I went the reverse, as i felt like pvp got very stale, and i retired around the time stronghold released, so it's nice to see your videos, as for the most part people in wvw are pretty nice, compared to pvp.

I tried this build in 10 matches yesterday, with a small difference of not being able to equip a shield. Surprisingly I was the top DPS of my team in 8 of them. My first 10 matches ended up in a 50% win rate. I was 80% of the time on my short bow. Thank you for the guide!

We need some more wvw content 😊 check out the other maps and maybe try roaming on EBG. Maybe show your build briefly or provide a link to the build editor in the description. Love the commentary!

You've restored my faith that pvp is not totally broken! It used to be one of my favorite game modes before moving to wvw. I'm no build crafter, but I've thought core rev might have some potential with all of the new weapon options.

Hey man, i've started playing like two weeks ago and your channel really got me into pvp, i've started with mesmer as my first class and was having a blast with the power mirage build, but now i'm going for some revenant action to switch things up a bit and learn other professions, your videos are always incredibly helpful, thanks a lot! Is condi herald not really a thing? I'll probably go for power herald, but would love to know if condi also works

I will watch the video in the car so maybe you answer this in the video, but, how is the Spear on Revenant? I assume it is a condi/hybrid weapon giving the amount of torment it produces.

Glad to see you dabbling with renegade! One thing to suggest- renegade is *awesome* for zerging in WvW. Coalescence on top of the ground targeted AoEs gives you a ton of stuff to fling in the general direction of the opposing zerg.

13:10 agreed pvp is definitely nowhere near as toxic as wvw. yeah people get salty in ranked but some wvwers are actually out there simply to grief and troll. I’ve was WvWing since release but eventually moved completely to pvp in like 2016-2017. It’s just an inherently better competitive experience. No hiding in towers, or calling your guild to come bail you out. Just skill and the results of the match.

Condi builds are currently meta in WvW. Everyone is more tanky. Certian places in WvW are known for duels, mainly south camp on blue and green borderlands.

I think pvpers are just bétter at flaming (& resulting in more toxicity) because they are often more skilled (and have more focussed playtime as opposed to being high and not really thinking/improving gameplay). That is probably why WvW seems milder, because the experience is both present in skill and flaming toxicity. It's usually the amatures that don't know how to insult properly and politely!

You talking about toxicity and then you do the cow ass finisher on the ranger hahaha hilarious. What you gotta take in mind is that differently than in pvp, people are not aleays looking for an engage. The mesmer was just doing a camp capture probably for daily achiev and the ranger was doing a sentry cap (also a daily achiev). So get the picture: youre on an empty mapavoiding big fights you wanna get your dailies before you go play zergs or havocs, and then a random guy comes to bother you on a build that ooc's (ooc is very badly regarded in wvw, it is something noob pk players do and everyone hates them) so it isnt strange they hate on you. I will put it in pvp terms for you: you were to them the same as fixated pvper that doesnt care about the match and just goes for you even if he throws the game, and goes as far as to stay in your spawn to wait for you. My advice: only duel people that engage first, those above silver rank, those not lone capping, and/or those that you ask for a fight (/bow)

You deserve a lot more views. Your content is better than many big channels out there and on par with the top ones. I like your approach of focusing on one class you enjoy and getting laser focused on it. We have many shotgun approach channels already. You make me want to play rev. There's no way of watching your videos and thinking you are not having a blast and not wanting to experience the same. Jobs defended the creation of desire, rather than simply selling solutions. And I mean it in the best way. Genuine desire, not a fabricated one. Maybe that's a path for success not many take? It does not mean you should not cover other classes. But we know, if we want in depth coverage of whatever you decided to focus on, we can find it here. RUclips is an entertainment industry. And I wish you will be successful and rewarded for the entertainment you produce, in game and IRL.

I know you mentioned highlighting other GW2 channels but it’d be cool to see you highlight other players as well, like a teammate of the week and nemesis of the week type thing. Basically you present them then go over the play that you thought was really good and explain why it was good. Educational and encouraging all in one vid 😉

WvW Roaming is just as if not more toxic than PvP. But roaming is a tiny minority in WvW. Most WvW is done in groups and that is far more friendly usually.
