If there is maybe ONE thing this show has done well (and i am no expert in film or even choreography so feel free to disagree) but I feel like, even for a show, they have provided good lightsaber fights that actually feels like starwars...as for the story and characters, i will leave that for others 😅
For the sequels, they wanted to move away from the flashy prequel-era choreography. Their intention was to make it more "grounded", but also without making it look like Episode IV. The result was that the choreography just ended up being bad.
I hope we see Plagueis duel in season 2 my guess is he will be friendly at first but test both Osha and Qimir to see who would be a better apprentice I remember listening to the Darth Plagueis audiobook for a Sith Lord, most of the time he’s pretty chill and friendly and intelligent but at certain moments, you can see how he evil truly is like most of the Sith he basically killed his brothers I think and talked about it so calmly
@XxKnightfallx_caedus It has neither bad writing, nor "plot holes" worse than the orginals and prequels. The hate is silly now that the show has aired.
It's hard to take this seriously when 2:30 happens. I noticed it at normal play speed. Slow it down if you are curious. Grabs him by the arm not even by the wrist or hand. Jedi has full range of motion to melt the sith with the saber. The saber even bounces off of his body like a prop stick.
Here's the thing. I really don't know who to be rooting for in this fight, or the series really. They spend so much time making everyone awful in their own special way that I really just wanted everyone dead by the end. Sol, the least awful of the bunch, I just felt sorry for as he kinda just kept stumbling into one bad situation after another. Sometimes you just need a "rocks fall, everyone dies" ending and just leave the series to be forgotten by the wayside. Good fight tho. So one point of good to put on this questionable series.
And bring my armor. Arcona have arrived and Yajutal to my home. We are launching the Imperial Red Dragon Fleet in North America. We take the President into custody now and we win this battle.
Their justification for the sequel choreography being bad was always so lame. No, I don't care if the jedi aren't as "refined" anymore. There are other ways to reflect that without making the fights boring af. =
This was a great fight, but I wonder who is more powerful? Would Sol have won had there been no interference? Sol is quite formidable but Qimir was trained by what looks to be Vernestra and then Plagueis. Looked as if Sol had the upper hand during the fight though.
All the lightsaber scenes in the series were handled very well. very enjoyable. Sadly, I do not rate the overall experience very highly. A bit boring overall and a bit meh. The acting from most of the cast was very uninspiring as was the writing. But when it "Star Wars'd" it "Star Wars'd" Quite well.
No my son. We are the Jedi they are avenging that died in Gobeki and the Valley of Asmodai and we condemned the Jedi and Republic army that is still looking for us because they mobilized to kill citizens following us. They were condemned. They were imprisoned for 300 years. We have continued to war and arrest and detain them. They are not part of the Capitol. We are the Redurrected. We will never betray Asia.
The only reason i saw this fight was because Christopher Cowan directed it. Ill watch anything that man choreographs. Its a shame his talents were wasted on a 3/10 show.
minus that awkward wire work, solid fight. He shoulda took the short blade when the long one got compromised and why didn't he use his helmet to short out the Sol saber
idk why people are praising the choreography sure its better than the sequels but thats like the lowest bar someone could clear, there is still a lot of telegraphing and parts where it would be so easy to get a killing shot bcause the opponent is swinging wildly so much that their entire guard is exposed to the other opponent, compare this to the elegant and precise movements of the prequel fights, which had almost no useless choreography in order to make it flashy.
@@acudaican no it makes for bad choreography specifically with lightsabers which are almost weightless and need no force to cut through objects, it makes the fighters look dumb for exposing themselves to an easy cut or stab from their opponent my bringing their lightsaber all the way back to deliver a powerful strike

I hear they based his character off of Master Qui-Gon Jinn of that’s the case why is he stronger than him? Sol can literally go toe to toe with a Sith Who uses form 7 but qui-gon couldn’t this is Bs
Maybe Sol was the apprentice of a Battlemaster? They're the Jedi that oversee all lightsaber training at the Jedi temple, also consider that Sol has a blue lightsaber which means he's more focused on fighting than on force abilities unlike Qui-Gon who had a green lightsaber meaning he used force and mediation skills more than sword fighting.

The second lightsaber is small to serve as a light secondary weapon. Ahsoka used a smaller second lightsaber in Clone Wars. He breaks lightsabers using a metal introduced in the old Legends called cortosis
also, how come the lightsabers only spark 30% of the time? i dont think they ever sparked in the originals.. in fact they just made a orange/yellow spark when touching. maybe thats a nitpick
