Glad to see my main featured finally! Overall, herald is a SLOW healer with powerful support abilities that typically have a delay and need to be planned ahead. It is not a reactive healer, you gotta know the fights and predict things. If you do though, it has an easier time than most keeping people at full health and it is unmatched in boon coverage. Couple notes that might help: The corruption build enables extremely low intensity gameplay or extreme tanking gameplay. - For low intensity fights, activate and upkeep light + elements (-1 + -1) permanently. Then swap between chaos (-4) and nature + elements (-2 + -2). Double tap Might when available. This puts you at neutral energy so its not ticking down and you will upkeep all the boons 100% no problem. Auto attack in staff for enough passive healing to get through most NM endgame content. - For extreme tanking (nearly soloing SH fixate in fast groups, tanking QTP without moving to babysit an inexp pylon with tablet, Hand Kiting while being the stack qHeal), go 1-2-2 in both corruption and salvation and just make sure you swap legends off cooldown. Since you'll have more energy to play with, keep nature upkept permanently. In glint, double tap might then activate all other facets. Energy will be about gone when Ventari is available, swap and activate bubble. Swapping off cooldown upkeeps personal resistance which comes with 20% dmg reduction and additional ticking self-heals. - Another trick with corruption is to activate light before the fight and put yourself in combat to prestack energy to 100%. This enables an easier opener when you can have all facets active longer and get a max boon buffer pretty early. - I also recommend going 1-2-1 in Salvation when running the corruption. The personal barrier will counteract the personal torment, so you don't need to waste energy staying alive when not able to auto attack something. - Corruption also enables permanent bubble uptime! This really shines on the cardinals. be aware it does time out on its own after 100 seconds. You will still have the upkeep cost, but the bubble will just disappear and need to be resummoned. Quickest way to do that is use the elite to explode the tablet, resummon with 6, then reactivate bubble immediately. For condi cleansing, you're mostly correct. When I'm pugging sloth, I typically bring hscrg instead of herald. However, there are some things that help. Bubble is a light field, and the 3rd staff auto is a whirl finisher. If running corruption, just auto attacking in staff with bubble over you is completely free condi cleanse. Staff 4 is also a blast, so in bubble it cleanses an extra condi. The elite is ALSO a blast finisher, and if the bubble is active when you explode the tablet, the blast will combo with the light field before it goes away, so it gets an extra cleanse as well. Note on ventari tranquility, which I didn't see you mention. I find using it on bubble is most effective, because it helps upkeep protection. If you are swapping legends off cooldown and using shield 4, you can double tap chaos and not upkeep it to have more energy to play with in glint. In ventari, just activate bubble first and you will upkeep 100% prot altogether. Of course if you need stab, you use it on the elite. Use it on Natural Harmony for a bigger heal (peaking around 14k in ideal conditions). - Most people know you can explode the tablet and resummon it to get tranquil back then explode again for stab, but you can also consume nature facet to get tranquil. Less common but most free method is to abandon the tablet. Send it max range away then run the opposite direction past 1500 range. The tablet will just disappear for free then you can resummon it and get tranquil. The corruption build is great for beginners and coming from chrono/druid like you're used to, corruption herald is SLOW. You don't need to be clicking stuff all the time. It's naturally low intensity and the energy mechanic is more manageable when you just slow down. The invocation build is my preference for the more active and rewarding gameplay. Again, you are swapping legends off cooldown (this also upkeeps a 20% boost to outgoing healing) and requires more familiarity with energy costs. But, the healing output is much improved because you have more energy to play with in ventari. I'm not super in love with scepter either, but it got easier when I stopping looking at 2 and 3 as part of the rotation. It adds a barrier spike to the toolkit without losing the might generation from mace. Bring Relic of the Flock and click 3, 2, wait for skill 3 to flip, click 3, 6 (flock). You get a max barrier spike for incoming hits (works great on vale guardian greens). I found picking someone early in the fight and putting a personal target on them, then a called target on the boss made it easier to swap back and forth for scepter 3. You can also just stay on ally target and hold 1 to auto attack. To be honest though, if there aren't regular big hits that can't be blocked or dodged, I don't bother. ONE LAST TRICK that I enjoy. Rising Momentum (Herald traitline) + Relic of speed and 5 upkeep gives you permanent max speed in or out of combat. Heal herald is my prefered Dhuum kite with hammer or shortbow as you can literally run circles around the messengers and keep them in place, while pulsing all the boons to the squad and acting as the stack qHeal.
@@billypowergamerI really appreciate that thank you! It's the only class I feel comfy enough with to theory craft with and I'm glad people read all the way through my rambling lol.
Not a reactive healer? You sit in Glint forever and when someone drops low you switch to Ventari and heal them to full in a single heal. The trick to heal herald is to play it at under 20 apm and only react^^
@@FjordRiver this isn't rambling my dude, this is knowledge,my static full of seasoned veteran player and they told me (simplified) on my review that there is so much i can do on herald and im still at the "ok" at best level, your comment here really helping me to step up on my game on learning progress as heal herald, thank you
Learning rev (in general, not healrev specifically) back in the day was, for me, a classic case of what we Swedes call the ketchup effect: I don't get it? I don't get it? I don't get it? I GET IT!
if you take bottom traits in salvation you cleanse on dodge and also get endurance on cleanse, if you take retribution you get vigor on evade and passive 25% endurance regen, just options for condition heavy fights
Also, tip i would give to help alleviate some of the issues with energy management and not having enough condi cleanse is to swap legend to vent whenever your energy gets low, consuming facet of nature before you swap to extend boons, Using the vent bubble also upkeeps quickness, and its a light field, so people just accidentally doing blast finishers in it will more or less keep condis a non issue. Plus you have a few blast finishers yourself, so can use that too. If needing stab + condi cleanse like on sloth, play using invocation for the extra energy on swap so you can have more access to staff heals on jalis while youre using road + hammers
Pretty much this, swapping your legends more is the key to playing it IMO. Especially if you take invocation trait line and get the extra 25 energy on swap. Even when in centaur you still have good boon uptime, you still keep your might and quickness, and you can upkeep perma fury with scepter 3 alone if you really wanted to, granted it does feel bad. Then just swapping into centaur gives regen, you give swiftness when you activate the projectile bubble (which you want to do anyways for quickness + might). And any boons you might be lacking in uptime are already covered by when you are in dragon anyways if you swap often. Condi cleanse is a bit lacking when compared to other classes like Muk said, but a perma light field while in centaur helps a lot more than you would think, other people just doing combos in it will get rid of lots of conditions without you having to do anything. And with all of Heralds passive HP healing from buffed regen, the herald trait that heals when applying boons, the tablets passive heal, and barrier on auto attacks I find that 90% of encounters don't even need bigger on demand healing all your basically AFK chip healing will do 99% of the work.
