I miss Angela. I still support the band though. Still sounds great and remember that Alyssa was picked by Amott and Angela. And Angela is still the manager of Arch Enemy.
I did not know that and I've been a fan of Arch Enemy for a long time.
It is OK to prefer Angela or Alyssa, but they are both amazing vocalists!

This song is what got me into this band in the first place. Absolutely astonishing how Angela Gossow managed to put many male death growlers to shame with just her voice.
My favorite song by them. It just grooved so good. Angela was such a fucking knockout!
I'm sorry to offend anyone with this, but I'd take this old Arch Enemy over the one with Alyssa anyday. Angela's growls are just far superior to Alyssa's (but that's my opinion :P)
If you don't know : first, her name is Alissa not Alyssa, then if you know even a little about Alissa, she got inspired of Angela's growls to do her own growls... So, of course Angela is more experienced than Alissa but War Eternal is a fucking good album anyway!!

That's a fact, it's not a matter of opinion, there were plenty of Death, Black or Thrash metal bands that were more brutal than Arch Enemy, even 10 years earlier. I love Arch Enemy, but it's not the most brutal thing, it's even far from being "brutal" IMO
