I was thinking about our planet yesterday and how long we have been on this earth when it comes to modern medicine. It has only been maybe 100 years. When my grandparents were growing-up they did not have a test for this or that like they do today. In the last 40 years is when all these tests started to really happen, like colonoscopies and countless others. Yes, we have come a long way with preventative medicine, but at the same time it has put fear into people and made them run to the doctors more now than ever. My Great Aunt never went to the doctor and lived a wonderful 90 years. I want to be more like her.

      Great points Mollie!
I have lots of elder people in my little village here and they all say , when they reached 80 they surrendered and stopped fearing life, health, death..
They just live less stressed now!
We have the knowledge to do this 20 years prior, so let’s start doing that too!
      Have a great day❤

Yep - fear is rampant in medicine and media. Eat good food. Move. Go to doctors only for significant emergencies.

Yep! They cause more problems then they help. Medical malpractice, and properly prescribed medication (yes, PROPERLY) are the 3rd leading cause of death behind cancer and heart disease. Also, very preventable for the most part. There are a lot of doctors and smart people who use the same principles, even when it comes to serious illnesses. I am a person of faith, and Proverbs 23:7: says “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” Yeshua (Jesus) said that whatever you believe and ask for in prayer, if you don’t waiver, you’ll have whatever you say. We have to be firm in what we believe.

Couldn't agree more, doctors also used to acknowledge how much fear played a role in the creation of symptoms and would often prescribe placebos telling the patient not to worry and that the pills (which were basically just sugar) would cure them, most of the time that's exactly what happened.

I then managed pain on and off for a about 10 days following Dan’s recommendations. I am now completely pain free for a week. I feel amazing. Dan, I cannot thank you enough for what you have done for me and what you are doing here for everyone. I bow to you Sir!

Thank you for your great videos! I've been a student of Dr Sarno for over 15 years now. And just recently I had a new type of pain show up (symptom imperative) in my shoulders and neck. It was so intense and debilitating that I thought I would end up in the ER. I coudn't move my neck and the spasms were making me cry. :( But I quickly got on it with my own brain coaching and in 48 hours it is gone completely! This TMS journey is for the long haul , not a quick fix type of healing story. I continually check in with myself, and become aware of when my stress levels get high, when my fears surface and I consistently practice my stress management tools. The best techniques that have helped me heal and stay pain free are: breathwork practice, a TMS meditation I created for myself, and self talk and visualization practice to retrain and reprocess my pain. Somatic tracking also has been super effective as well! I wish everyone healing success and recovery from any chronic pain! Love

I’m soooo bad about saying, “the doctors missed something.” I’ve had 12 MRI’s, countless blood work, 3 EMG’s, & so many other tests. I can barely walk, I’m dizzy 24/7. I can’t even leave my house hardly & I’m convinced they missed something. I keep thinking my herniated cervical disk is definitely causing some of the upper body issues I have. I really needed to see this video. Everything that was said is totally me. I’m always saying, “well I’ve been doing some strengthening exercises for a year and haven’t gotten better so what’s the point.” I need to just engrave positivity into my brain bc I’m so bad about being negative. 😩

Alex, come to remember, I dealt with really gnarly vocal cord pain a couple of years ago after some singing lessons. It got so intense, I first got a sharp pain come through, then a crackly voice + dull pain, and eventually I was so concerned that I stopped speaking altogether as the pain kept ramping up.
Long story short, I took steroids, rested, and did rehab to no avail... I spent about a month and a half barely speaking until I went to the ENT who examined my cords and informed me they barely looked inflamed and that I was fine. Over the course of three days, I recovered my speaking voice fully (though I admit I had to work through the fear of singing).

DansFastStart.com - watch, take notes, implement, repeat.
The assessments on this page will tell you if your brain is creating symptoms based on the perception of danger or if it's your body.

Let's be clear. A high test means it IS Perceived Danger Pain.
The presence or intensity of the pain is NOT a reliable indicator of the condition of the body. It is a VERY reliable indicator of the brain perceiving danger. The more doubt and fear you have, the more danger the brain perceives. Thus higher symptoms.

For your mate: get him to get a dog as a companion, there are even therapy dogs. If he is responsible and can take good care of a dog, I think a dog would really help him and bring some joy and warmth to his life, a dog would also help him walk about outside and in the nature because he would need to walk the dog daily. But if can't take good care and be committed to a dog for ever (meaning animals are in need of a forever home) , then it's no to this option. I hope you doing ok and it's nice that you care about your mate too.

Can a meniscus tear and ganglion showing also be TMS pain?

    • @1STBUCKLEY
      @1STBUCKLEY Год назад +1

My partner been told his meniscus is severely torn, in a queue for specialist clinic. I noticed his mental health was at rock bottom when this showed up. Five weeks on, he is training to strengthen his whole body! Weights etc. Doing long walks etc. Ladders not do able without pain. He is a carpenter and in his 60s. Not saying he won't need surgery but he was told five years ago he needs knee replacement (no cartilage left)but is still cycling etc

Dan i think this has a small misleading part sometimes. The thing is, this applies to any person that is stressed about something. But sometimes we do have some real issue, that is not exactly a normal abnormality, in the sense that it shouldn t be there and it is indeed causing symptons. That can get one scared, and as a consequence promote stress and more symptons out of stress... So it seems that sometimes its not about the mind inventing stories.... So the real problem is when the doctor doesn t say everything is fine. So we become scared to go back to a normal life because we do have an issue going on... Sometimes it doesn t seem to be "false".

Take the pain test. If it says TMS, then your brains perception of danger is the ONLY thing going on. Not some mystery physical problem. YourPainTest.com
You can also answer the questions on the FIT assessment here: www.PainFreeYou.com/start. Even answering ONE "yes" indicates your body is not the problem.
What's your pain test score? How many "yes" answers do you have on the FIT assessment?

@@PainFreeYou I got 48/50 and def a lot of yes answers on fit test. Thank you. Your videos have helped me so much. I watch every morning and remember them throughout the day. I’m def making progress but also guilty of the, “I should be better already” mindset. I have to remember I thought myself into this state over a few years and I won’t be cured overnight or in a week etc. Thank you so much.

I don't recommend that. Your brain is not doing anything TO you. Your brains primary goal is keeping you safe and alive. Pain is a warning signal to a perceived danger. The brain is working perfectly. It's just operating on misinformation and fear. Correct the misinformation with accurate knowledge so you can lower the fear and you end up TEACHING the brain to turn off the pain.
