Fear is our good friend. Consult the fear. Sit down with fear and talk. Thank the fear, and ask fear if it is real and helping right now. Take the fear by the hand as claire weekes said. Take that fear along on the journey.

“Who’s this Dan guy hanging out in his backyard?” lol. Love the cardinal singing in the background. I’m working on not believing my negative thoughts. I just walked partway up my hilly driveway and started hurting and told my brain ok that 40 feet of walking uphill did not hurt me - knock it off. And it went away! 😊

Sometimes we have to challenge our fearful thinking. Stress triggered my anxiety. I'm starting to get better at challenging my false beliefs. Not easy, but in time my mind will start to believe my fearful thinking is bs.

I sometimes see the thoughts like a train, I can get on or Not. I am very aware of my thoughts and ask Is this true, is this helpful and how do I feel when I think this thought. It really helps me. Thanks Dan another inspiring video. Have a lovely day Dan and all on this channel. 🥰

Hi Dan. Thank you, this is exactly what I needed to hear. I’m having this but for emotions, feeling like I need to cry or some other emotion . But I know now that is often just a fear based response. I feel the fear in there too. I’ve been learning not to believe my emotions all the time, and try to shift my focus/just let them be there. Making great progress

Feel like a pit of snakes is going to drag me under. Just cant calm my system at all anymore so afraid of dying now😢Every thought and emotion keeps me in stress hormones dump over and over, i am so scared as alone so much living in fear.

If you haven't gone through it yet, go through my fast start playlist. DansFastStart.com - watch, take notes, implement, repeat. It's all about the brain perceiving danger. Thus, the solution is teaching the brain we are not sick.

This is a very isolating lonely issue TMS. I’m supposed to be at a funeral today but the 2 hour drive and 104 degree weather got me so anxious just thinking about getting ready. I’m not making any crazy excuse either but for the first time being brutally honest with the host.

24 hrs of hot/cold body temperature. Swollen joints etc. gonna give myself a break, I actually think it's a virus and not PDP although things been difficult. I'll wait and see how and when pain is showing, then try the assessment again. Pain All the time, at the moment. Anyhow I did attend my writing course yesterday and even read a piece of my work out! I think I get anxiety hangover after doing something outside my comfort zone 🤔. Somehow got out in my car, albeit a short ride around the park as my ankles/knees are inflamed and walking a bit difficult. Gonna use critical thinking. Thanks for the video 🙏

Good description 'anxiety hangover' ! I believe in it too - all the excess adrenaline/cortisol still in the system after you've experienced some sort of anxiety ... Hope everything calms for you soon.... ❤

My stomach has been so tense and bloated and I am not digesting my food, the acid reflux was so bad I just throw up acid which burned my throat and some chicken. - It was way too painful this week - I even thought maybe I need to go to the emergency room but I realized that they are not going to be able to help me and that is just going to cause more trauma - Instead II took hot salt baths, and slept for 2 days - I decided to fast for four days just to empty out my stomach and bowels - what is interesting is that now there is no food in my stomach - I can feel the tense muscles in the stomarch are still there and the bloating is still there and it is very difficult to walk with such bloating - I need to relax the stomach muscles but I do not know how - I know that it is perceived danger and anxiety - so I am trying to talk to myself telling myself I am safe but it wasn't until the superintendent came over to install my air conditioner and have a conversation with me (he is a very cheerful upbeat guy) that I started to relax - I suffer from a great deal of lonliness and isolation. This week was so scary painful that I thought maybe I will never make it out of this TMS - but I watched one of Dan's success videos and I felt more hopeful.

I think credibility by popular opinion has let most of us down Dan. If our general sense of credibility was usually correct we probably wouldn’t have ever ended up here listening to you. I’ve found that the “stranger on the internet” has unfortunately been correct more often than they ever should be in this context.