@@Piratederp Another thing you can consider as well on the invocation traitline is not taking the 25% energy boost and taking song of the mists instead, for a 3.6k tt heal on swap to vent, which will be boosted by invoking harmony, takes the sustain on the build to dumb levels, if needed. Swapping legends often also procs invoking harmony all the time, which is just a free 20% buff to healing more or less all the time
I've thought about trying this but I don't like the idea of the dragon swap being pretty much useless from the trait. I should still give it a go though. That swap specifically from that trait is very underused.@@Jaeger460
Just keeping up ventari bubble and auto attacking with your staff provides near permanent condition immunity to your group provided they are near the boss. This is because ventari bubble is a light field as you mentioned and staff auto attack is a whirl finisher which in a light field creates cleansing bolts. Not many people know this about heal revenant and it actually makes it one of the STRONGEST classes for cleansing mass condition spam (for example the fractal instability 'afflicted').
As a heal herald main, this is a great analysis! I think you absolutely recognized the main pain points of the build. When you're more comfortable with the rotation, it becomes a lot easier to keep up your boons while also swapping to Ventari + staff regularly to handle burst healing and cleanses, but doing so usually requires you to know in advance when you're going to need to cleanse and if you mistime a swap you can get punished HARD on fights like slothasor. For anyone curious, the passive effect of Dragon stance's Facet of Nature increases the duration of boons you apply, so keeping that up during the rotation and then popping it for the +2 second extension right before swapping helps a lot. The main issues that I've had are really the lack of Stability/Stun breaks. Exploding your tablet notably ONLY grants stability when you've got the "Tranquility" condition, and takes a moment to channel, AND costs 35 energy, making it very hard to use reactively. Scepter has felt very fine, and I think with a little tuning it and a lot of practice I'll probably like it more, but Herald already has so many passive buttons that slowly give you value that I really would've preferred a more active tool. Overall I think heal herald is underrated, but it takes a LOT of work to get the same results as other healers with only slightly better boon application. Ventari bubble can really trivialize a lot of encounters though. Also worth noting that your kit has a ton of blocks and damage nullification, making herald an incredible tank and probably the easiest handkite in the game.
Also, while the corruption build can definitely be a bit easier to use, I would highly recommend invocation to anyone looking to pick this class up. Short of very specific fights where you might really want 100% bubble uptime, the extra benefits from invocation are very powerful and make healing on demand actually feel much nicer, because swapping to ventari with 75 energy lets you pump out a lot of heals/cleanses pretty quickly.
as a rev main, I have to say the saddest thing about rev is that vindicator is a really fun healer to play, but it doesn't provide quickness or alac, so nobody will ever play it. (if I remember correctly, it did provide alac when it was originally added)
That reminds me of the situation tempest is in: It has usable/good healing and is fun(to me anyways) but it lacks Alac or quick. Also before anyone tries to correct me tempest's Alac and their main healing trait are on the same row so you can't get both usable/good healing and Alac.
@@Warcrafter4 Even without that trait, Tempest's healing throughput is really competitive though... It's other reasons you don't see it as often, like having to play around the long channels of overloads.
Me: *Is gravely injured* LightScepter-wielding Asura that just fell from a higher floor: "Hello there" Me: General Muknobi! *Then is ded cous no Energy lol*
12:00 the concept here is that you don't need to have everything available at your command cause that goes against the philosophy of revenant of utilizing everything in 1 legend then swapping to other for different resources. If you lets say need cleanse and you are in dragon legend and on scepter/shield and low on initiative. 1. You should instinctively consume all your facets and after than double tap(consume) your f2 to increase durations of all boons on allies and swap weapon and use the staff#4 and you will most likely exhaust all your energy. 2. Then you swap legends and only spam more cleanse from ventari without using quickness cause u most likely have overcapped boons from dragon anyway. And then u can spam staff#4 again until you exhaust everything and most likely your legend swap cd will be back and you go back to dragon. Note: Ventari f2 consume skill(double tap) is also 2 cleanses which take like almost no energy to do and is instant.
I'm enjoying this series and hope you're gonna make a final evaluation and take on your favorite healer class to play or at least a priority list of your top couple favorites and when you might choose what for what situation etc...good stuff...
There's a Master trait in Herald that gives one condi cleanse to both Shield skills, you have to trade Shared Empowerment for it but I THINK Scepter Herald should be able to keep up 25 Might without it just fine. Just throwing that out there, the trait also makes you more tanky which is something you praised for Chrono.
Would only recommend taking that that trait (Hardened Persistence) if your sub can already provide a decent amount of might on their own, cus geting rid of shared empowerement means that its basically impossible to upkeep more than 19-21~ stacks of might, good option for condi cleanse tho
@@Jaeger460 Consult your alacdps before use. It's likely that the rest of the subsquad will be able to generate 4-6 stacks of might between them, especially with assistance from Facet of Nature, but it would definitely be something you'd want to check on.
one condition cleanse on two high energy cost skills, one that is an aegis and another that is a burst heal, is absolutely not worth it and I would not recommend anyone do this. take the condi cleanse on dodge trait if that desperate.
I loved that story about your friend running out with the beam! I just ran a newbie friendly strike with a ranger, and two of the players ran out of my bubble, thinking it was a deadly mechanic. The usual advice "don't stand in stuff" led some folks astray here... I both love and hate the art behind all the skills in GW2.
One thing I loved about Mace was the satisfying skill 3 "HULK SMASH" leaping attack with a THUD. The Scepter feels like I'm whipping enemies with a colorful pool noodle.
Facet of Nature's consume skill also does cleansing, which it does have a 20 second cooldown, but it does help with the inbetween when others are cooling down.
For energy expulsion, you can move the tablet with your heal skill between casting it and the explosion, making it a bit easier to target the explosion.
