Love it! And thanks so much for the little note of appreciation at the end. Let it not be said I haven't suffered for my art...
You truly outdid yourself on this one Adam. Truly a masterpiece work bro! Fantastic!
Hope to battle you more in the future, Adam. Bravo.
@@GrahamNY Likewise, my friend. Very well done!
Guys, you kick ass! This is a masterpiece!
Yawl did an excellent job. This Russian creates nothing but Top Quality content in every aspect. Much love from TN
Tim Drake VOA here! I am so proud to have been a part of this, thank you all so much for your kindness!
You did a fantastic job on this bro! Thank you once again 🤙
Great job on Tim Drake. You did really well.
Well done, Splendid work! Seriously!
Good job who did joker. And how did you get set up to do this?
Great work my friend… continue blessing us with your gift
Whoever’s voicing the joker is doing a great job.😺
Cicero
Indeed
The acting for Joker is impeccable!
It’s Mark Hamill
@@granthopkins6757Was this an attempt at a joke, bc it wasn’t funny
One human being voiced Joker, Gordon, and Alfred?!? Talk about giving that man a raise.
Death of the Family would make a great DC horror movie
Yep that's the idea, Scott snyder , the guy who wrote it and this batman run got his starting horror comics.
Batman and the Bat family work well in the horror genre
It would, but it's WAY too grim to ever actually happen.
I'm gonna be honest, this was the most terrifying version of joker even to this day, and with that said you guys did an absolute wonderful job putting this together.
Fact that Harley even didn’t want nothing to do with him, and was even more free than usual really told you that things are about to go down
What I like about you guys’s comic dubs is you don’t just do iconic impressions like Kevin Conroy/mark Hamill you make the characters your own and give them original performances.
The greatest trick the Joker ever pulled, was making Batman think his death would be a loss for Batman.
He never made him think that tho.
These have the blessed energy of old radio shows updated for a modern world, and I love them to bits. Fantastic work from all the performers and whomever it was that picked out such excellent sound effects and mixing.
Glad you enjoyed it bro🤙
Holy crap this joker is literally giving me chills. The intro is already incredible. The sounds of the procedure. I'll never unhear that painful laugh
One human being voiced Joker, Gordon, and Alfred?!? Talk about giving that man a raise.
WHO voiced joker

Batman & the joker’s voice are so good
Adam McLaughlin just KILLED here! So versatile! Not only nailed Joker's voice, accent and entonation perfectly, also Gordon sounds exactly as I imagined he should, and Alfred as well!
Awesome job! Just amazing!
Adam is worth three times his weight in gold
Of course he killed it as the Joker. Laugh is in his name.
To Graham Rowat, you do the late Kevin Conroy proud brother. You bring it to life in a way I never thought possible again. Just great. Bat-tastic!
Appreciate it.
OMG! Pardon me for feeling like a fanboy, but wow. But really, you do sound professional in your voicework.
Joker ordering the guards to carry the horse was terrifyingly hilarious.
57:20 like this whole conversation is amazing to me knowing how it ends like Bruce is tryna tell them like JOKER doesn’t give af who we are he’s just trying to fuck with you
The voice acting in this is simply top notch. Both batman and joker sound almost just as good as kevin conroy and hamill's version, while having their own unique touch
I had no idea there was such a thing. I am absolutely unloved with this. Fantastic job, just fantastic!
Ran across this kinda by accident at midnight.. started it and didnt stop. Couldnt stop. I read this when it came out but seeing it brought to.. life .. like this was more than I could ever have imagined. This ... I have no words but praise... Snyder and Capullo had a fantastic run but the effort put into the voice-work here was a marriage made in Heaven. I truly loved this. THANK YOU.
Thanks bro you should check out our adaptation of Court of owls
It’s with the same cast🤙
@@therussiancomicbookgeek I subscribed and it is definitely next on my list... I should get some sleep... I need to get up for work in 4 hours lol.

literally one of the best comic dubs I've ever seen. Much love to the cast.
I wonder when Joker crossed the line into full-on Gacy-esque serial killer.
Poor Batman, having to come to terms with the fact that his worst enemy is in love with him in some weird, twisted way.
