- Rob presents our list of 7 brutally hard bronze trophies that could easily be golds. We’ve nothing against hard PlayStation trophies, as long as they respect our effort with silver or gold. These bronze trophies are not so kind. How many have you earned?

But in the years since then, loads of difficult trophies have emerged. You have the likes of Leave No One Behind in Baldur’s Gate 3 or Polygonal Prizefighter in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. And don’t get us started on Quantum Solution in Deathloop - high blood pressure incoming.

I was waiting for Rob to mention 3D Brawler. The amount of ATB you earn for hitting Sephiroth is minuscule compared to what he earns. I eventually managed it, but only with the help of a guide. Wait till you get to Middle Manager's side quest on Hard Mode. The Battle at the colosseum is really tough.
Fun thought: to have your polygonal avatar appear in 3D Brawler, presumably you have to play the game. That means that at some point Sephiroth has gone to the Gold Saucer to play arcade games.
The bloodlust Trophy in Final Fantasy 9...nearly 24 hours pure Grinding even if you are near the end of the Game for killing 10.000 enemies.
Social lubricant trophy in the original Watch Dogs
Legendary Gardener on NieR Replicant (2021). Even with timezone manipulation, this trophy requires AT LEAST 4 days of real world time, a lot of planning, and a HUGE amount of luck. The platinum for this game is no joke.
Many of the Souls and Souls like games only award bronze for the great majority of bossed, even difficult ones. In almost all of the difficuoty trophies on DMC5 it's a bronze as well. :(

#podsquad I think I speak for everyone when I say WE LOVE THE FRIDAY FEATURES! LONG LIVE THE FRIDAY FEATURES! I hope Rob is enjoying going back to his Access roots by writing and making these again. I started watching Access because of them (9/10 years ago when they weren't even called Friday Features!) and there's nothing quite like the humour and skits that you splice into these lists videos. Also, serious credit to the CGI - hilarious and impressive (for a special effects comparison, I had just watched one from 9 years ago where Nathan voices a paper towel with a face drawn on and a voice like Andy Murray - absolutely classic mind).
Anyway thanks Rob and the team - the hard work is not going unappreciated!

Hello, you've caught me reminiscing about the last bronze trophy that made me want to tear my hair out.
"Hardcore Risette Fan" from Persona 4 Golden.
On paper it's exceedingly simple, "Hear 250 of Rise's navigation lines". In execution you'd have more luck winning the lottery than unlocking this trophy through regular gameplay. Any trophy that requires you to keep a literal spreadsheet of every possible dialogue line including the circumstances in which they are said and using that as a checklist in order to keep track of progress and serve as a reminder of possible tasks to reach that final milestone SHOULD NOT BE CLASSIFIED AS F*CKING BRONZE!
This one trophy made my New Game Plus playthrough, the run that should have been an absolute steamroll through the combat and free time, take LONGER than the regular playthrough.
This trophy brought pain beyond measure, your comment made me both smile and cry😭😂
Somewhere in my memory, I seem to remember that there was a trophy like this in Persona 5 with Futaba, and it was not fun to get that one. I have also heard somewhere, that one of the Persona 3 games on PSP, also had a trophy like this with Fuuka.

For anyone stuck on the 10 ton berry fight in FF7 Rebirth, there’s actually a really easy way to do this.
If you go to North Corel and explore around the mine cart tracks you can find an item called “Safety Bit” which prevents against Instant Death. Once you get it you can then transmute it for all party members. After that just try the challenge again and the tonberries won’t be able to kill you.
Two words: Mein Leben. It's German for 'My Life' and it's a bronze in Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, and all you have to do is beat the game without dying on it's hardest difficulty. I've done it once and I'm never doing it again.
I always thought Mein Leben was German for “My Love” 😅

Pause is your friend for beating Sephiroth. Each time he pulls his arm back - pause. You will have to learn some of his patterns when he goes beserk but that is relativley simple enough. Yeah it's a cheese but it works 😅

Now this is the kind of content that originally made me a subscriber! Rob's clever writing and great delivery, Dave walking in on questionable situations, The Tally, Delsin, silly skits and loads of puns, Dr. Pepper, Final Fantasy, and the whole crew generally having a good laugh at themselves and each other.

Just Platinumed BG3, can confirm this little bronze trophy was the hardest of the bunch!
I'm working on the plat and I got that on my second playthrough, it really isn't that hard. The only thing I'm scared of is the Tactician playthrough, it took me four playthroughs to even beat the game on Balanced without switching to Explorer halfway through
@tabeatamm3594 Bit of advice, the game doesn't care what type of ending you get or how you managed to get to the end of act 3.
A surprising amount of potential fights can be avoided by saying the right things to the right people.
Also, long rests cost an arm and a leg on tactician, but traveling between regions, which grants you the exact same benefits, is free of charge.
And finally, if you don't care for Gale all that much, he is basically a press to win button during the final fight.

The original Dead Space has a trophy called Don't get cocky Kid. To earn this trophy you need to complete the ADS segment without letting the Ishimura's shields drop below 50 percent which is easier said than done. The asteroids come at you in numbers and the ADS will periodically overheat preventing you from shooting at the asteroids until it cools off.

"Rapid Discord" and "The Floor Is Lava" are still one of the most insanely difficult bronze trophies I've seen.

Hello there! You've caught me celebrating the return of a beloved format.
I've got a good old bronze for you: complete set, from Hades: earn all cthonic companions. While not exactly hard, it takes a loooong time to get it - and the trophy for unlocking the first companion is also bronze, so the complete set should have been at least silver!

I'm currently working on getting the Platinum Trophy in every Kingdom Hearts game, and Birth By Sleep has become my bane.
Three Bronze trophies that are pure evil, and all intertwined.
Complete all reports with Terra, Ventus, and Aqua.
Seems easy enough until you realise to get the last report entry, you need to beat all of the Super Bosses...with each character...and Young Xehanort is seen as the worst Super Boss across all the games.
Also the Bronze Trophy for getting a Fantastic rating in every Ice Cream Beat song on Master Difficulty.
Do you mean Xemnas, young Xehanort doesn't show up until Dream Drop.

It's somehow reassuring to see Rob include the Grim Reaper trophy for Resident Evil 2. That one pesky trophy is all that prevents me having a Plat in one of my favourite games.

The rarest Bronze that I have is "So Much Blood!" from Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep: One Shot Adventure.
To get it you need to stay in Gunzerk mode for 90 seconds. You need to make sure you use the right skills to keep it going while also having plenty of enemies to kill.

Reminds me of the "DrinQUEEN" trophy in The Good Life. You can enter a drinking competition with the local vicar, at which point a minigame starts where the characters drink, while you (the player) have to keep a ball balanced on a tilting, shrinking ledge until the vicar passes out (after 5 drinks) in order to win. You can attempt this once per in-game day (so you either have to reload from your house when you lose, or wait until tomorrow). It is (and I believe this is the technical classification) "bastard hard". Oh, and you have to win it 100 times in total, in order to obtain this measly bronze trophy.
Don't act like Plat Man didn't just use an early 2010s VW key fob to shoehorn into his intro LOL

I got platinum for Nioh 1 so I probably done the Destroyer of demon, maybe. As for my nephew, he did get the Grim Reaper trophy and platinumed both Resident evil 2 and 3. His secret? He memorized the route and ran like hell itself chasing him.
I think quite a few games has bronze that should be gold. Especially the trophy to finish the game in harder modes. Those should be in Silver or Gold.
I give your nephew big credit. The mental image of him running in game like hell was chasing him made me laugh too hard.