Great video, was fun to see you picking up Herald nearly from scratch. Coming from a Herald main, the energy management is big brain stuff at first until you realize you should just swap legends the moment you are about to run out. Works for every Rev build tbh :D Love Heal Herald, the only downsides for me are having to drop Centaur in favor of Jalis to get stab but usually encounters don't have enough damage pressure for Centaur to be absolutely necessary. Bad condi cleanse when not in Centaur is also annoying sometimes, but staff 4 does it in an emergency and when you actually are in Centaur you are basically perma condicleansing with the bubble's combo field. I also agree with your gripes about the Scepter, it still gives a lot more than just spamming mace 2>3 for might but ally targeting is so clunky man. They should make it so the ally targeting stuff works by hovering your cursor on top of the ally and then hitting anyone nearest to the cursor when you press the button or something along those lines. Feels weird to be clicking on the Squad UI to target your damn spells.
Since they have added stab to ventari elite (only when empowered) is normally all i need for stab in normal fights - even CMs Only in fractal CMs & Samarog which are very stab heavy fights i find it lacking but in those encounters i prefer to just use my HFB For allied targeting i like to use the same tactic as on heal specter - just bind select and set personal target in the options and put it on an ally beforehand to make swapping target easier I prefer to take the more squishy but also the teammate that stacks quite well as my target ^^ Herald is just a slower healer so i find the allied targeting not so bad because i have the time 😊
I feel like this is why Herald seems more appealing as a dps support rather than a heal support since your main weapon options would be better, you'd still be running staff for the bar break, and you'd get all the buffs from dragon stance while only needing your other stance (Shiro for power, Mallyx for condi or Jalis for extreme tanking/soloing) just long enough to burn out that other energy bar within the swap timer and then switch back to dragon stance with plenty of time to refresh all of those buffs. I'm curious about heal Renegade these days, but after being locked into playing alacrigade for five straight years, I'm not sure I'd want to wish that on anyone.
If one wants to get used to Herald, The Quickness DPS version eases the curve a *lot*. You learn what the weapons/utilities/legends do and energy management. You also have less responsibilities if you screw up.
i am semi casual player mostly doing nm fractals and strikes with pugs and semi-newbie on healer specs. as i allready played qhfb, alac heal druid, alac heal mech, quick heal herald on some encounters. but always feels qhfb feels so strong comparing to others. hfb can cover all those boons with ease and some very strong skip options with aegis and stability with one button, and dont have to stuck in one weapon in order to provide these. all other healer class like feel lacking or cumbersome to perform. its like playing weaver to dps while other classes do same with ease. and we dont see weavers on instanced content too much but we see non hfb healers on instanced content often. am i missing something? other than hfb only alac heal druid perform well comparing to hfb in terms of heals, cleanse, stab, aegis etc. and having two pet skill gives flexibility too much which heal herald doesnt have. also alac heal druid has some good dps while covering all support things. can someome enlighten me on healers situation on gw2? i dont think gw2 gives equal treatments on healers. its my opinion btw maybe im not good at healer supports and dont understand at all.
Agree with the energy system, one of the reasons I stayed away from Revenant for so long was because of the that, and also because I'm locked to to the 5 utility slots the stance gives me. I had to start playing quickness Herald because it's too damn good.
its a great summary - for new / newer players, revenant support is awesome to play especially if you just help with things, ie. supporting (basically what muk said, bubble, stab, some cleansing, buff dmg etc. etc. , its sooo many options with little change that you can cover a lot of minor things). At the same time those options are great for open world because you basically have everything. Especially if you run with dragon and malis. As with every class, if you gonna take full respo for your role then yea, you need a bit more knowledge and experience to be good at it. For open world is very awesome, i guess easiest access to boons.
Some extra tips for heal Herald: - You can keep up Fury passively without using the facet if you pick Assassin's Presence in Salvation traitline. - Might can also be generated pasively with Scepter and Elevated Compassion. Therefore, to better manage energy, you only have to keep up the heal, elite facet and maybe nature if more boon duration is needed.
revenant has amazing condi cleanses, imo staff is just better than scepter + shield and if you have the tablet up keep skill (which you have anyway for quickness) it creates light combo field, your staff auto attack chain has whirl combo finisher, which means cleansing bolts (+ brust of heal) every third auto attack for no extra energy i think staff is better than scepter because the barrier is just too low, maybe if the barrier was higher, or the cost of the abilities was lower, because with staff you can just do auto attack chains for free that heal the same as the scepter barrier, but the barrier costs extra energy
Hahaha muk i felt that when you said i need to learn 25 buttons and do energy management XD Rev was my 2nd class to play and it was a bump up for sure in difficulty to learn but I enjoy it because of the intricacies that made playing feel a bit more lively. thanks for making this review and play test!
I believe heal herald is among the strongest support options but it also has some of the highest skill expression. The difference between a good heal herald and a bad heal herald is much bigger than the difference of good and bad other supports.
I did not like herald heals for the energy reason to, but when you get a hang of it, you can let the boons tick off and spend whatever energy on whatever spell, and then you get a healer with a bubble you can control... now that is an amazing ability
I tried herald healing in our fractal group and found it to be a bit... much... and went to Elementalist. I've since changed to rifle mesmer cause I found it to be solid after playing a while and I picked up more tips from your vid.
Yes, I'm trying all supports out and making these thoughts videos to try to expand my knowledge. Example: tempest and healbrand are not new, but I haven't played them much.
I've been playing a lot of this cause herald is my favorite quick dps and I wanted to try out how its healing is. I came across 2 major problems. 1. Too many support tools are only viable in specific legends. boon strip? have to take assassin. reasonable stability? have to take dwarf. reasonable healing? have to take centaur. projectile block? have to take centaur. boons? have to take dragon. where other supports have some baseline tools from the specialization and weapons and can then fill in gaps with utilities based on encounters needs, herald is forced to take specific legends and the utilities being locked to legends means it almost always is lacking something the encounter needs. 2. Legend swap having a cooldown. This seems absolutely wild to me. The utilities are tied to the legend, so imagine having to play something like a mechanist but your kits locked you into them for 8 seconds. It would be unplayable, and that's why heal herald is basically never played. not being able to respond to mechanics is a deal breaker. Need stab soon? swap to dwarf! rip your team is dead cause you couldn't heal them with centaur. Need boons? swap to dragon! now your team is losing dps cause they're getting bounced around like a pinball without stability. My proposed solutions: 1. Make herald weapons do more heavy lifting for support tools. boon strip on scepter. stability on shield or staff. projectile reflect on shield. chunkier healing on staff. this would free up legend choice a bit so you can cover your support bases. 2. Change a trait in salvation to one that reduces the cooldown for swapping legends to around 1 second but with the downside that legend energy doesn't reset when you swap legends and has to recharge over time. This would let support herald be more responsive with legend swaps for utilities while still emphasizing the energy management of the class. the penalty would also make it unattractive to dps revs. I think these would help the class feel viable as a support healer. It's already a fun class and scepter is a neat weapon, but it needs to be able to be more responsive to be usable in any content that isn't just beating up a golem.
i tried the new scepter and holy crap does the skill 3 suck ass just make it a ground target barrier instead of forcing players to lock on 1 player and then the same player 8 seconds later again.
theres no reason to untarget them. your autos still work in an aoe swing while you target your allies. Glint 4 is aoe. Scepter 2 is aoe on ally or enemy. shield 4 is aoe. shield 5 is aoe.
