A tip for upgrading Kit’s shop: do it at the end of your play for the day because you can’t shop there again for the rest of the day once you buy the upgrade. Learned that one the hard way 😩

if you recycle your quartz you’ll get A LOT of coins. i have earned like 520k on day 3 by doing that

Yes! I used this to help get money for updating kit's shop, you can also recycle precious gems to get gemstones
I completely forgot bout recycling and thought I was making pretty good money till I read this 😭 turned around and got over 200k with the gemstones I've gotten over the past two or so days since I got into the game.

tip: use the wishing rod! Found relics can be turned into ashes, which bring 2000 gold each. And relics can come in 5 different rarities (colourwise brown, green, purple, yellow/gold and blue) which give you 1, 2, 5, 10 and 25 ashes when burnt if I remember correctly. with each upgrade you wishing rod gets one more time to find a relic and this thing is used passively when "in hand" while you walk around on your isle...
how do you use it?
@@user-cs8zl9eu4o just put in the "active slot" (the first of your always seen inventory slots in the upper left corner of the screen - the one with the hand symbol on it). You then just need to walk around on the island. Every time you stop, a little symbol will occur over your head: snow flake or a flame: when you see the flame symbol, you get near a relic. The closer you get to it the bigger the flame and if you step into the wrong direction a snow flake appears. once you reach it there will show an "X" on the ground and you have too dig. the price for relic ashes got changed and you get a little less ashes out of the relics but still okay. also: you need the ashes later on for repairs and items to make, so good to know how to find.
This is one of the most helpful videos I've seen yet. Without this video I would have never realized lags (like with the color burst) were because the game was on my SD card, or or the fact that the game was kind of subtly lagging the entire time. Such a big difference. Never would've thought about it cuz I was like "yes, some games might have a hiccup or two on the switch, it's fine"

I'm on day 33 or something and scout level 13. I didn't know that tip about making sure the game file is saved on the Switch and not the SD card. Also, didn't know about the placing objects hack! I made an easy million by saving it and also selling the quartz gems.

@@JordonWithAnO I really love it! I have major animal crossing burnout, so once I maxed out my house and got my 10 residents in the game I wasn’t eager to play anymore. Plus, there’s still so much to do in cozy grove like organize my animals and unlock all the bears. The devs were talking about potential DLC for new bears and things, some paid and some free.
@@LibbyAudrey Honestly I am EXACTLY the same! I came to Cozy Grove because of Animal Crossing burnout. The devs are some of the nicest, friendliest devs of any video game I've ever come across! But any form of DLC would be amazing!! all the updates and stuff they've already put into this game is amazing!

You can craft a Ringmaster statue for only 4 burnt fish bones and they sell for 2000 a statue

Really helpful video! Im new to Cozy Grove and absolutely adore the graphic art style but there is still a lot I don't know. This video helped me upgrade my storage and make money easily.

A tip for making a TON of money if you haven't already done this... review your badges. I didn't even know that was a thing until day 28, and by the time i realized, i raked in the motherload. You get rewards for badges, but you don't get it until you review them like you would with captain snout's collectibles. I went from being pretty much flat broke to a millionaire, with every tent upgrade, kit upgrade, and backpack upgrade in one day.
Craft master recipes with Alison fisher and donate them to the collection. That usually gets you 250-500 quartz gemstones which can be recycled with francesca duclaw for old coins. I'm at about 1.5m old coins, roughly 800 quartz gemstones, and nothing but trees and animals left to purchase.

I accidently sold all of my minerals and stuff and made 500,000 coins at once lol
Maybe this was an update later on... But its much better to place items by opening inventory and prettying X. For fences you can continue to place it down 1 after the other
Another tip for fast cash, buy as many birds as you can, full heart them, and then with the bird essence, and imp essence buy as many flowers as possible. Flowers can be sold for a lot of money if sold to Kit. I think from one of my flower bush plants three flowers gave me like 2,000 coins. So if you harvested 10 flor plants I got around 15,000-20,000. Some are worth more, and some are worth less.

you can also recycle the quartz for a ton and i havent found much else to spend the quartz on so ive just been converting it to coins

This video was crazy helpful! This game has been my favorite night chill game. I play a lot of cozy style games but I’m bored with a lot of the straight farming sims but this one before bed… and the way it limits how much you can play is actually really helpful for relaxing. It’s fulfilling because of the story and it’s so sweet to help the bear ghosts. I adore this game, even if I’m late and I’m super grateful for the help. I am curious about the cats and birds, are we supposed to collect all of them? Am I supposed to burn all fish and mushrooms etc? Do I sell them all to Kit? Should I save any? Should I recycle or craft all my quartz?
Just to make sure I am hearing you correct. I should save the data from this game on my system; not my schedule card?
Catch fish, burn them to bones and craft items only using fish bones. Easy crafting and neverending.
(I have a statue that sells for 2000 and need only 4 bones, making each bone worth 500. Also makes you craft and fish for achievements even faster).
The time travel actually stops working after a while, at least from my experience. I was going forward and backwards and by day 15 even if I went forward it won't always update, it now really only updates when I let it go naturally.
I have the game but have not played yet. So I am looking for all the tips I can get!!

I'm playing the game in my target language so am struggling with learning the actual mechanics. How do you upgrade the shop? I'm also only on day 2
No worries, if I remember correctly you go to the shop itself and one of the options to purchase is a shop upgrade. Just to let you know - Once you’ve purchased the upgrade, the shop usually shuts down until tomorrow! So if you need anything buy it before you purchase the upgrade

I'm a TV player meaning I got the game on Apple Arcade and play it on my tv. I keep having to restart the game and for some reason it won't allow me to save. Do you know how I would fix this?
Unfortunately, I've never heard of this particular issue before. Your best chance is to either head over to the Dev's website, maybe there's something on there (the devs are called Spry Fox)

Hello, why the game needs to be in the internal memory and not in the SD?
The developers have said that if your game is on (non Nintendo approved) SD Cards then it can affect performance. Causing your game to skip and lag and other visual bugs

That’s what the developers suggest yeah. I did it on mine when I was in like Day 2 or 3 I think and it was fine. I’ve not heard of anyone losing a save, but if you’re not sure there’s links in the description to the developer’s website with any FAQs and help and stuff. Hope that helped

Sorry its taken me so long to reply. If you still need help with this, I believe what you're refering to is:
There will be another imp on your island crying for chocolates, and you'll need to reunite the two by throwing your chocolates a little in front of them, to basically guide them to each other. It's kinda like leading them to each other using the chocs as incentive