I'm glad you made this. It's good as a work of art in its own right, and it's helping me catch up on all the major storylines.
I love that they referenced the man who laughs comic with joker recreating his previous crimes with Batman fighting the joker at the reservoir.
The Joker voice actor did a phenomenal job!
I agree
Love the touch with the music and the constant buzzing of the fly whenever Joker was on screen, really added to the creeped factor of the whole story.
The guy that is voicing batman his voice is very similar to the late Kevin Conroy
I love joker's voice his voice actor did such an amazing job ❤🎉
All the voice actors are great but damn. The guy voicing Nightwing sounds like the real deal! Bravo guys. Bravo. This channel is freaking awesome!
This comic and the voice acting was absolutely amazing! Whoever voiced joker absolutely nailed that role. I'd love to see this with the joker endgame
The amount of work it takes to make something this good is astounding. Kudos to everyone involved.
Everyone who worked on this project should be incredibly proud, the voice actors also done an amazing job especially whoever is voicing joker. Can’t wait to see what comes next
The classic impact sound-effect at 55:13 was something I never knew I needed
You should watch our court of owls adaptation 🤣
Kevin and Mark would be so proud of these performances. That Joker is INCREDIBLE.
I agree
Adam McLaughlin did an amazing job as the Joker. The fact that he did two other characters on top of that is even more insane. That's no insult to the other VAs either, everyone did a stellar job.
PLEASE keep doing what you're doing! These have got to be the best motion comic stories I've heard in a long time. The voice acting, the sound fx, the entire production, absolutely top notch. This made me feel all the emotions I needed to feel throughout the story. The voices of batman and the joker omg! 🔥
I agree, super good. Hope you guys blow up
This can easy pass comicstorian or comic explain subscribers number if he keeps on presenting same kind video. I know it cost alot to pay actors
Agreed
This was amazing. I'll never forget this story and the voice acting is so good.
When Joker was making Harley think he wanted to remove her face, just hearing it I really believed it. Amazing project man! The cast was great. The editing, the audio. Everything…The voicing for Joker and Batman were so on point! It’s as if hearing the same guys who do the real DC animation releases. Bravo to everyone involved!! 👏
PS When you blow up remember you already got a designer bro!! 😂
We need this in live action, horror/thriller/action genre and DONE FUCKING RIGHT. Thank you for all your hardwork, been a big fan since i first stumbled upon your channel :)
Man this joker is a menace and this production only elevates it.
Well done! This turned out fantastic. So happy to have lended a voice and been apart of this masterpiece!
You did a fantastic job as always Kay
Thank you once again for lending your talents to my little projects
Your a legend 🤙
No, you! It was fun! Can’t wait for whatever’s next 🫡
@@KhrystineVO 🫡Roger! Roger!
I’ll probably have something for you soon
Great job, Khrystine. Bravo.
Are you sure? I could have sworn I heard lines by you.
what a rollercoaster of emotions...
This was worth every second of the wait and every penny of donation. Graham Rowat and Evan Prince have wonderful chemistry. And the scene with Joker and Harley sent terrible chills down my spine - the actors, the dingy atmosphere; you've elevated the medium, RCBG, and it's as simple as that.
I think I might cry the voice acting was just out of this world I felt I was watching a movie masterpiece I love it
Bro i hope you know you’re quite literally the best motion comic book RUclipsr out there
It’s not even close, he’s the best out rn
Most horrifying thing about the jokers character and philosophy is when someone just gives up on the safety and fragility of a normal life, no more bending to the rules of society and it's laws. Its just doing your own will whether it's whatever you want or just breaking people's mentality to the point they see it too... What you've always seen.. society's true face.
If DC would take a story like this and turned into movies, especially with all the love and dedication that went into this, then DC doesn’t need to imitate Marvel. Good job, I not once compared this Joker to Mark Hamill’s.
That SOUND EFFECT into the water! 🌊 🌊
I enjoyed this more than any superhero movie I have seen in the past 5 or so years. Outstanding voice and sound effects.
Mind blowing what has happened to real writers real writing? Simple amazing. Better than anything on the big screen for the past 10 years.
Nightwing sounds straight out of The Animated Series. Like almost exactly like Dick Grayson. Damn good job.