This might feel like beating on a dead horse but I figured I'd mention this in case you wanted to go back to playing heal herald in the future. If you pick devastation traitline instead of invocation or corruption, you get assassin's presence trait, which provides 60% uptime on fury in combat passively (assuming 100% boon duration), which in turn allows you to toggle and consume facet of darkness (fury) immediately to get 100% uptime on fury without having to pay 2 pips per second for it. The timing on this is tight however, and it can drop if you spend a lot of time in centaur stance and noone else is providing fury. That being said, fury tends to be extremely common across multiple dps builds so this has rarely been a problem for me. With this gameplay, you are able to maintain swiftness, regen, protection, 25 might and fury permanently while only having a total of 6 maintenance cost per second, making it even easier to manage energy with than corruption in glint stance, the downside being that you don't get to have permanent bubble in centaur stance, only 50 seconds of it (lul). This traitline also gives you extra self healing and doesn't have you tormenting yourself, so I find it to be a lot better for general use. You basically toggle prot, swiftness and regen facets and keep them on, while consuming fury and might immediately. Might facet is absolutely worthless to upkeep because it is literally 1 stack of might every 3 seconds for an upkeep cost of 2, and you are overcapped on might with your traits and scepter auto attacks anyway. Also, I too usually camp glint when I don't need extra healing. From an energy per second point of view, this is an absolute waste and is in no way how any dps or support dps should play, but as a healer, since you tend to not do any relevant damage, camping glint and letting facets run out only gives them a 3-second cooldown to toggle back on, so you can maintain all your boons by retoggling them 5-10 seconds after they fall off. This allows you to have centaur as your panic healing/stab/cc/projectile hate/cleanse option, instead of forcing you into a preset rotation, where you can end up in glint with 5 seconds till centaur becomes available again and everyone in your group deciding to die right then and there.
Haven't played GW2 much over the last year or so...but I remember Heals/Barriers Vindicator to be a really fun and a not nearly as cumbersome as a lot of the other Rev support builds. Not sure of the boon uptime or anything though. Sure was a lot of fun at least.
for cleanses you can take hardening persistence instead of shared empowerment. you lose some might generation but you gain cleanse on your shield skills. shield 5 cleanses as many times as it pulses, so 4 times.
As a Rev main ever since the old quick herald, I will say that Rev rewards fight knowledge. Rev has a lot of tools, but you can only ever bring so many, so its important that you know what you will need. Need stability and some CC? Bring Jalis. Need boon-strip? Mallyx. Need some projectileblock, cleansing and good Regen? Ventari. It also helps that Glint is such a Boon machine. I mean seriously, the amount of boons that you provide with Glint, no matter if healer of BoonDPS, is ridiculous. Where (In my opinion) Rev is kinda lacking, is weapons. Like, Condi has precisely 2 Weaponsets, Shortbow and Mace/Axe. Up until SotO you had Sword/Sword and Staff for Power, and now you sometimes take Greatsword if you need or want the block. Heck, before they buffed Shield, HealHerald had only mediocre weapon selection outside of Staff. The thing is, the only difference, practically, between Scepter and Mace when it comes to HealRev is that you dont need to do the 2+3 combo on mace to give might, and Scepter gives a small amount of barrier which is only really relevant for the self-torment. Anyway those are just my thoughts as a primarily BoonDPS Rev main who occasionally heals in pugs
Idk it's a lot of fun, came back from break rolled Rev. Yeah its a bit clunky can other classes do things easier. Sure. But I enjoy it. Also energy managment? Just swap legendaries. Run through your rot for it and swap back. Yeah cleanse is a bit challenging but it's minimal I feel like. And knowing your fights is important.
for cleanse, you can take the trait in Salvation that cleanses on dodge. I much prefer heal alac renegade. you only need to press 3 buttons and auto attack.
vindicator? No. I haven't tried healing builds that don't provide quickness or alacrity as (sadly) groups aren't interested in having supports that do not provide one of those (PvE)
If you're not using sceptrer skill 2 on the boss, you don't need to target him, your auto attacks will still work while you have a friendly targetted for skill 3.
3:23 "And I would double tap Facet of Strength just to give my team the Burst of Strength ability from that" Unfortunately, it doesn't grant Burst of Strength to allies, just to you. It's a decent thing to use for the sake of your own DPS if you're a quick DPS build though!
Three things: 1) Salvation can swap Invoking Harmony's bonus healing (especially if you don't swap often, like it seems here) for Eluding Nullification, and aoe cleanse1 on dodge. Not much, but something. 2) Wasn't as much a thing on the other healer vids, but you really should try what it's like to play these WITHOUT the new weapons, and compare. Heal herald should have gotten their healing nuked if they wanted us to care about scepter, because scepter is just sprinkles on the gallon-bucket of icecream that is herald healing already. 3) GW2 is strange, because there's so much expected replayability, you're really expected to anticipate enemy mechanics rather than be ready for them the first time you see them. Ventari is that on overdrive, insanely powerful if you're ready for it, but an absolute mess if you aren't. But because of how easy it is to overcap boons on Glint, you should be able to just flip into Ventari for healing and cleanse without much issue.
I main heal alac tempest and it has the same problem with attunements: better make sure you are in water when the hits come, which is tough because you have to switch on schedule to keep alac up.
I love everything about Rev and kind of want it to be my main but always struggled as I feel very squishy and go down easy, which is partly from my main is necro. Maybe this will help with that feeling
Yes. Herald has some of the best condi cleanses in the game tbh. 100 CM with afflicted is a joke if you have heal herald. And you get bombarded with 3-5 conditions every two seconds. If you know the class condis are a non issue. Stab on demand and aegis area are the only things lacking imo.
heal alac renegade is a lot easier, you can essentially camp centaur stance all the time since your source of alac is the utility f3 utility button. You only NEED to go into dragon stance if you want to provide the extra boons.
