We once set out from Hawes and the rain started, so we got to Simonstone Hall, went in for coffee waiting for the rain to stop. It didn't - so we gave the walk up as a bad job and went back to Hawes. We are lightweights. Lovely video as always.
Enjoying this hike, great videos. I fancy doing it as have done a few long distance walks and spend a lot of time in this area. Who's the music by you play? Sounds like Carmello Lugeri?
Lovely part of the world...but then we all know that the Dales are unbeatable...great video Carrie.
Thanks Steven :D
Well done Carrie despite the rain looking forward to part 4 of your beautiful walk 😊🥾
Thanks, next one will be on Friday :D
Looks so lovely! It seems that it's definitely a route worth doing! Even in the rain! Great video 😊
Hi Jenny, it is a lovely route although a sunny day would make it even better. The waterfall at Mill Gill is amazing :D
Such a beautiful and unique scenery my friend! Shots are amazing!

Hi David, it was a wet day to be sure! Never been in the hall- what's it like?
@@carriehikes Nice for a coffee ☕, and lovely on a sunny day to sit in the grounds looking over the dale.

I can highly recommend the Herriot Way. The music I use in this video is all from the youtube audiolibrary.
