Turned out to be a great walk and nice to see the weather getting better and better. Loved the views you got and the shadows over the Moors - what a view indeed! Totally agree, it's not all about the miles you do, it's the enjoyment you get from the walk. I would not enjoy £5.50 a pint mind😳. Cheers Alan

Wow, what a great walk! With those views too 👍 Mount Famine, what a name...bet it might relate maybe to poor soil type for crops? Certainly are so many beautiful parts of the world, and many right in our own backyards. Thanks so much for sharing and hope you are enjoying a marvelous weekend!

Lovely walk Steve. I don’t think I’ve walked Mount Famine and South Head before. I’m looking for some inspiration for a walk to take my wife on tomorrow. This could be the one so perfect timing with your video 👍

Another belter of a walk, Steve! Agree with you about the views👍 Not sure when you filmed this, but we did Mount Famine yesterday (Sat 29th). Just skirted behind Peep o' Day and down to Hayfield due to the lure of the beer garden 😁 I believe Mount Famine relates to how poor the land is to farm. ie you'd probably starve! Not sure how true that is though. Great vid👍 All the best!

Love them kind of walks steve on the single track over hard core farming country. Some nice hills there enough to route you to the spot for a break or two. 7 miles? Quality though. Mark

Hi Steve and that’s a lovely walk your doing. Pretty flowers, shame about the music. Nice to see Kinder Scout, shame about the music. Karen certainly leads the way in this film and a great effort she makes. Is that a new hat Steve, suits you Sir. Three Ethel’s can’t be bad, unlike the music. Yes a lovely walk that and five pound fifty a pint, you’ve certainly got it good up north, eight pound twenty a pint down south! Yes I’m coming along with you tomorrow. Cheers Mike.

£8.20 ????no wonder you feel so depressed...you are right about the music, annoying isnt it...glad you are coming up to the NYMoors...meet you at Claybank at 9.30.