I feel like the utility that scepter provides overlaps a bit too much with what heal herald can already provide. You can get some bonus barrier now, but herald never really struggled with fury or might. I think heal renegade might benefit from scepter because its tools for maintaining boons are nowhere near as strong as dragon stance. I am curious how well a scepter heal renegade would perform with the upcoming changes to renegade stance.
I'd pay to see you run a fractal 42 Mai Trin farm with Heal Herald. Hahahahaha! She's gonna bleed you. I struggled with Heal Firebrand to cleanse that fast.
If I may 😊 Heal herald...you press too many buttons ^^ He can do everything very well without the scepter - the worst feel is that herald feels a bit boring compared to other healers because often you are not allowed (!) to press buttons because it would compromise your ability as a healer/boon provider and take away your energy The standard is heal (6) & elite on constantly plus either have 8 fir swiftness, 9 for fury or f2 for boon extensions. Depending what you need. It gives 25 might, regen (which is stronger with rev), protection... Staff auto attack does heal so its always ok to spam it. The issue is just that that is the whole rotation and it works phenomenally. Switch to ventari for big heals, strong condi cleanse, projectile block or stability But dont stay in ventari except you need to block projectiles. F2 in ventari (activate 2nd time is another condi cleanse btw that does require very few energy) So you spend quite a bit of time in glint because you do nothing except autoattack Therefore allied targeting in scepter is not bad because you have the time. Plus the energy need is low for scepter 2 & 3 A good trick is to bind the personal target in the settings to always select one team member which is squishy but stacks quite nicely. With a single button you will always select the right ally in fight The barrier on scepter gives you the ability together with your stronger regen to sustain your subgroup through all but the worst dmg windows Btw dont take corruption...the constant torment is not good to have on you all the time because it will hurt with time - especially if you are tanking Invocation gives regen if you switch to ventari and protection when you legend swap to glint & ventari. Those are your most important boons and that helps quite well with uptime! Charged mists should be used optionally in my opinion. If you are low on energy...you are welcome & can enjoy the 75 - if you are not then its not bad because you will be able to handle it with the 50 too. Just need to switch sooner again. Very potent if you know you need to projectile block for a long time because you can use it to stack up boons beforehand and then stay longer in the vent bubble The 3 on the scepter is not so bad to use - if you have an enemy targeted it becomes a pull while you teleport on your allies while its allied targeting. The delay is just tricky to pull off but thats a thing for rev in general ^^ Regardless you are completely right with one thing - rev needs you to know a bit beforehand what is going to happen so you can plan for it But to be honest that's what i hope from a healer anway...that he knows the fight Playing support is not dumbly pressing buttons as fast as possible - its strategically pressing certain buttons at the right moments. The reason why i enjoy playing support far more in gw2 😊
What would make this feel so much better is a F key to be able to switch stances again without the aoe benifits or just removes the CD for a split sec with a high CD. YA its another reset button in the game but the rev needs it more then any other class with a reset button!
I feel like, at this point, Anet should introduce keybinds to target group members like in older tab target MMOs. Especially considering how many classes can now target allies with their skills, like Specter and Druid, and now Rev as well. Sure, I could click on the group window, but that still takes like a second or two and I have twitchy hands, I may accidentally target the wrong teammate lol
the way the beam on scepter 3 was in the beta made more sense, and then they redesigned it to this clunky mess. In the beta it cost energy upkeep, but had an infinite duration. So the button flipping after 7 seconds was fine because you had from 7seconds until your energy ran out to push the button. The way it is now with an 8s beam and a skill after 7s is too punishing, and also makes the teleport portion useless unless you know you need a shadowstep exactly 7s from cast.
Additional thought, instead of running centaur/dragon, consider bringing demon. You can take on conditions from your allies, and push them onto enemies. Running a sigil of generosity could be pretty funny here.
Still feels far too awkward having energy costs on the weapon skills. Honestly they should just get rid of them and bump up the costs on the legend skills to compensate.
as a rev main myself this would be simply amazing but also detrimental, some skills will already drain your energy in two casts - if left at the same cost with no weap energy drain it would be too OP. Part of the reason for weapon energy cost is also low CDs for the skills themselves - it is in itself a sort of compensation.
I kinda feel you made life a bit harder on yourself than you needed to. I use rev when pugging for strikes. Starting out I used to struggle understanding all the skills. But once I figured it out I feel it's easily the most low intensity build of all the heal classes. I should point out I am 1 of those revs that bounces between stances. I'm not good at explaining this, but swapping stances feels like a natural way to get energy back. I barely pay much mind to energy unless I'm playing aheal/adps. I try to make sure I have the 20 I need to pulse alac before swapping, then rinse and repeat. For qheal/qdps I just tap the skills so I'm slowly draining energy, then auto and skills off cooldown, swap when energy runs out. I haven't received any complaints and I don't struggle to kerp my sub group alive. It got to thd point I consider rev and venti bubble mandatory for just how easy it makes HT strike. So only advice I feel I could give is I guess... don't over think it?
Agree with this. The main thing about revenant is switching legends constantly. You need a bit to plan ahead if you know you need something specifically, for example for sloth fear, if you are in glint you need to make sure you have ventari utility when needed, so you can camp it a bit longer and if you are already in ventari and you know some mechanic needs you to be in it, then you can prolong how much time you spend in it and when it is not needed anymore, back to glint, but that is the main key point. Boons are so easy to maintain exactly because you can be stuck in a legend that doesn't provide those boons because of mechanics. The only issue before scepter was might and fury because you had to do different shenanigans to get those boons like combo fields and such which drain energy like crazy. From what I have tested so far, with invocation energy is almost never an issue if you constantly switch legends (there are some edge cases here and there). The barrier is absolutely awesome on the scepter. Herald provides a lot of healing from regen. Having that barrier to stop insta kills feels incredible, and that is the reason I cast off cd scepter 1 and 2. For scepter 3 you can cast it every now and then on an ally because you get might from sc1 and a lot of fury is actually covered if you cast true nature (f2) to extend boons constantly and the fury facet. The barrier on it is just an extra if you want honestly. Scepter also allows for shield which is aegis+big heals and blocks, which makes tanking stupidly easy. Rn staff is there just for extra condi cleanse and the huge cc, which in itself is awesome. Speaking of barrier and heals, if you run relic of the flocks, you give barrier and heals every 10 seconds when either moving the tablet in ventari or activating the light facet. Honestly, right now, unless a boss drops 30-40k dmg at once on an ally or they get insta killed, it is almost impossible to die when having a herald that just smashes buttons off cd. (This seems intimidating, but even for high intensity fight, it is extremely chill).
