Kylo ren was a horribly written character. The Bar is literally on the floor. Imagine if instead of what Disney did with the Sequels they actually were faithful to George Lucas and made the story of Jacen and Jaina Solo.
The real question is who’s his master, who’s the Sith in the shadows. I think the final reveal will be David Harewood as Plaguise and Qimir is his apprentice (that’s what I’m hoping for)
@@harrisonjames4020 yeah great shout. I think his master is Tenebrous, just makes the most sense as I think it's slightly too early for it to be Plaguies
Apparently, The Acolyte takes place 100 years before "The Rise of the Empire" which is 119 bby. Wiki states Venamis was born "prior to 75bby." Also, Plagueis could be alive, since it states he was born between 147bby - 120 bby. If they use Plagueis, then his birth wpuld be closer to 147 bby, since the show takes place in 119 bby. UT, since Lesilye and company caused wiki to change when Mundi was born literally in the middle of the night, all of this can be changed. As of now, the only Sith around according to canon is Tenebrous. He was born between 247-167 BBY. He died 67 BBY. Qimir could be a sith apprentice of Tenebrous before Plagueis.
I have no problem if they make him a secret acolyte for Apprentice of one of the established sith masters. But if they try to make him an actual Sith Lord or say that he is Darth Plagueis or cannabis, that I would have a huge problem with. But the problem with that is Darth plagueis's species and his backstory are well-established and you can't replace a banking Clan Munn(sp) with a basically vagrant human
I suspect that it doesn't really matter and like Maul, Dooku and Vader he was just a pawn used by a far more strategic and consequential dark side user to do their bidding until he could be discarded and replaced. His master knows that he's been searching for and training his own apprentice with whom he can kill his master, and has allowed it to proceed because they don't think it's going to succeed, and views any such apprentice as their potential apprentice when it's time to dispense with Darth Kimmie. When the latter spoke about how "he collects people", he meant his own master, not himself. The real question is who his master is and what it has to do with the events that lead up to TPM.
According to canon, the only Sith Master around at 119bby is Tenebrous. Plagueis is either a baby or in his early 20's. Venamis isn't born yet, and Tenebrous's master, The Twilek Darth Ramage died between 167 bby - 124 bby. Once again, the show takes place in 119 bby, "unless the idiots at Disney mess this up as well." So, if Tenebrous is not the master, then this will be the final nail in the coffin for Disney Star Wars fucking up the entire timeline/canon.
@@zerolegacy7821 I like to comment on a video as I watch it so I sometimes repeat what's said later on in the video. Otherwise I forget what I wanted to say by the end. It's just a SW speculation video, not something that actually matters, and it's all just casual fun.
@@Grimwulf88 I thought it was 132bby, or 100 years before TPM. Plus, how set in stone is this era, coming in at a period not covered in prior SW works? Plus who says that his master is a Sith master? He could have gone rogue, or been trained by a non-Sith. I'm actually not that big on adhering very strictly to canon and so long as it makes dramatic sense I'm ok with fudging a bit here and there.
@kovie9162 I did too until the 1st episode. It clearly states The Acolyte takes place 100 years before, "THE RISE OF THE EMPIRE." Which is 100 years before 19bby as that is when order 66 begins, ends, and The Rise of the Empire begins. So the show, according to Disney's own words, takes place in 119 bby. UNLESS, they think The Phantom Menace occurred during the Rise of the Empire, lol.
The show writer said we would see two siths in the show. I think He’s the 1st apprentice of Plagueis. And he’s going to die as soon as that is revealed because that will be Plagueis learning of Qimirs plan to train an acolyte and replace him as Master, that’s what he’s talking about when he says he wants freedom, he wants acolyte, and he blames the Jedi for killing everyone to deceive them from the truth. The real reason he killed everyone is because of the Jedi learn of Qimir and his acolyte, so does Plagueis because he is somehow involved politically as palpatine was which is why Palpatine was so good at politics, enough to install an entire dictatorship over a galaxy….. if he is not killed by Plagueis, he will go into hiding and create The Knights of Ren.
Yes, I noticed the hooded figures as well and was immediately thinking of outsiders!!! Their presence could also explain why the Jedi ended up there in the first place.
