I❤SM it's changed a lot in the last 8 years
Yes it has
I really enjoyed growing up in san marcos. Been here all my life. The rolling hills, greenery, and hidden parks/trails are amazing. Though, growing up it wasnt as crowded. I could literally skate on the road back then, now not so much haha, then again i am older now. However, if youre looking to move into the area, avoid the inner area where the San Marcos Elementary is. I grew up there, it is low income but slowly becoming better. However, there has been a rise in drug and gang activity. Best to not raise children in that kind of environment. (Have seen kids no older than 8 already practicing gang signs and whistling) san marcos has also become a bit crowded which is why i moved. But overall it is a really nice area. Especially around fall and spring
Grew up there myself! Definitely not as much infrastructure as there is now. It's really grown a lot.
MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎅 🎄 🏖🏄♂️🥂🍷🕺🇺🇲
I love SM I can't wait to move back

Besides Sunset park no mention of west San Marcos? It's more affordable than the rest and a safe area. We're close to SO many breweries in south Vista, it's a beer lover's dream come true 👍
Not a safe area
So many great breweries over that way for sure. Have you hit up Blue Fire? It's in SM just north of the 78.
Please go look at Nick Johnson’s last video about his home town. We all know its reputation but the last time I was there, it wasnt near that bad.
On those new homes near the Kaiser, what prices did they start out at on first and early phases?
Right now they are Mid $1,100,000s - Mid $1,200,000s (5BR, 4BA, around 3000 sqft)
@@MovingToSanDiegoCA which year area built out and approximately how much did the 4/3 homes sell for at that time?
We might mention that there are two main hospitals and a university. Also only two high schools which hold around 4,000 students each. As they keep building, San Marcos is becoming crowded with traffic. Just saying.
The traffic is real. So many lights!
Hello! San Marcos local here! 35 years. If you have kids… don’t move here.
Why? My aunt lives there and has 2 kids
Really? Why?
Don't listen to her, San Marcos is a very family friendly city.
@@astra3929 because the school district sucks. I have kids too. Looks up the poverty level in San Marcos and look up where they rank in the schools testing etc. San Marcos is a beautiful city! Great weather, so many close by shops, great parks, etc… but I do not suggest anyone’s kids going to school here.
I would say move there. Just stay away from the gang infested areas as they have been rampant with crimes such as drug peddling, sex trafficking, and homicides. The areas around san marcos Elementary, san marcos middle school, Bradley Park, Jack in the box by Palomar college and The backroads leading down buenacreek to Vista as well are iffy.
The first video I saw of yours, I chuckled. “WHY are these guys doing videos about North County?” No one needs a tutorial on why its nice there. PLEASE stop, you’ll only draw in people who cant afford to live there, then head for local services for the low income and homeless. C’mon you know its has already been impacted negatively. No one needs to be told they might consider this area!
Are you really local realtors. ?
I’m looking to move to North County and I find their videos very helpful. I can afford it don’t worry. Do you really think people that can’t afford housing watch videos to find nice places🤪