Salvation herald is great in fractals, however I dont use scepter, im using sword instead. Im also running salvation traitline. I dont care about the extra pip when im healing, it might be a mistake on my end, but im building my healers not to be super optimal but easy and useful instead.
Try heal alac renegade. It has less buttons to learn but you press less buttons more often. All revenant specs' most reliable condi cleanse is actually the dodge button.
It seems you have this idea about Rev that there is a “default setup” and “default legend” and that swapping to the other weapon/legend is somehow cumbersome. When in practice you should be swapping between legends every time your energy is below 10, as well as utilizing weapon swaps for cleanses. Also keep in mind you can trait shield skills to remove conditions.
Yeah. As I mentioned I found a lot of ways (both in guides and in people yelling advice) on how to play it. Invocation certainly encourages swapping more with its bonuses.
@@MuklukRUclips Rev mains do tend to yell... Something about all the voices in our heads... But yeah, I suggest the Invocation build for new Rev players, btw! Starting with all the extra energy on swap gives you lots of wiggle room, and has a built-in "indicator" on when you're ideally supposed to swap.
As a Rev main I am very happy to see you review the scepter! The weapon just needs to be better. Personally I would have liked it to be a condi DPS/heal support weapon. I think Rev is super fun to play but they are a bit complicated with the multiple skills and energy management - when a class has complications like that I expect the skills to be more powerful/rewarding and scepter falls very short. I personally don't like centaur stance, I find it clunky with the tablet and empower mechanic. Between Scepter and Centaur, I just don't play healer on Rev despite wanting to.
tip, all you need in Dragon stance is 6,7,8,9, healer since GW1, I like heal, engineer, guardian, this is the easiest for me to run out of them all and I have dexterity issues with my hand due to burns i recieved
Yeah that 3 skill seems kinda jank, hope they make it a skill shot that connects to the first ally it hits or something like that And as a heal herald enjoyer, you get used to the centaur bubble and just constantly moving it with you or ahead of you while moving. You need a good brain calculator tho. Yeah, you really have to know the fights to play heal herald at a high level. You have to have very good timing of mechanics so you know how much energy and when your legend swap is available to burst heal. For cleansing, bubble + staff auto will continuously cleanse, very good In fights like sloth, boneskinner, and cm100 And I usually stay in staff most of the time, swap to whatever /shield set I'm using when needed for aegis. Haven't even used the scepter yet
To make the bonding thingie a bit less cumbersome I started using the set and target personal mark shortcuts and set a group member as my favorite person to occasionally bond with (hoping that my bff would survive the fight). Swapped to my friend with shortcut, hit 3 to bond with then retargetted boss. The skill swapped even if I wasn't targetting my bonding buddy and barriers happened. It made the whole bonding ceremony a lot easier than trying to find a player with "closest" or "next ally" targeting among pets, minis and whatnot or click on a friendly person in the raid roster.
In my opinion, the scepter was more made to help the people that have always been playing revenant and wanted to play support, rather than the people that always play support and wanted another class to try out. Rev has always been one of the harder class, it has a specific public.
So as a heal rev myself, I got a few things to say here. For starters, scepter as a weapon was just bad. It's yet ANOTHER melee weapon (and another SWORD at that), that touts itself as a support weapon, but has lack luster support skills. Staff honestly is leagues better than scepter, save for only ONE thing (discounting how awesome it looks ofc), and that's that it can't give aegis, and even that isn't a feature of scepter, but of the shield. Scepter needed to be a ranged support option for rev, so that there was at the very least some differentiation, but as usual Rev has to be a unique snowflake like that and turn melee weapons into range ones, and ranged ones, into melee ones... The other thing is that, ya support rev is honestly, really wacky ever since it's rework. It's alot more complex than it needs to be, and has a very hard time with those on demand heals as you pointed out. Before it' rework, we use to be able to just pump out all the boons pretty easily just by double casting our facets, and we could pool our energy for staff heals, or if we REALLY needed to, swap to Ventari for emergency big heals. But now we are forced to swap, or use corruption to maintain boons realistically. It's just a bad rework. Also weapons shouldn't cost energy... It makes everything way too clunky. Great vid btw.
@@MuklukRUclips true I know very little about PVE so that makes sense haha. Great video though BTW. I recently learned how to play this same build and yeah it seems like it has an extremely high learning curve. Looking forward to more of these!
Gotta say feel like you were overwhelmed by the energy mechanic, feel like you said some problems and whithout realizing you said the solution a bit later lol
I'm still not sold on scepter. For the cleanses they were right ventari and staff is very good for cleanses. Just bubble and auto attack in it. That doesn't really involve swapping out of your "main" setup because scepter doesn't provide anything essential. ANET please change basically everything about scepter, it isn't cool, good, or fun.
Long melee weapon that is not affected by the legendary weapon effects. And almost the same with Necromancer's sword. Any legendary downgrades it autoattack animation to micropepo mode. Reason? Economy of dev time.
As I see it, the builds main problem is that a Qdps herald do everything this one does, minus the healing. And considering that alac healers are busted atm..
sceptre sucks, stay with staff. use sceptre as an offset with shield if you want, but main staff. also, condi cleanse, read your talents, you can swap a couple for condi heavy fights and its well worth doing so, for a lot more condi cleanse.
Rev is my main, I've almost 11k in the game and most of them in Rev. I did play scepter Rev 5 minutes in the beta and now that the weapon have been released I've played another 4 minutes. Despite most of my gear is legendary (including scepter) I found no reason to play scepter Rev again. It took me less than 10 minutes to achieve that though but I'm glad after 3 hours of practice you have been able to express so well the weakness of the weapon. I don't need fixes or upgrades because as happens with Ventari, Kalla, the hammer, the shield and even the swords I have to reason tou use any of them ever and now that list includes the scepter. I'm currently 45+ hours into Last Epoch, by the way...
The scepter is one of those confusing weapons. Revenants do not hurt in providing might or fury, so the fact it adds it is just pointless. Many of it's additional effects are confusing as well. The barrier effect is nice but over all this weapon does nothing but give a rather pointless weapon that can go in the rubbish bin. As amusing as it is to watch heralds desperately try to make something of this weapon, in PvE at least (I know right now it's a nightmare for WvW at least) it's definitely just a stick with staff weapon.
