Man seeing Rob say “Hello you caught me….” And the trumpet starts playing in the background hit something deep inside me. I needed this back in my life, I don’t care what the list is about I just need Rob’s voice about anything video game related and that music. Could be 7 title menu that let us know we’re in for a treat and I’ll still hit watch faster than lightning.
I 100% agree, I don't want to take away from other hosts wanting to do their lists but Rob is just A PART of PlayStation for me at this point, PlayStation Access in its entirety is the best thing to exist when it comes to building a community from any developer, The content is fantastic, the personalities are engaging and lovely, and Rob's Friday Features are a key aspect I think of the whole channels success
I keep coming back for more of Rob's writing. We joke how he's not the best at CTR, how he rages in every single game he plays. His writing is impeccable, erudite, and well thought out. I need more please Rob!
@BaajAnima I love Fort Condor and Queen's Blood. The only mini game I've had to rage quit is the piano. I just can't do it. Why did they have to make the sticks the way to control the notes?! Why?!
7 Signs Friday Features are Back 1. You get insanely excited for Friday! 2. You start grouping things into sets of 7 3. You start missing fictional characters - Rob’s mum, Plat man, Mystic Mike, Dan 4. You wish you had a small puppet sidekick 5. You start drinking Dr. Pepper 6. You learn the word penultimate. hint: it’s not what you think 7. You start every conversation with “Hello! You’ve caught me…”
I don't think I have ever met someone that thinks penultimate means something else than what it means. You only ever encounter it in a context, where it is somewhat easy to figure out what it means, even if you haven't heard it before.
For me, thus far anyway, it’s gotta be the squat challenge from Final Fantasy 7: Remake. While an iconic mini game in a game filled with iconic moments, the Remake version of the Squat Challenge is especially difficult since you actually have to have a sense of rhythm to do the squats. You can’t just press the buttons in order like in the original game, you actually have to press them in time with the movements. I was practically screaming my lungs out at how frustrating this mini game was after my dozenth attempt at trying to beat Jules on hard difficulty. XP
The squats weren't that bad as the button prompts always had to be pressed in a circular order. The pull ups in chapter 14 and the sit ups from Rebirth however can go die in a hole.
It looks like you guys are just genuinely having fun with these! It's a joy to watch, love all the skits and Nathan cameo 😂👌 Rob's writing has only gotten better over the years. That kh bbs minigame gave me whiplash, holy crap it was annoying.
Thank you for including Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep!! That damn minigame is literally the reason I'm not going to platinum the game + without that minigame, I was even going to platinum the whole series!! Another awesome Friday feature, so glad theyre back
A Dan sighting, Nath in a box, and 6 Persona Rosie...aaahhh what a treat! Doing Friday Features every week must feel a bit like a minigame harder than a final boss - Great work, Rob! And yes Gambler 8 challenge in RDR2 is a coin flip whether to continue or not haha
I got Final Fantasy IX's "Hail to the King" trophy. It took five days of practicing and experimenting, but I got there in the end. Never again, though! 😣
The Queen of Cards. This thing is rage-quit built directly into the game. FFVIII takes this crown, spins it around its finger, and pops it on its head at an angle while flashing you a cocky grin with all of the mouths on its cover.
I cannot even describe how much I love watching Rob's Friday Features. To see that they are finally back makes me really happy. They were the reason I started following the channel, I was always hoping for their return. I love listening to Rob talk about games. FF Fridays are BACK! 😍
Fantastic to see Nath back even if only briefly even if he's more management now, still miss him and remember the 301 Club. Nice references to games a former colleague enjoyed as well both FF & Yakuza.
As a joke, my ex girlfriend tried to get me to do the astoroid shooting bit in dead space. What she didn't know, is that i just completed the shooting challenge in Jak III. The bit where you shoot disc like orbs over the water. So, i beat the astorid bit on the first try, and she was very upset. Told me to get out of the room and leave her alone for the rest of the day. Which was fine, because then i could play whatever i wanted.
