Your hair looks great! I feel like mine is *finally* starting to come in, too. I had CV this summer, too, and a month or two later, the hair in the sink or on my comb stressed me all the way out (which we know is awesome for hair loss👀🙃). I was using minoxidil before CV for a couple of years, and so I just kept doing what I was doing. Riding it out is so difficult, but I just cut it a little, babied it (tried to cut back on heat styling, used more masks, etc), and buckled my seatbelt. 😬😂 Here’s to a good hair year for us in 2023! 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

Hey girl! You’re looking so great and I love the hair color. ☺️ I’ve had medical infusions, too. I used a cold cap during the sessions and lost about 60%. After treatment was done, I followed the Paxman protocol for 6 months which was to not use tight hairbands, use a sulfate and fragrance-free shampoo (I bought Kristin Ess which is sold at Target), washed my hair only once per week (it was rough on that front. Grease machine, anyone?), did not color it and no blow dryer or hot tools. I have to say that my holy grail was to spend WAY too much money (yes, the pain of buying expensive gadgets! 🤦🏼‍♀️💸) and get an iRestore laser cap, which has done wonders for me. Plus, my husband and mom use it, so I think it was $900 on sale as money well spent. I hate to sound like an advert for them, but I know that there are other laser caps out there. Dr. Gary Linkov who’s a Plastic Surgeon in NYC has a YT channel and has a great video explaining the laser caps. He suggests two modalities for hair growth, which are minoxidil or finasteride and the caps. Dr Dray also talks about it on her channel. But I TOTALLY respect you for trying botanicals. One other thing is that once I started coloring it again, I don’t do so as often and I use the hair dye brand Naturtint, which is ammonia-free. You can get it online or at Whole Foods or it’s usually cheaper and on sale at Natural Grocers/Vitamin Cottage. I would say that my hair is much better now than pre-infusion and much thicker. But like you said, consistency on all of this stuff is the key. 😉 Thanks for making these videos to help people and hang in there, sistah! xoxo Christine in sunny CO ☀️

thanks for an update! I am one year behind you, got the C19 in May this year 2023, hair falling out BAD by july so i'm only 6 weeks into it and i'm freaking out a little. I was HOPING someone who experienced this would give their story as to HOW LONG their hair fell out like that...I see so many stories where people say it happened to them but rarely does anyone come back and say how long it actually lasted. So it seems yours was from July to Nov 2022? that's 4 months...wowzer. My hair was about 5 inches past the bra, and very thick..had hubby cut 5 inches off already. :( hoping because my covid was mild and only lasted a week, that this doesn't last 4 months! You're stunningly beautiful even when you showed your loss of hair...couldn't tell! Thanks for your story...if nothing, I am late 50s, just retired from a long career and can stay home for 3 years till it grows back out...i'll send hubby to get groceries...hahah!!! Blessings to all who are going through this...our hair is part of our identity and it's VERY difficult when you're somewhat vain..as most of US are....xoxo Thanks for your info! just taking biotin a couple times a week and a stress tab daily. :)

A year ago I went through horrible postpartum hair loss... then TE hit from covid. Thank God I had a ton of hair... but it's absolutely devastating seeing your hair fall out in clumps in the shower. I did a good chop a year ago. Then about a month ago I cut 11+ inches off into a pixie/textured bob. I had lost all my bangs, a ton in the front side panels... I have a lot of regrowth now, but it was time to chop the thin length. Thank you for talking about this. Thinking I'll commit to Rogaine.

I’m a huge fan of rosemary in coconut oil as a mask, it smells amazing and makes my scalp feel so good and as a bonus it helps you avoid getting lice from kids (I started using it while working at a daycare for this reason)
Something else that has worked for me is-hear me out-microneedling. I only do it around the hairline, once per week or so, but it helps the body produce more collagen and thus a stronger foundation for hair ☺️
Thank you for sharing your journey, I always appreciate the updates 💛💛💛

Back in 2012 I lost 80% of my hair in just 3 months from taking a birth control pill! It has slowly been coming back but it never recovered completely. I never went bald like I thought I would and a lot has come back. I have about 60% of what I used to have before it all happened. So if you go through this as a woman it does come back and you have hope! A lot of women do recover completely. I had long lasting side effects from taking birth control it messed up my hormones and it took my body a long time to heal so my hair didn’t get to really start growing back for about 2 years after that. Birth control is no joke! Bad things can happen

For itchy scalp and hair fall - the only thing that helped me is avocado oil from the food section,- it removes build up that hard water can leave behind- massage it into scalp for 5 min. leave it for at least 30 min. then shampoo 2x.I use it 1x a week. And i cleaned my diet.♥️
I read couple of reviews of palm saw. but couple of women complained about the fact that if messed up their hormones, like losing more hair and growing a mustache 😳so I won't be trying that.Good luck everyone ♥️

🤔Saw Palmetto sounds interesting to me... That was so cool to hear about the importance of testosterone! Totally just did some squats!🤣 I have very long hair now (I'm 6' and my hair is just past my tailbone) and I do believe somewhat genetically gifted (Native American) but I have just been recovering from a very rough patch, several years of intense stress and grief, pushed me right through early menopause at 38, then a few more years of hell and hair loss, and now I'm on a low dose birth control as a form of hormone replacement therapy. (getting used to the pill again was a few weeks of hell but I'm glad I stuck with it.) What is working for me now and has always worked for me in the past is Jamaican black castor oil (I get a lavender one at Sally's). It is SUPER stupid thick and stickybut sometimes I mix it with a thinner, slippery oil or coconut oil, just maybe half a teaspoon each if that, just rub it in to my scalp and try to let it sit for at least 20 minutes, sometimes a few hours, I really don't think longer is necessary but I'll put conditioner on the rest of my hair to take advantage of the time and make it easier to wash out. I shampoo twice with a clarifying shampoo or Giovanni Triple Treat with tea tree oil, rosemary, peppermint, eucalyptus. I also condition twice, always, but my hair is very thick and there's a lot of it, someone with fine hair may not tolerate that well. I just like to keep it as sleek and straight as possible to avoid tangles and breakage.

@@partdeux992 I simply start losing a lot of hair, in all my head, not one spot and as Mallory said, it was mostly after the period that I felt pain in my scalp like if I had a tight ponytail all the time. I am using an Italian brand BeC natura hair drops(100%natural), I have just started so I don’t know if they will be effective but they contain many natural things maybe rosemary too, I hope. I think it is an infiammatory process. I know so many people that’s underestimate hair loss after the vaccine not only for the covid disease.. I bet that if doctor would have told us that with the vaccine we lose hair.. no one would have done it.
