      You are 100% correct. There's various factors that create a mature athletic player (parents, support network, the right mentors, lifestyle balance) and Nadal has it all.

    Love seeing his video. The 2003 USOpen was the 6th consecutive one I attended, and I went to Grandstand to see one of my favorites, Moroccan Younes El Aynoui -- and was introduced to a future GREAT.

      StarRayet He is a more efficient mover now, but he has a lot of miles on those legs, so It is a fact that his overall speed is going to be slower.

Being fast for few points or games or set..or just running fast is thing, get there to not only be able touch the ball but make a winner out of it..for 15 years..and had more injuries than Fed+ Murray + Nole together..and Still winning slams. Being fast when you are in the 20’s like de minaur is not a big deal honestly..Nole is more flexible than ultra fast 💨 like Rafa..And Gael who I like a lot, is Allways out of gas after 1 set and some games..

    His serve has really improved, used to be very vulnerable. Maybe because he's not a natural lefty but he really improved it over the years.

    1:39 this point sums up Rafa Nadal completely. He just doesn't give up...he tries till the very end...i mean 8/10 plauers would just leave this point and consider it lost but not Rafa. There's no guarantee that he'd win the point after all that effort but he doesn't care.

      Faut déjà pouvoir trouver son revers, sur son service c'est quasiment impossible parce qu'il sert le plomb et se décale très bien, et puis comme vous avez dit quel coup droit. Enfin, je peux pas dire qu'il n'a pas de revers parce qu'à ce niveau c'est impossible. Il se débrouille pas trop.mal en revers, des fois il envoie même des passings et bloque pas mal des fois en retour, mais surtout il a un bon slice qui lui permet de bien défendre et neutraliser l'adversaire. N'oublions pas sa bonne lecture du jeu et sa combativité.

    Old Nadal needs to learn from young Nadal how to end points quickly. He just keeps rallying till Djokovic hits winners. Also taking to 3 sets and making matches very long. He needs to be strategic to avoid injuries playing for long time.