Excellent work. Top notch voices, great sound effects. So much life breathed into the story to make it pop out of the pages. Thank you so much for your work. This is one of the best Batman arcs I’ve read. Shame it’s fewer and far between to get stories this good these days.
This gave me a new level of fondness for the joker.
Dick was right when he said "Let them in Bruce, they can help!" and batty just denies telling the rest of the family that Alfred was kidnapped. it must be hard trying to face such evil and always wanting to face it alone. it always take a peg down for bats to realize he needs to rely on the family more.
this was such a great story and the voice actors did a wonderful job! thank you
Bloody Awesome ComicBook movie! Stellar voice acting and superb casting, of course the score and sound effects are top notch too! Which is what makes it so damn good! I can watch these all day and often do!
This voice acting and editing is on another level. Wow!
Whoever voiced Joker did Phenomenal! It’s all phenomenal! This is amazing. Stunning work all of you, you should be proud.
Every once in a while, a random video pops up on my recommend list, leading me to a YT channel that I never knew I needed to subscribe.
This is now currently my favorite video on youtube, amazing work! The acting and sound were phenomenal, it actually felt like I was in the asylum, gave me chills.
This was great. Adam really showed his range as Joker, Gordon and Alfred.
Joker: That pretty face of yours. It's going to have to go.
Also Joker: Oh Harley. When did I ever say I found you beautiful?
Well technically he still didn’t call her beautiful so he kinda told the truth
Holy crap, I’m literally shaking after watching this. You did great there, my friend.
Mr Graham Rowat you sir are up there with the best bat voices i really believe that
You guys did the best voice acting and sound effects I've seen out of all the motion comic stories. It's amazing! Top-notch work, unparalleled in this genre. I've been thru all of your DC stories so far, and I look forward to seeing more, if possible. More Batman, more Joker! I appreciate the great work you and your team do, thank you!
In an era of AI voice work, glad you're out here workin' with rad voice actors fighting the good fight and doin' good art.
55:15 excellent touch, the Adam west Batman theme. Adorable.
The guy that does Moon Knight's voice (and so many others) does a great job as Joker.
As well as everyone else and the new actors.
Great job, guys.
Every since I was young, I always was a comic book fanatic and I always wanted to experience them in this way. My dreams have come true 💯💯💯💯👍👍👍👍
Thank you🥲
Dude! I can't imagine the amount of hours it takes to make a true masterpiece like this!!! Absolutely OUTSTANDING!!! Your productions are far better than the motion comics that Warner put out!!!
Brilliantly done !!! I missed it yesterday, thanks for going again !!! I love this story !!!
My god, the quality of this is unbelievable, this deserves 100x this many views.
Shear it around 🤙
Voice work is incredible. Thanks for a fun portion of my work day
More excited for this than I am most movies. I will honestly be surprised if you don't end up working for DC, Marvel or Disney.
Every character is perfectly voiced its spectacular keep up the amazing work!!
1:22:05 This is Joker in peak form, showing what a menace he truly is.
Please keep doing these, it’s the only way I’ll watch Batman comics!
Great work on this motion comic. Music, VO, direction you guys hit the triple crown with this.
I hope to see more great storylines from both DC and Marvel done in the form of motion VO comics.
This was almost too dark for me. Joker was terrifying. The team who puts this together really brings this to life
Really great comic. I loved the person you got for the joker as I felt he nailed the voice for him. Overall, you all did a great job on this project.
Just discovered motion comics. Truly great work. Thank you for the content.
Amazing work for all involved!! This one is now a personal favorite of mine, and I will always love the part where Adam as the Joker called the Bat Family a bunch of shitheads. Imagine someone stalking every aspect of your life and your loved ones then being like: "Damn, you all just suck!" 🤣
It makes sense he would say that I mean who has a family and that's a madman like this tortured them and still live that does suck
lol... I'm so glad that choice paid off! I was on the fence for a while about what word the Joker was saying in place of the grawlix we had in the comic. In the end, "shitheads" just seemed like the best fit.
Kind of funny that, as dark and violent as this comic was, someone still felt the need to censor out the swears.
