Hey everyone! Peter's VA here. Let me just say that I am so grateful to have gotten to work on this, and for the paitence Russian Comic Book Geek had during the recording process. I spent many, MANY hours doing takes, and redoing them again, just to try and make this the best that I could and do this character and this story right.

This comic actually made me cry. I know it's just a comic with characters who will never know I exist but just for a moment, I lost myself to this amazingly written and spoken story

Comics are stories. Graphic novels. Books with artwork to help picture the words. People cry to great novels all the time. These stories are deep and filled with amazing stories. Don’t be afraid to say you cried to them. I cry to a lot of good ones, just as I’ve cried to amazing books I’ve read
Me as well. Especially the scenes with Peter and May.
Stories are sometimes somewhere deep within us and I feel like this one is a story that will live on. I get it. Several parts were great and special, especially when Spider-Man talks to God. There are certain lines in this that I find to be really touching.

No lie... this spider-man reminds me of the voice actor Yuri Lowenthal... peter/spider-man in the ps4/5 games!!!!! I love it!
Honestly this is one of the best runs of spider-man hands down. Despite two of em being some of the worst in the series, Straczynski really showed the beauty and the reason why so many love spider-man. The dub here is fuckin phenominal and the slight additions/editing/music choices it all comes together to form one of the best dubs I've seen. You can tell a lotta grueling hours/effort was put into this that stemmed from pure love for the series. And I love the addition of the aunt may reveal at the end and not just stopping at the end of the Morlun fight, it legit made me tear up a bit. I really hope you guys cover more stories from this era like the one with peter seeing his past and future self or one of my personal favorites back in black. Cheers to everyone who worked on this yall did more for spider-man than marvel in the past decade

This story of spider man is better than zeb wells story's hands down because Peter Parker & marry Jane's relationship was better Left unbreakable.
True; though I wouldn't simply use "unbreakable", as there have been writers and editors (mostly) who deface Spidey lore as a means to live out their power fantasies. Rather, "immortal" could be an appropriate word because there's an inability to die...save for the agony of constantly dying and being reborn, and the cycle goes on.
Peter can never catch a break all the heroes of New York and nobody helps him😢 if i was an X-men id move to new york to help my favorite hero! Id buy u time Pete❤ when he prays to god i cried because God will never answer peter!😢

Words cannot describe just how wonderful and well presented and orchestrated this entire VA performance this has been. It keep the pace, the timing, the emotional ties that brought this comic book to life... these are simple words that in the black and white of a text may not convey so easily, but from the bottom of my heart... thank you all. Each and everyone of you for this presentation!
Morlun's voice was just perfect, smooth but scary, (kinda similar to Mads Mikkelsen's voice, who I feel would be the perfect actor for the role!)
Such an amazing Spider-Man Story! I love the conversation between Aunt May and Peter, and with both of them coming to terms with Spider-Man. Wish we had something like this in the MCU. Thank you! 🥲
The interaction between Peter and the old lady who insists on being called "missus" was done to absolute perfection 😂😂 chef's kiss. "Knock Yourself Out Mothafucka." God I haven't laughed that hard in so long

I Swear, People Sleep on Morlun. As far as i'm concerned he was the Equivalent to Doomsday for Superman. All you guys that worked on this have done a Excellent job, working with the Voices, Sound-Effects, and Music. You Guys are Aces and i hope you keep working on works Long or short with this kind of quality. Kickass man.

For real, The Last Samurai motion comic I watched on RUclips was great, but ( and I hate to disparage anyone ) the VA for the big bad was very jarring, not a bad actor, but the voice didn’t seem to fit at all, and it def broke the illusion with every line. Great job on this everyone.

Amazing voice acting, the May and Peter conversation had me in tears. Amazing work. Incredible Spider Man story. The music, the sound effects, the voice acting all great. I like that Peter sounds like Peter from the 90s cartoon. Impressive work.
This is awesome. Straczynski's Spidey-run are among the best Marvel comics ever written. The dream is for the movie people to try this style - he's older, the themes and the humor a little more mature, there's some social realism, he has a job or a grown-up and so forth - but I know that ain't gonna happen.
Just one thing; I can't really get with Ezekiel's voice. I always imagined him a little more regal and a little less weird Stan Lee/New York accent funnyman-Gandalf. Anyway, great that you're giving the Straczynski run some spotlight. Keep rocking.

He was just a typical New York guy who used his powers to build an empire.

Last night RUclips recommended this to me. I've been watching similar, and searching for similar works for so many years. How this channel has eluded me for so long, I have no clue but god these are the best. Very much on par with the official adaptations by Graphic Audio 'A Movie In Your Mind'.
Without the funds or time to truly delve into reading these series on a regular basis, this channe is a Godsend to me and all other comic fans in the same boat that stumble upon it.

