to the channel! Thank your for watching and listening. If you have any request shoot them over.
Here is the amazon link to the head lamp

Great video, good job with the editing! A few questions: forgive me if this is a dumb one but what is the soap for? So do you put the bag on the dust pan thing and then tie it off once the bag is full and put another bag on the dust pan? Lastly (and I guess not really a question) that headlamp is pretty cool lol
Dulin Cut & Trim thank you! We’re making little moves over where.
I use the soap because I like to. Not sure it’s necessary, but I like using it. Most soap isn’t compatible with bleach, but Dawn is.
As for the bag, I loop the drawstring over the handle and then put the bag inside the bucket and then fold it over the top and the bottom of the bucket. Once the bucket gets kind of full and the poop starts rolling out of the bucket when I set it down or it gets too heavy I switch the bag out. I will make a video on this.
The headlamp is probably the second coolest thing I own.
Always appreciative of the info!
I was going to ask about the soap/bleach combo, too! Is that primarily for the purpose of cleaning your tools post-scoop? We use a spray cleaner/degreaser with paper towels but I’m guessing a soap/bleach dunk might be more time-efficient...
Justin Roberge I didn’t like the spray and wipe method. I did it in the beginning then started using the “ sanitation station” and like that better. I think either way works perfectly fine, most of the scoopers I know use the spray and wipe method.
Im inspired

Hi, thanks for providing info about this business! How did you store scooping tools, waste, and soap bucket before you had a truck?
You’re welcome! Let me see if I can find some of my old footage of the car.
Hi! I just received my yellow buckets today, i was wonder how you flipped the handle the opposite way, it looks like i need to break it to rotate it. Is that how you guys did it and taped it?
My husband said all you need to do is push the little round black pieces on the side inward really hard to pop them out.
I watched it. 😎
Thank you
What trailor did you first use on the Chevy Cobalt?
This isn’t the exact one, but vary similar. I got mine from a local shop. I didn’t have a hitch on my car so I needed to install a hitch as well..

How do you clean up watery poop? When do you sanitize your stuff?
It’s hard to do that. I just scrape it up the best I can usually no complaints. I sanitize between houses.
Jennifer Clemons I don’t charge extra. My rates are already a good price so I don’t feel the need to charge extra.
I was thinking if using a scoop that is slightly smaller than yours because it is a size that I can find biodegradable bags that fit. I believe the bags are about 30 cents per bag. I was curious of your thoughts and if you know of anywhere to get biodegradable bags to fit the larger scoops? I love your videos btw and they have helped me to start my own company as well!
The biodegradable bags I got from Canada were large enough to fit my bucket, but I didn’t like them. To thin for how aggressive I scoop. Have your called around to local janitorial companies in your are to see what they have or can get? .30 a bad is pretty expensive, I’d definitely keep looking around.
I know some scoopers that don’t use a bag while they scoop the yard. Check out Stinky Tails on Instagram.
And thanks for tuning in! Glad the Congo has helped :)
Can you please make a video of how you put the trash bag inside the dust pan thing?
Yes
Love your videos. I am starting a scoop poop business in Georgia and I’m wondering if I can ask you some questions? Also, I’m originally from Michigan! Oakland county area.
yboby absolutely! I’ll do my best to answer. Thanks for watching!
One day I hope to visit Georgia 🍑
There’s no poop service in the city
I’m in so I’m about to set my business up
Get it! What state do you live in?
@@KroopinsPoopinScoopin in Michigan
No service yet? What part of Michigan? Find me there are over 60 companies offering this service.
@@KroopinsPoopinScoopin I’m in Wyoming but In Grandville they got one company and in Grand Rapids that got a company
never mind the dog poop what skin care products do you use ? great skin !
Thank you! Lots of water
I already muck horse 💩 going to 8 barns daily it used to be 12 ...I think I might start a pooper scooper lol
You totally should!
What do you do with the horse waste?
@@minimalstructure2140 stays at each farm
I’ve never scooped horse waste before, but I know some companies do. Just make sure to price it right. I’m sure it will take some trial and error.
The engine is runing?
Thank you for the video.
Oh yes, that’s my old truck. She’s loud, but runs great 👍🏻
What do you do with all the poop at the end of the day.
We scoop a customers yard, double bag the poo and put it in the homeowners trashcan. Before we stopped hauling the waste away we rented a dumpster and disposed of the waste at the end of every shift.
Quick question, where do you dispose of the poop once your finished for the day?
Yes, at least we try too. Lately we’ve been having duping issues. I don’t like keeping poop in the bed of the trucks for more than a day or two.
Where do you dumo t usually? Like after you put it in the truck then what?
Dump it*
I'm asking because I'm in the midst of starting up a scoop
Biz as well. Trying to figure out where to dispose of the waste once ipicked up has become a mystery. I've called land fills...nope they don't take it. I've called OCRAA the recycling authority in my county...they couldn't answer my question. This is why I ask where you actually dispose of yours? Apparentlyy cities garbage pick up takes per waste as long as it's double bagged. I just find it's going to be a heck of a lot of waste on a weekly one day pick up. So I'm still stumped on a way. Thinking about dumpster rental as a possibility but that wouldn't be until the business grows
This is a great question. I'm part of the "anti dog rationalist" movement and we noticed the typical situation of dog waste disposal: it's not in the books! City code and regulations do not mention dog waste. These need to be addressed and made into bylaws. I think it was the EPA that deemed dog waste as a toxic biohazard. Best way is to flush it into the septic sewage municipal system.
Where did you get the light. Head gear

Big Daddy Hebrew cobiz head lamp. But if you search headlamps many different options will pop up.
Where do you dispose of all the poop?
In my city.
@@KroopinsPoopinScoopin Just tossing it into your regular garbage?
Nope, I rent a dumpster and I use the city dump.
How long did it take you to get your first 50 yards?
I hit 50 accounts after my first spring rush so under a year in business.
@@KroopinsPoopinScoopin thank u for the info! my wife and i started a junk removal business but its not steady work so hoping to fill in the gap w poop removal AND hopefully one day thats all we do. junk removal can be a bit back breaking
I live 10 minutes from The Villages, in Florida and there is a franchise pet waste removal company called Poop 911 that I would be competing with if I started this business. They charge $9.95 for one dog and $12.00 for two. So, I guess I will not be able to charge as much as you do or I won't get any business. Do you think I could make enough a living charging $9.95?
We have them as well, I have so many companies around me.. many lower in price. We provide excellent customer service, reliable service, and over all an outstanding and easy experience.
We can’t compete with Franchise companies on price, but we can on the experience.
Hi there! Is there a way I can private message you? I'm thinking about getting into the Poop Scooper business for myself. Please advise 🐕🐾💩😀
Awesome! Email me at kroopinservices@gmail.com
Do we have to have a truck?
No you don’t. I started with a Chevy cobalt with a cargo trailer attached to the back. We still use her on the fleet.
Does she do jobs through the winter?
We do!
@@KroopinsPoopinScoopin What do you do if there’s snow? Just take a couple weeks off?
@@chasemoray425 Personally what I do is I may need to take a few days off. Despite the snow, dogs still need to use their yards. Winter can be a rough season, but the clients are pretty understanding and thankful even more.
I watched . You don't need those lights now with daylight saving time 😵
grandamchik true true, but it could come in handy if I decide to start scooping before Jesus wakes up like you do. 😂