Someone needed to vent about the FF7 Rebirth minigames. I love Stardew.....but I heard that the creator regrets putting in the Junimo kart quest to get 50,000 points in endless mode (it's evil).
So great to see these Friday Features back!! I always looked forward to these every week back in middle school and a little bit in high school. Now I'm 21, I've moved across the country, and I'm still looking forward to the new FF every week. Keep it up, guys! :)
Agree so much with the Stardew one! Also love that you guys are making Friday Features again, I’ve watched the channel for years (started around when FFXV came out) and the features have always been a favorite.
Ah mini games. They can be a delight or a pain in the rear. I definitely prefer the former but as a completionist gamer I unfortunately have to deal with both.
Thank you sir for bringing these Friday features back. The comfort food of list videos. Your like the friends of playstation channels. God bless you, I'm not religious but it's the sentiment that counts, I think.
Finished that on my first try playing my third playthrough. Saved that playthrough, haha. I might have gotten bored and moved on to other games if I didn't, to be honest. Blitzball was always pretty easy for me. But the one thing I never had the patience for is the lightning dodging.
@@scotthart134 Yeah, the jump rope was too much. I've always tried it for some 10 minutes at the start of every playthrough with a mindset of "This time I will do it!", and getting disheartened very quickly.
PlayStation Access has been absolutely smashing it with the recent videos. Great job team! Love the skits & I'm still laughing about the Banana breaks in the Topspin Livesteam. #PODSQUAD
Love seeing the Friday features back, I missed them! The pac-man mini game in jak2 I think is probably one of the hardest I've ever had to complete. I swear they made it easier for the ps4 re-release, thank goodness
The Lightning Dodger trophy on FF10, The Jump Rope trophy on FF9 bring back some horrific memories i also recall the flappy goat trophy in the Goat Simulator game too, arrrhhh the rage
I’m with you, Rob. I’m 40 years old and have been playing FF since the 90’s and I have never wanted to kill a moogle until playing that godforsaken moogle herding minigame in FF7 Rebirth
Out of all the FF7 rebirth mini games you go with the Moogle one? That's easy AF! I would have expected the robot Gambits mini game in Cosmo Canyon, with Fort Condor in 2nd place.
I absolutely hate that moogle minigame. Honestly it is so incredibly frustrating. The fact the wee buggers still attack from being rounded up just adds to the frustration
Okami: Moving the balls for the bear - Especially the beehive in the forest FFX - Chokobo racing where you have to get less than 0:00 time FFX - BLITZBALL! FF8 - Tripple Triad Fallout NV - Caravan Witcher 3 Blood and Wine Expansion - The Gwent championship (Where you lose all your carefully created cards that won you a championship and you suddenly have to use the Skelige card sthat you have no clue how they work, and you can't save ANYWHERE during the tournament) Batman Arkham Knight - Ridler Trophies (there were a LOT of them) Skyrim: The stones of Barinziah. Though there IS a mod that DOES put markers on these things now... Same as the masks of the Dragon Priests Infamous: All the challenges - Ok let's see here... I need to... knock them off the building, slow time, chuck a grenade at them, and then zap it before they hit the ground... at a point where ther are no bad guys on buildings to knock off anymore...) Kingdom Hearts: The Gummy Ship challenges Jak II: Most of its challenges. The game itself actually...
I remember playing ratchet and clank games, I forget which installment it was but there was one with a mini game called “my blaster runs hot”. I also remember having tried it for 10-15 hours, failing miserably and becoming so scarred that I refuse to try it to this day.
I simply can’t believe the Friday feature times are back, it’s just too good to be true! ❤ By the way, talking about old times, I really struggled with Tetra Master the first time I played FF9, only recently I have been able to play it properly 😅
Rosie's silly montage of Yakuza mini-games was amusing. :D Also - Ugh, Fire and Sword: Spiders. I think what makes that one so bad is that the levels get so long and complex as you get further in, and there's generally only one right way to solve them, so if you get most of the way through a maze and make one mistake, you're gonna have to repeat each step that got you there when you inevitably die and have to restart.
Don't know if it counts as a minigame, but that timed block puzzle in Onimusha Warlords did it for me. I had to wait till I got internet access (this was 2001, don't judge) to tell me how to solve it.