Scepter is functionally balls. Autos kinda laggy and 2 and 3 has arbitrary wait times. Just disappointing. Also Scepter 2 and 3 can get obstructed by LoS so any terrain with height difference or pillars can potentially cuck you.
Couple notes that might help:
The corruption build enables extremely low intensity gameplay or extreme tanking gameplay.
Can I subscribe to your newsletter? Seriously you've given me a lot to think about with Herald thank you.
@@FjordRiver this isn't rambling my dude, this is knowledge,my static full of seasoned veteran player and they told me (simplified) on my review that there is so much i can do on herald and im still at the "ok" at best level, your comment here really helping me to step up on my game on learning progress as heal herald, thank you
question is there a good build right now for heal herald ?
link?
Learning rev (in general, not healrev specifically) back in the day was, for me, a classic case of what we Swedes call the ketchup effect:
I don't get it?
I don't get it?
You also have traits that the end of your dodge roll cleanses condi's. This really help with encounters with lots of small condi's.
As someone who has been playing heal herald since they gave it quickness about 2 years ago, we eatin good
As a heal herald main, this is a great analysis!
It's a popular healer for wvw.
That reminds me of the situation tempest is in: It has usable/good healing and is fun(to me anyways) but it lacks Alac or quick.
Also before anyone tries to correct me tempest's Alac and their main healing trait are on the same row so you can't get both usable/good healing and Alac.
Heal Vindi is king in high level WvW play.
@@Warcrafter4
Even without that trait, Tempest's healing throughput is really competitive though...
It's other reasons you don't see it as often, like having to play around the long channels of overloads.
@@Warcrafter4You absolutely can. The bulk of Tempest's healing isn't going to come from that one trait on the final row with the Alac trait.
Me: *Is gravely injured*
LightScepter-wielding Asura that just fell from a higher floor: "Hello there"
Me: General Muknobi!
There is also a trait in Salvation (Eluding Nullification) that removes conditions on dodge.
😂
I think of it more like a Bankai
scuffed bankai@@kaiserofkush
Facet of Nature's consume skill also does cleansing, which it does have a 20 second cooldown, but it does help with the inbetween when others are cooling down.
For energy expulsion, you can move the tablet with your heal skill between casting it and the explosion, making it a bit easier to target the explosion.
Great video, was fun to see you picking up Herald nearly from scratch. Coming from a Herald main, the energy management is big brain stuff at first until you realize you should just swap legends the moment you are about to run out. Works for every Rev build tbh :D
Love Heal Herald, the only downsides for me are having to drop Centaur in favor of Jalis to get stab but usually encounters don't have enough damage pressure for Centaur to be absolutely necessary.
Since they have added stab to ventari elite (only when empowered) is normally all i need for stab in normal fights - even CMs
Only in fractal CMs & Samarog which are very stab heavy fights i find it lacking but in those encounters i prefer to just use my HFB
For allied targeting i like to use the same tactic as on heal specter - just bind select and set personal target in the options and put it on an ally beforehand to make swapping target easier
I prefer to take the more squishy but also the teammate that stacks quite well as my target ^^
Herald is just a slower healer so i find the allied targeting not so bad because i have the time 😊
I feel like this is why Herald seems more appealing as a dps support rather than a heal support since your main weapon options would be better, you'd still be running staff for the bar break, and you'd get all the buffs from dragon stance while only needing your other stance (Shiro for power, Mallyx for condi or Jalis for extreme tanking/soloing) just long enough to burn out that other energy bar within the swap timer and then switch back to dragon stance with plenty of time to refresh all of those buffs.
Some extra tips for heal Herald:
- You can keep up Fury passively without using the facet if you pick Assassin's Presence in Salvation traitline.
- Might can also be generated pasively with Scepter and Elevated Compassion.
Therefore, to better manage energy, you only have to keep up the heal, elite facet and maybe nature if more boon duration is needed.
revenant has amazing condi cleanses, imo staff is just better than scepter + shield and if you have the tablet up keep skill (which you have anyway for quickness) it creates light combo field, your staff auto attack chain has whirl combo finisher, which means cleansing bolts (+ brust of heal) every third auto attack for no extra energy
i think staff is better than scepter because the barrier is just too low, maybe if the barrier was higher, or the cost of the abilities was lower, because with staff you can just do auto attack chains for free that heal the same as the scepter barrier, but the barrier costs extra energy
Wonder if the ranger mace will change up druid or other elite spec support setups.
I believe heal herald is among the strongest support options but it also has some of the highest skill expression. The difference between a good heal herald and a bad heal herald is much bigger than the difference of good and bad other supports.
6:57 This is why Herald is my favorite boon and quickness DPS 😂 (Renegade as well for alacrity having just a single button to press off cooldown)
In the video you said all of them. Does that include tempest even though they didn’t get anything new technically?
My proposed solutions:
Using the mace as a blast finisher with Bubble will cleans conditions.
Using a glint trait will make both shield skills clear condis as well.
i tried the new scepter and holy crap does the skill 3 suck ass
just make it a ground target barrier instead of forcing players to lock on 1 player and then the same player 8 seconds later again.
theres no reason to untarget them. your autos still work in an aoe swing while you target your allies.
That's why you precast the explosion from centaur and then move it into the group haha. Jk that is jenky, but it does work well in pvp for interrupts.
You can also consider Devastation 3-1-3 for self heal (Battle Scars) and pulsing fury (Assassin's Presence). Saving 2 energy upkeep for when needed.
Assassin's Presence is only 3s of Fury every 10sec. Not enough by itself.
Whilst I really enjoy the qdps build for herald, the heal build is not for me. Nice to see you try all the different classes Muk!
did you try playing with the Legendary Alliance Stance healing side?
vindicator?
3:23 "And I would double tap Facet of Strength just to give my team the Burst of Strength ability from that"
Unfortunately, it doesn't grant Burst of Strength to allies, just to you. It's a decent thing to use for the sake of your own DPS if you're a quick DPS build though!
Well woops. Thanks for letting me know!
I love this video! Cool review. Can you do the same with heal support engi? I'd love to see a video like this but with an engi healer.
Doesnt herald have infinite condi cleanses with the bubble that is a light field?
Biggest problem is being in the right stance (Ventari). You can't be in Ventari for too long or your boons suffers.
