I've seen some other creators knocking Pontins and other places but i think its a little cringe turning it into entertainment. Its like kicking someone when they're down. We know these places exist, let them be i say.
Yep, like when Ben and his mate are on the beach, his stay was for content and not to be taken seriously. It's a pitiful scene when Ben plays with the frisbee himself but that's how a lot of families holidays play out when they go on these holidays. I went on them all the time but my parents made up for the dire setting. Some young kids that aren't lucky
I actually worked there in 2019, I left just before the ceiling accident, safe to say it was absolutely horrible I worked in the fish and chip shop and do many other cooking jobs around the site, everything was unhygienic and out of place, I lived on site due to living 2 hours away and even then it was just not okay, luckily as staff I could take cleaning equipment and clean my self which gave me piece of mind
I went on tons of these £9.50 Sun holidays as a kid, every year to the same place - Butlins which later turned into Haven in Ayrshire in Scotland. It would always be the same weekend, first Thursday-Monday of July. I have some of my fondest memories as a kid there, with my grandparents at the arcades, go-karting and playing mini golf. The accommodation was shockingly similar to this, clearly nothing has changed in 15 years. But when you're 9 years old you don't notice that, you love the crap entertainment they put on and all the lights of the arcades. I'm really glad in retrospect I went every year from I was maybe 6 right until I was about 14 and got too old for it. That time spent with my grandparents was magical, and it was all captured on a camcorder my by granddad which was later converted to VHS. My grandparents have now all passed on, and I pop the videos on every now and again to relive a time in my life I was probably the happiest. I don't really have a point to make here, just that when you're a child and your parents can't afford to go abroad, you look forward to holidays like this every year more than Christmas. And not to sound like a complete boomer aged 26, but maybe that feeling is missing now as places like this become a thing of the past

I stayed in an identical room very close to yours (532) last year and am going back again in September. I had several great holidays there as a kid staying with my grandparents and wanted to experience the place again for the first time in 40 years. It was quite moving playing on the snooker table that my grandfather taught me to play on all those years ago. video ideas: wild camping in scotland, plus over night trains from london to scotland etc.
Great video as always, but unlike some of the other places you've been, I'm not packing my bags just yet!
I remember going this exact place as a kid, nice to see nothing has changed💀
some pad that wowee
I remember coming here as a kid , it looked so familiar i was so happy back then.. but seeing it now its just very depressing LOL.
We did one back in 2014 when we were struggling for cash in Saltcoats Scotland grimmest place I’ve ever been to.
Saltcoats caravan park 2009 = worst hangover of my life ever ever ever
I stayed in an identical room very close to yours (532) last year and am going back again in September. I had several great holidays there as a kid staying with my grandparents and wanted to experience the place again for the first time in 40 years. It was quite moving playing on the snooker table that my grandfather taught me to play on all those years ago. The Sun deal might sound good but it cost you £9.50 a night each, but I booked directly through Pontins and it worked out at £13.50 for an 'apartment' with up to 4 people staying. Cant wait to go back again. They have really improved some areas since I went last September.
The transitions with the music when Ben walks into the cabin….bloody awesome! Haha
The camera quality has improved sooo much and so has the editing. This feels like really high quality content and its amazing
I hope everyone who sees this is having a good day and if you aren’t i hope it gets better soon 💖

Bro
You too
right back at you.
"funny mentions is that" I agree of you, Ben. I'm not going to pontins because a whole years never seen a tv commercial but you know I've been there when I was a kid at Camber sands.
This was actually a quality video 👍🏼
the fact i used to come here every year for a full week of netball tour pains me, i never slept bc i thought some rats would be there
Not the only 8 incher Ben enjoys
You're so cute when you're projecting
“You can sit inside now!”
“No you can’t there’s no seats…. And it’s closed”
Quickest comedown of 2021
Will you ever do a flat tour of your new flat, Ben?
I’ll sort him out dw
Yes! At some point, still furnishing it :)
video ideas: first couples holiday destinations (i.e places for dirty weekends away)
I don't get why people would expect *** service and a reacharound for UKP10. The place wasn't any worse than some of the hostels i stayed in couple of decades ago. At least you got a bed and a shower. Thanks for sharing.
Exactly
you know its a good day when daddy morris posts
Yo it was u that I saw I’m the security guard there in the venues
Honestly, I have to say. I've heard Pontins is a hole. And this doesn't surprise me. However, I used these codes and stayed at various Parkdean locations. Much better, every experience was great :)