Hello, You've caught me absolutely loving that these Friday features are back!
Same
Still can't believe it ❤😂
It's too good! The dream would be the onesie getting back too!
Hello You've caught me agreeing with you!!!😂
They are the absolute best imo. Game on gamers. Be good to each other out there.

7 title menus would be pretty sweets. I mean 3-4 leap to mind and I'm always ready for more. 7:43
Same i missed these
Same.
I agree!
Rob, Dave, Rosie, Dan, Nathan... and Delsin.
PERFECT FRIDAY FEATURE!
I keep coming back for more of Rob's writing. We joke how he's not the best at CTR, how he rages in every single game he plays. His writing is impeccable, erudite, and well thought out. I need more please Rob!
Before watching this video: "This list could be 7 minigames from FF7 Rebirth alone"
@BaajAnima I love Fort Condor and Queen's Blood. The only mini game I've had to rage quit is the piano. I just can't do it. Why did they have to make the sticks the way to control the notes?! Why?!
@@madalice5134 Love the piano mini-game so much. It's so good.
That line about letting Sephiroth destroy all life had me rolling! Like it's so relatable if you have ever felt that wrath inside! Lol!
*"Farming" There's a reason is one letter away from HARMING."* I laugh so hard at that😂

WHAT'S IN THE BOX!!? Apparently, Nathan and another Friday feature! Never stop making these! Happy weekend, everyone! ✌️😇
Woah, spoiler alert!
Phantom Menace Dan back on camera & around 20% of Nath. I bet Rosie had a blast playing Yakuza dress up.
Having the Friday Features back has helped me get through the worst third trimester ever. Thank you team Access. ❤❤
Rosie being able to bang out all those individually distinct character voices was very impressive!
Two words - Flappy Goat.
That mini game is the reason I still don't have the Goat Simulator platinum. Such an infuriating mini-game that one.
Definitely. I got the plat, but don't mistake that for me bragging about my skills in the game - it was a combination of pure luck & stubbornness.
For me, thus far anyway, it’s gotta be the squat challenge from Final Fantasy 7: Remake. Nath's head in a box was like something out of a Suda 51 game 😂 (Killer 7 etc)
Rob, Dave, Nathan, you guys are truly back and at your best. It is so good to have you back and making new top-level content together.
I cannot stress enough how much we have needed these Friday features. Thank you Rob 🎉🎉🎉
hello, you've caught me
im a fish
Now I’m imagining the fish head news anchor from SpongeBob making a cameo, and I thank you for that.
hello, you've caught me

Ice Cream Beat....took me weeks, now I NEVER have to play it EVER AGAIN at least.
Fantastic to see Nath back even if only briefly even if he's more management now, still miss him and remember the 301 Club. Nice references to games a former colleague enjoyed as well both FF & Yakuza.

Rebirth. All those god damn mini games broke me. Moogle mischief is the one mini game I actually enjoyed.
I did not enjoy it but it was not hard either, only the last one I failed a few times.
I enjoyed a lot of rebirth mini games but hated the moogle one 😅
3d brawler last 3 (Ifrit, the middle manager, and Sephiroth) are total BS.

Most of the bosses in FF7 Rebirth didn’t cause me any trouble but some of the minigames had me on the brink of tears. 😂
Yay Friday features are back! You caught me doing my happy dance!
Not once have I thought I'd see Stardew Valley on this channel but my god, yes. I find both mini games insanely difficult.
Hello, you've caught me waiting for next weeks friday feacher. I love that they are back as well as Desmond 😁

So cool to see Dan again :D I'm loving these Friday features
I subscribed for robs Friday features years ago, so happy they’re back
I needed Rob’s Friday features in my life again. Cheers 🍻
I have missed these every Friday. Rob's the only one that can do them.
King Rob why isn't he wearing his crown today 😂he's the king of making Friday perfect
Wonderful Nath appearance!
I knew jounery of the prairie king was going to be here. That is a brutal mini game
Those Yakuza costumes were peak 🤣
Friday features being back are just what you need at the end of a long work week
Love to see "new" entries into Friday features!
Truly, eff Journey of the Prairie King.
Was not expecting Rob to do a gruf cowboy accent 🤣
Woooh a mention of Catherine, however brief! Still need to 100% that game, and yeah, Rapunzel is gonna be a nightmare.
"UP FOR SOME JENGA!?" 😂 God I love Rosie!
Hello, you've caught me finally getting back into my routine of watching Friday Feature every week with my dinner

The butterfly catching mini game in FFX. Pretty much any mini game in any FF title now that I think about it.

Wow, "Huge Bear". Such an intimidating name. Way more intimidating than, I don't know, Blood-Starved Beast ? Orphan of Kos ? Metal Gear REX ?
Missed you Nathan! Beyond happy Friday features are back!🎉
Why can I imagine Rob saying "No, I don't think it was quite right, can we redo the kazoo and ice cream bit again? I'll go buy some more magnums."

Rosie's silly montage of Yakuza mini-games was amusing. :D
