Yes, a guild would be nice, I've been looking for a PvP guild and a discord could be cool, I've played Rev for a while but anet seems to go back and forth on nerfing this class, if you need to cap a guild hall I would be happy to join you.

I am in a bunch of guilds and never do anything with them. I think I can’t make the time commitments I had when I was younger playing WoW. GW2 is special in that PUGs can do a lot of content. I’d join your guild, though, just to help out with anything people need.

Hey glad you're enjoying! I'd honestly recommend playing around with them all and seeing which feels right for you. Everyone seems to have their favourites. Vindicator is the most complex but also the strongest rev spec. It typically is only played as a power build though. Herald is less complex but not quite as strong as vindi. It has the flexibility to be played as power or condi. It is my personal favourite. Renegade is probably the least complex to play, but has the lowest skill ceiling. It does give amazing boons to its allies though and can be played as power or condi. Jump into the PVP lobby and try them all out. See which appeals most to you. And if you have any questions or would like some build help / suggestions feel free to hit me up any time.
Could you please make a new player Rev PVP guide in the future? A guide that talks about all the elite specializations, weapons, weapon combos and how to face (or avoid :p) certain classes and biggest of all *how to stay alive while being offensive enough to win* also if you do it please keep it new player friendly, most guides out there assume people know everything about gearing maps, pvp game modes, staying alive, counters and metas, you get the idea :p ... that would be an insane video from someone like you, and it would help lots of new and returning players like myself 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

11:48 something I like to do that gets me a lot of kills is start the animation for my attacks mid dodge, so that it lands just as their dodge ends. For instance if you use sword 4 or 5 here that'd get some nice damage and get the kill. That CC would not have been able to get off before your hit. People rarely double dodge and if they do they're completely out of dodges, getting them killed aswel, so this is a pretty consistent way to get kills for me. One thing strong players do is dodge in a direction where it's difficult to pull this off. Like if the ranger had gone the other way. I would join your guild but alas I'm in EU
@@tchevensky7802 That can certainly work! You'll have an insane level of damage. And vindicator would complement that more than herald would because of its higher damage modifiers. Try it out!
Thank you! The GS is a great all-rounder weapon. You can definitely take it in place of dual swords for extra sustain, or in place of staff if you feel like going all in on damage.

I know these talent choices have always been a part of Herald spvp meta but i just can't rationalize using Thrill of combat or Song of the mists. Thrill of combat is at most ~68 healing a second, which is very much neglectable and taking Song of the mists forces you into a precision heavy rune, losing out on an insane amount of ferocity/power (scholar) in the process.
Thrill of combat is nice because if you don't take it you'll have no battle scars at all. The fact that they add both healing and damage to your build makes them hard to pass up. The extra might trait is hit or miss because might can be ripped / corrupted. And the fury trait is kinda negligible on herald. Song of the mists is an awesome trait. The hit on legend swap and the boons are awesome. Especially swapping into assassin for quickness secures so many kills its insane. You can make changes for personal preference. But there's a good reason top revs playing salv vindi are taking thrill of combat (battle scars), and brutality (quickness).
@@homage3 I mainly play wvw so its a tad different, but even when i run vindicator, i usually go for invocation+devastation with assassins presence because of the fury uptime and hydromancy burst on shiro port. Seems like there has always been a little disconnect between wvw and spvp power rev builds.^^ But its a strange concept to me not to go for fury

You can definitely use this in WVW! It's actually much stronger in WVW than in PVP. I recommend using marauder and berserker gear. Good luck!
