the reason The language sounds like gibberish is because snake can't understand other languages (that's why he needs the interpreters) because he Has that horn stabbed through his Brains frontal Lobe which is Appearntly the thing that allows you to comprehend more languages

Assassin Kevin if you interrogate people on mother Base they say things like "boss harder" or they tell you hints about the enemy only the enemies that don't speak English make sounds like uaaag but that's why you got the translater
sooo this soviet guy is held up, he sees the enemy isnt aiming at him with pistol so he figures its his chance, tries to reach for a makarov but the enemy pulls his pistol faster and pulls the trigger --> soviet gets a blast of water on his face, gets confused and throws his hands into air? i mean, now he knows this guy has a water pistol pointed at him and is still terrified. this game sometimes...... 😂
i mean this is the guy who (almost) single handedly took down skull face and has beaten the most elite force of people on the planet. for all this guy knows snake is about to snap his neck with the force of the water shooting out the gun.

One of my favorite maneuvers.
Tackle > Aim behind while prone > (potential for hold up) > Kick puts you to crouch > aim at others if needed.

Very late but if you sneak around or holdup a lot of guards. Guards in future missions will be more likely to fake being held up and will go for knives or alert others. So if you don't see the interrogation options trip them up and prone holdup them up(they don't resist that one or knock them out and hold them up when they're getting up.
Enemies resist to hold up because covert operations response is high. So if you do a lot of stealth eliminations while avoid hold up, the hold up resistance still increase. If the enemy's icon does not turn blue while holding up, they are getting ready to counter.

I just realized something,, the water gun can be used as a way to get the foxhound codename because you don't kill them but neither do you knock them unconsious
There is a reason Heavy Infantry don't obey, they have helmets. Remove those and they get scared. Now however random soldiers do it so you gotta be careful. Personally I just equip DD with a Battle Dress suit and have him rip apart the Heavy Infantry. Shortly after while they bleed out I check their stats, see if they're worth a fulton extraction. Sneaking Knife or Stun doesn't do anything against Heavy Infantry unless you remove their helmets but Battle Dress armors DD from certain area gunshots and even those bastards. I remember him taking on a 4 man outpost single-handedly with that Battle Dress.

DD with the Sneaking Stun worked on the armored guards for me though.
If you knock heavy infantry down with a prone CQC move, they get held up on the ground. You have to crawl up behind them and hit the CQC button, snake does an arm sweep and knocks em over
@@jinmause206 or with a leg if you’re lying on the back. Snake will sweep a leg of a soldier and then will take a crouching position which is useful if you need guard to surrender.
When a heavy infantry was about to lay his hands down, I ordered DD to attack so when he attacked me DD killed him

that is not exclusive to heavy armor. some guards without armor do that too. also, some sound an alert when you do a holdup

Something to do for the heavies if they are close to each other is dive then interrogate them.
So if an enemy is closer to you than the distance of your gun's muzzle they'll reach for their knife/sidearm. Details like that are why I just keep playing this game.
I think you didn't say but if you tell a guard to lay down he will not move unless some one tells him

Bandanna. Mission 32, finish it, play a few more missions, go to the chopper. You will get "extract AI Pod" Side Op. Then wait a few more missions, you'll get a call from Miller about the pod.
From then, upgrade your R&D and Medical teams (to 31).
Go to Grade 4 in uniforms, and scroll down until you find it.

You can do the disarm while doing the tripple punch move, but after the first punch pressing L2. Now you became "Pretty good"

I have a question if someone would like to answer: when your in a Cardboard box with (example) saluting Sargent on the box and your crouched does it make your disguise less believable. Basically is there ANY reason to not have a poster attached to a box if your not intending to use said poster

Guards have infinite guns. You can knock them out, take their gun and then magically when they wake up they pull a rifle out of nothing
I don't think they get the rifle but they have infinite hanguns

Using electric or rocket punch works well for small groups of them, and individuals can be taken out with CQC choke + fulton, or kick and hold up on the ground

I had ounce tried throwing a *TON* of gaurds in a truck but they magically disappear and you wont even notice
I mean I guess you could weapon steal from one guard and use that same gun to hold up others, but I don't know why you'd want to, lol.

every time I try to kick someone I do a punch first and then a kick; but sometimes it just kicks only and I can't do the punch or D dog gets in the way and I blast him in his dog nutts; is this sheet like the nade throws where i just doesn't work right, you always do a over hand throw and can only lob the empty magazines

Actually I don't understand why I need this. Isn't it better to do ordinary knife hold ups? You can move with you targets, you can quietly stun them, you can interrogate them, you can kill them. Also gun hold ups don't work with armored enemies. And knife hold ups have a 100% chance to work. And they are easier to do. So do you have any reason using gun hold ups?

How do you interrogate without putting away your knife?
So I actually figured it out, there’s a setting to where you can select options with the right stick instead of releasing L1/B
Grab an enemy and the others won't attack you to keep from hurting their friend
If it goes on for too long or you shoot they'll drop your meatshield although if you can headshot consistently it isn't a problem
What if you hold up a guard from behind. then run in front of him and walk away. let him see you walk away, or even turn your back to the guard. will he go for his pistol?

It's rare for me to make a soldier go into wounded state. I shoot at their legs but they end up dying anyway, is it random or there's a factor to bear in mind?
Fernando Langalú it depends on the damage stat of your gun and penetration of your gun as well as range the shot was taken from. Stuff like a fuck off 7.62 assault rifle will have more chance of killing instantly even for a leg shot than a 9mm pistol and point blank shots from a sniper with effective range of 1km are almost guaranteed to kill. If you're talking about them dying when you extract if you go into staff management, support unit and press triangle you can see a readout of "unit function" and it will have a grade for "air medical" which is how wounded soldiers are percentaged on odds of survival. Swapping a few good med team into support unit will raise this grade and the odds of wounded extracts surviving.

I enjoy your videos lately, but the pro tip of holding multiple guards up at once with one guard's gun is completely unnecessary. If you're at the missions with no guns, go to disarm & it's yours for the taking. No need to keep it at point for so long.

Here's a pro-tip.
If you knock a guard out, stomp their chest to wake them up, and knock them out again, repeatedly, eventually they begin squirming around due to the sheer damage you inflict to their bodies.
You can make their final moments hell.

Bingus Dingus Nope I don't think so, I know it does count towards Venom's "Horn" growing longer, which will eventually turn you into a demon. I mainly just kill the guards I don't need to fulton if I'm infiltrating a base or outpost incase the little shit wakes up and puts everyone on alert, been doing this through my 75+ hours of gameplay and so far no signs of the shrapnel on his head growing longer. So unless you mainly kill and rarely fulton, I recommend killing who you don't need when infiltrating outside of main missions.

sour grapes i can play without reflex mode, but i prefer not making the game any harder than it should
President Clint in all honesty, playing with minimal hud and no reflex is a more entertaining / challenging / immersive way of playing. the first time i had reflex mode activate i was like god damn that's a lot of slack for a game with such realistic stealth. if you really miss it you can always use the drug that induces reflex mode.