@@Alphenis you dont have to. No boss bombards you with condis 24/7.
@@markcuk95 thats what I was thinking
heal alac renegade is a lot easier, you can essentially camp centaur stance all the time since your source of alac is the utility f3 utility button. You only NEED to go into dragon stance if you want to provide the extra boons.
Ok I'm a minute in but seeing you use the reset button in the traits reminded me that's a thing and holy crap I totally forgot about that... thanks!
glad to see my frustration with this build validated by the muk
3:25 I Believe Burst of Strenght is only for yourself. Not teammate. Please correct me.
You aren't the only one to say that so you may be right!
If I may 😊
Heal herald...you press too many buttons ^^
He can do everything very well without the scepter - the worst feel is that herald feels a bit boring compared to other healers because often you are not allowed (!) to press buttons because it would compromise your ability as a healer/boon provider and take away your energy
The standard is heal (6) & elite on constantly plus either have 8 fir swiftness, 9 for fury or f2 for boon extensions. Depending what you need. It gives 25 might, regen (which is stronger with rev), protection...
Staff auto attack does heal so its always ok to spam it. The issue is just that that is the whole rotation and it works phenomenally.
Switch to ventari for big heals, strong condi cleanse, projectile block or stability
But dont stay in ventari except you need to block projectiles.
F2 in ventari (activate 2nd time is another condi cleanse btw that does require very few energy)
So you spend quite a bit of time in glint because you do nothing except autoattack
Therefore allied targeting in scepter is not bad because you have the time. Plus the energy need is low for scepter 2 & 3
A good trick is to bind the personal target in the settings to always select one team member which is squishy but stacks quite nicely. With a single button you will always select the right ally in fight
The barrier on scepter gives you the ability together with your stronger regen to sustain your subgroup through all but the worst dmg windows
Btw dont take corruption...the constant torment is not good to have on you all the time because it will hurt with time - especially if you are tanking
Invocation gives regen if you switch to ventari and protection when you legend swap to glint & ventari. Those are your most important boons and that helps quite well with uptime!
Charged mists should be used optionally in my opinion. If you are low on energy...you are welcome & can enjoy the 75 - if you are not then its not bad because you will be able to handle it with the 50 too. Just need to switch sooner again. Very potent if you know you need to projectile block for a long time because you can use it to stack up boons beforehand and then stay longer in the vent bubble
The 3 on the scepter is not so bad to use - if you have an enemy targeted it becomes a pull while you teleport on your allies while its allied targeting. The delay is just tricky to pull off but thats a thing for rev in general ^^
Regardless you are completely right with one thing - rev needs you to know a bit beforehand what is going to happen so you can plan for it
But to be honest that's what i hope from a healer anway...that he knows the fight
Playing support is not dumbly pressing buttons as fast as possible - its strategically pressing certain buttons at the right moments.
I'm not a rev player but iirc mace offers blast finishers, which can combo with centaur bubble to make condi cleanse finishers.
I plan to try it but waiting until the kalla rework in a couple of weeks.
I really tried making my name Degs and his Stablet (centaur stance stab tablet) but char limit :(
As a Rev main I am very happy to see you review the scepter!
I find it pretty easy to heal on Herald using staff
tip, all you need in Dragon stance is 6,7,8,9, healer since GW1, I like heal, engineer, guardian, this is the easiest for me to run out of them all and I have dexterity issues with my hand due to burns i recieved
Yeah that 3 skill seems kinda jank, hope they make it a skill shot that connects to the first ally it hits or something like that
And as a heal herald enjoyer, you get used to the centaur bubble and just constantly moving it with you or ahead of you while moving. You need a good brain calculator tho.
Yeah, you really have to know the fights to play heal herald at a high level. You have to have very good timing of mechanics so you know how much energy and when your legend swap is available to burst heal.
For cleansing, bubble + staff auto will continuously cleanse, very good In fights like sloth, boneskinner, and cm100
And I usually stay in staff most of the time, swap to whatever /shield set I'm using when needed for aegis.
Gaze of Darkness and Burst of Strength only apply to the Revenant.
That would be quite wild if they were AoE 😅
TIL
That thumbnail is really funny!
I think Staff 5 IS the largest bar breaker in the game because of how many times it hits.
Yes, by a large margin. 1350 total break bar if everything hit.
Love the community feedback in the comments!
In my opinion, the scepter was more made to help the people that have always been playing revenant and wanted to play support, rather than the people that always play support and wanted another class to try out.
Rev has always been one of the harder class, it has a specific public.
6:19 thats hilarious :D
There’s a spec where heals cleanse as well
I play every heal build in this game, but heal herald was too hard for me. I'm experienced with quickherald and still it was hard to play healherald.
Blast in the ventari shield
Mesmer healing mantra doesn't cleanse. It's clones generation/shatter that cleanses
"lesser power cleanse" in inspiration trait line, remove 1 conditions from 5 nearby allies when you use a healing skill.
mace is excellent for blast heal... Like it way better than scepter, but staff is your main heal wpn on heal herald
you dont cleanse condi with herald, you just gather and transfer them to boss or other players :)
Vindicator healer may be a better healer. You can get insane boon uptime and way more cleanse. But you give up on providing boons yourself
No alac / quick. In PvE it's a death sentence for a heal build.
Heal Vindi is also really good.
Aye I've heard its great in pvp/wvw. I've been most trying PvE supports that provide quickness or alacrity.
Re: Thumbnail.... Well, you're an Asura so you have a lot to compensate for!! :D :P
*Boom* Got 'em!
Wow, God forbid you can't access every single healer tools across 10 buttons with a healing class that uses 25.
Otherworldly Bond really feels like it should cost energy to ally tether but be 100% free to use the special recast
sceptre sucks, stay with staff. use sceptre as an offset with shield if you want, but main staff. also, condi cleanse, read your talents, you can swap a couple for condi heavy fights and its well worth doing so, for a lot more condi cleanse.
These videos are terrible because they make me want to try more things in the game!! Good job on the video. Looks like I am going to try my Rev again.
Scepter is functionally balls. Autos kinda laggy and 2 and 3 has arbitrary wait times. Just disappointing.
Also Scepter 2 and 3 can get obstructed by LoS so any terrain with height difference or pillars can potentially cuck you.
worst weapon for rev atm so boring too
try heal vindicator
I haven't because it doesn't provide quickness or alacrity so most groups wouldn't take it in PvE which is what I'm currently testing.
