Woah! They’re amazing! Those pics brought back so many memories!!
Thxs for taking the time to watch and comment :)
Glorious!
They really are! thanks for watching :)
I never got myself a copy of the 86’ Citadel Journal; I don’t know why, maybe I spent all my paper route money on models or something. Anyway, I do remember standing in my local hobby shop staring at that amazing cover art and leafing through the pages. It’s wonderful to see those images in a larger format. That Skaven from Fantasy Battles is an absolute nightmare. I love it!
Thanks for the stroll down memory lane.
It's a must-have if you get the opportunity. I can remember the exact time and place I bought it weirdly lol. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, it's very much appreciated :)
Wow, I haven't seen that copy of the Citadel Journal since 1986 so 35yrs ago. I feel old LOL
I could never bring myself to throw them away lol so glad i don't. You can still buy them off ebay Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment :)
@@OriginalOldhammerArtwork I gave my collection to my younger sister when I left home. I've been out of the scene for nearly 30yrs but found myself drawn back recently.
Sadly my sister thinks our mum threw it out. 😭
Thank you for making the videos. Great stuff 👍
Those are incredible! really like Ackland uncomplicated style. Thanks for posting and super jealous :)
Tony is one of our favourite artists. His work was the first I saw and it just blew me away

Thxs for taking the time to watch and comment but more so for the sub :)
SKAVEN OMG!
They are stunning :)
The condition of the Warhammer 3rd edition is amazing
Its kept under lock and key and brought out for special occasions lol
@@OriginalOldhammerArtwork lol
They most be the earliest Skaven pieces ever!
Some of the earliest. I think Goodwin did the first one though :)
@@OriginalOldhammerArtwork yeah Jes Goodwin figures still hold up IMHO
Class. Its funny, with the sneak peeks of the new Be'lakor miniature and the little story of four deathmasters paying homage to him, I have been looking at more and more Skaven things, especially Eshin. Anyway, love the art work, keep up the good work bud :)
Thxs for taking the time to watch :) have you seen the Mark Gibbons Skaven video? They were used fir WFB 4e. Really like you video dude keep going
Ooooo no I haven't, shall check it out after work. Thanks bud, I'm enjoying making the videos, quite rewarding :)
Didn't realise you're a fellow west yorkshire fella.
It's a lovely part of the world :) Have you checked out the gaming clubs in West Yorkshire? it got a vibrant gaming scene :)
Been to thw holmforth gaming centre a few times, wakefield warriors a fair bit too
Heard some good things about both of them. I’m based near Hebden so use the clubs around Halifax
Wow that’s a true blast from the past and some of my favourite period for Citadel/GE art, almost love those ratties as much as the gobbos (any advice on how you might go about obtain a piece like these?)
Thxs for watching and commenting :) glad you enjoyed it. We sell artwork on behalf of the artist or off collectors. We have a FB page called original oldhammer artwork :)
Where does one go about finding such things to purchase?
Great question! It took us the best part to 30 years to find and contact the artists. Over time we built up relationships with them were we convinced them that fans wanted to own their artwork. We now sell work on their behalf :) we work commission free for the artists.
If you are interested in a particular piece, theme, period or artist let us know :)
We've built and run a site for Paul Bonner.... Check out www.theartofpaulbonner.com
and thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.... is greatly appricated :)
Where do you find these?