@@Vox-Multis - You did a fantastic job! And speaking of censorship, I believe the only thing that could have made this motion comic better would have been to use the uncensored version of the story, aka the one from the original issues, and not the trade paperback that you guys used.
There's lot of stuff that has been removed, apparently by Scott Snyder himself most of it from Joker's dialogue (who was way more flirtatious toward Batman in the original, his dialogue was full of innuendos), and the original had references to Zero Year and the Court of Owls...
Snyder talked about it with Kevin Smith in an episode of *"Fatman on Batman"* .
Since Joker being in love with Batman is such an important aspect of his personality in this storyline, it really does a disservice to the story to change the way Joker talks to him, IMHO.
Only thing I prefer in the version you used if Dick Grayson at the end, saying that they didn't even know Joker was there with them in the dark.
In the original, he just says that it doesn't matter, and he'll see Bruce around.
Anyway, you did a wonderful job... aside from Heath Ledger, which other versions of the Clown Prince of Crime did you take inspiration from? There were a few times where I thought I recognized some Jérôme from the show *Gotham* (played by Cameron Monaghan), but I don't know if it's just me hearing what I want to hear...
Keep up the good work!
@@randallflagg3700 Thanks so much! I'm not familiar with the original, but it did feel appropriate in this one to play up the "Joker is in love with Batman" angle. Especially at the end - I felt like he was experiencing genuine heartbreak after the "breakup" scene and really wanted to convey a sense of hurt and betrayal in the aftermath of that.
As for inspirations, I certainly can't deny the influence of Mark Hamill's Joker. Beyond that, it's hard to say. I haven't seen much of Gotham yet (been meaning to get around to that one) - I think I saw one episode with Jérôme, but I don't really remember it very well, so I can't say I took much inspiration there, at least on a conscious level. I think my Joker just kind of developed organically, taking a lot of what I loved most about Hamill's version as a rough framework and building outward from there based on what I thought felt right - keeping front and center that sense of demented theatricality coupled with a seething disdain for society at large and a longing to lay the universe bare as the joke it really is.
@@Vox-Multis - Thanks a lot for your reply, I had completely missed it!
I did recognize the Mark Hamill in there, but I also kept picturing Ledger's Joker talking everytime I took my eyes off the screen... great job once again!
And I agree that for this particular version of the Joker, who was clearly in a "lover" dynamic with Batman, the original *Death of the Family* in which he calls Batman "darling" and other stuff like that all the time, was IMHO a better fit compared to the trade paperback edition that you guys used for this video.
(where Joker's lines are much tamer)
But hey, there's not wrong version of this story, both "cuts" are good, but I've always thought that when you read *Batman: Endgame* after that one, the original dialogue of DOTA allowed a better contrast between love and hate.
*DOTA* is about Joker's love for Batman, and wanting to keep dancing with him forever even if he has to kill the batfamily
*Endgam*e is about hatred, Joker was spurned and now he's out for blood, ready to kill him, burn Gotham and move on.
Ok, that's enough ranting for today, keep up the good work, I've subscribed to your channel so I'll keep an eye out for any new DC projects with which you might be involved with.
Cheers from France!
With out a doubt the best voice actors EVER especially the Joker!
Amazing work for everybody involved. Wish I was there live but oh well. I want this story to be animated and this is probably the closest thing we're gonna get so yay 💙.
Just because he's sick doesn't mean he isn't evil. Some sick people are evil. Some, but not all.
Hands down all of you the whole time I had feeling like I watch high budget movie not a motion comic video
The production levels are on another planet!
52:09. This story is why joker is scary as hell.
Just another fly on the wall... once again fantastic VO work to each and everyone involved in this macabre comic come to life!
the joker from this story is probably one of the absolute BEST portrayals of the character ever, PURE EVIL
i really hope we see this comic adapted either in live action or animated some day
OMG!!! Amazing!!! Best documentary ever! DR DOOM has been my favorite hero/villain ever!!!
This was amazing man, you really are doing great work
This joker is literally giving me the chills
Top notch sound design, motion comics at its finest ! Great job !
Yo, round of applause for that Joker VA 👏

This is better than watching the movies. The voice actors and the music choices make this absolutely riveting and eye-catching.