This was nothing short of amazing. I saw a part of this on tt originally and immediately checked it out. The voice actors were phenomenal and made the story way more emotional for me.

OH GOD I LOVE THIS. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS WAS TRIDE AND TRUE TO THE CHARACTER OF SPIDER MAN. Thank you to everyone responsible for this video. It brought back my love for Spider Man back into overdrive. Its stories like this that show not only the potential Peter and Spiderman but brings out the strength of the human in each character of the story. I loved JMS's run; not just for his compelling stories, but how he wrote the character. He's funny, relatable, and unlike now isn't just a pathetic man child. There's the right balance of the good & bad of a Spider-Man life; that even when things seem hopeless, at the end, it isn't. There is always hope. Now it's got fans calling out all Spider-Man writers for all time if he just stubs his toe...

It's his favourite run from the comics - I remember he used to talk about it; especially the arc where he goes through his past with Doctor Strange.
Years ago he and I took time off and just sat in the living room reading through them. A great memory. Since then I got them digitally; it gets better every time I read it.
The voice acting and the music here, though, really sells how terrifying Morlun is.

This was incredible, from the music score to the voice work. Just simply phenomenal and the conversation betwwen Peter and May at the end was beautifully performed and even brought a couple tears to my eyes. Can't say anything more!
Man, I’ve been waiting on this, listening to it now at work, but once I get off- I’m restarting it, and listen to it through surround sound… incredible work done, the voice actors that have been casted, are amazing- professional quality. I’m blown away, as is, listening to it through ear buds. The sound design is sonically an eargasm- the panning, the reverb, the city noise, the minor detail of distance of the sounds used is impeccable.

I grew up this comic story arc and one of my favorites back then. I always like John Romita Jr's art and his father as well.

I watched this a few days ago but am leaving a comment now; I have been watching this channel on and off but recently have been binging all of the videos. I thought this would be a great story to put on while I did some programming but the profoundness of the story's message really hit me at the core. The ending was both so unexpected yet so beautifully written but the VAs, music and the timings/ways the panels are shown is what really transformed it from beautiful writing to something I wish I could experience listening to again.
Personally, I have fought with a lot of inner demons over the years and have been left to my own devices on figuring them out. While they are ironed out for a great part, I do not feel like I could ever be loved as my wrongdoings are not able to be forgiven and no matter how much I try, it feels like i'm still one bad day away from losing it. I don't know what did it but when I was listening to Aunt May speak to spiderman, it felt like I also was getting closure. I have my own problems and things i'm fighting but i'm not the only one who regrets their own actions in the past while trying to forever make up for it.
In any case, I have been thinking about it for a while and finally am talking to a therapist about it. I also am going to continue fighting the bad away from the good in my mind and do what I can for others. I know this may not be read but really, thank you for making these. I came to watch some entertainment and left reevaluating myself.

Coming from comicstorian and comics explained being a viewer of theirs for 6+ years. This is a amazing channel just wish there were longer motion comic full stories on your channel, but I also see how that could probably be very difficult and time consuming with all the different VAs. Keep up the great work! Earned my sub! Looking forward to more motion comic full stories ;)

This was one of my first trade paperbacks!!! Such a great story and so well acted with beautiful sound design and editing!!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
The thing is, students don't just snap like that. They snap because they get bullied and they don't get the support they need from the people in higher positions that they expect it from. Teachers are supposed to help them learn and grow. Both academically, and emotionally.
Students snap because of no support from their peers, and their teachers and that's what sucks about the education system in public schools.
I should know. I was the bullied kid. And I could have been that kid that snapped.
Small detail it took me a while to recall. Earlier at the school before the shooting Peter let a spider crawl from one hand to the other. Later on Esekiel and Pete have a talk about how some totems commune with the animal they draw power from

Yes I'm clearly sadistic and enjoy seeing Spiderman get humbled his fly by the seat of his pants bullsh*t wasn't saving him here.
Broken ribs, Left speechless after the first hit, His quips not working, his own tactics being used against him and running after the kitchen exploded... That had me bursting out in laughter.

I think this could be an awesome idea for Tom holland’s Spider-Man 4 movie. After fixing the crack in reality in no way home, Morlun or someone else from the inheritors enter his universe and search for him to be feast upon. Peter now alone also has to face scorpion since they hinted him in homecoming. When they meet either Spider-Man and scorpion have to fight him or scorpion and Morlun fight Spider-Man. Then if morlun was unimpressed or annoyed with scorpion he then decides to kill him by absorbing his life energy in a gruesome and graphic way. This will make Peter realize even after fixing his mistake there are still other consequences that will affect him.
You really outdone yourself with this one pat yourself on the back and please bring some more Spider-Man motion comic stories.