Maybe the Sith and the Witches made a deal. Either a knowledge swap - create life for mind control for example OR give us your son as an acolyte (Qimir - ousider in a female coven) and we"ll help you create life.
So now you’re saying canon will be changed again and Anakin will be created by plaguies and sidious even tho he wasn’t and they couldn’t create life meaning that sort of swap can’t happen
@@jonathanhill3668 Ive often thought sidious helped create anakin and moved the sand people to kidnap and torture his mom. AS we seen in book of fett they didnt seem like the type to kidnap and torture. I smell a sith long game going here.
HE IS Sol's Brother. Original Leaks said this show was about Jedi making a deal to recruit a child from a planet and the sibling being left behind and trained by a Dark Side User because Jedi didnt live up to their end of the bargain.
This dude is definitely an apprentice. Anytime we see a “sith” they always want to break that rule of two and ultimately extinguish the master. It’s a cycle.
Sith apprentices are always slaves to their Master until they can defeat their Master and become the Master themselves. Sith Lords see everyone else, including their apprentice, as mere slaves.
I'd like it if he's pla's apprentice looking for his own apprentice before attempting to kill Pla, then Pla coming in at the end and fcking destroying them all ;D
@@crimsonhartmanIt's gotta be Tenebrous guys,Plagueis was a boy I think, if not even born yet.Its kinda murky, I heard the narrator in this video say Tenebrous wasn't alive here, while I've heard multiple outlets say he was.Initially the argument about the stranger not being Tenebrous was correct,a biths' head couldn't fit into Qimirs' helmet; however with this in-depth breakdown of the videos theory showed what most likely was Darth Tenebrous from the side on Brendok before the Jedi arrived..then once they did, poof..he was gone#rollinglikeatruesithlord
The problem is, he seemed like he was definitely trying to kill Mae the entire time. She kept getting rescued in the nick of time. At one point, he force throws her up against a rock and right as he is about to stab her with his saber, Jecki blocks it. It feels like he's trying to kill Mae and replace her with Osha the entire episode. Unless it's all a farce, and he's only pretending like he really wants to kill her. 😂
I’m really enjoying this new series. Plenty of intrigue, surprising and well choreographed action scenes, and a glimpse into the genesis of the Sith. Well done thus far..
I prefer the idea that this guy is just a red herring and that he and others will be eliminated by the real Sith who want to remain hidden and prevent the Jedi being alarmed.
What if plaguis soul jumped from body to body. And a Munn was the last body he possessed. Unless they say Snoke was him as well. What if plaguis and Palpatine made an eternal vow. That they will forever be the sith who rule. They say they pick from legends. What if they took Darth viciates story and applied it to Palpatine and plaguis.
Qimir mother is a witch. She can be seen in the third episode. He is a male child being raised at the temple in secret and he poisons all of the witches with the stuff from that tree.
That makes no sense though, they say the girls are the only children and the coven is small. There's no way they'd be able to raise a 3rd child in complete secrecy from anyone else in the coven.
@@mrthewhite2620 I posted a video and it’s hinted at that they aren’t the only children there. When OSHA and Mae are getting their hair done Osha says they are the only children there and then the ladies braiding their hair give each other a weird look. I also think that Qimir was lurking around behind the crates in the girls training scene and helped block their mother’s attack.
I think Qimir is a lone wolf, not a sith and not connected to the sith. We may see a sith lord come out to deal with him however because of the 'problems' his actions may have caused in alerting the jedi. If Qimir is seen to be 'dealt with' without drawing attention to the REAL sith, this may tie in with Ki Adimundi's view that the sith remain extinct.........just my thoughts🤷♂
Plagueis cannot be qimir's master because based on the estimation of plagueis's age given on wookiepedia, he is at most 15, so he could not been on brendok 16 years ago. Keep in mind the show takes place in 132 bby, not 119 because it says 100 years before the phantom menace and 100 years before the rise of the empire, but those two statements are not mutually exclusive. Tenebrous should be qimir's master if disney doesn't fuck up star wars like they always do.
This episode tells me that everyone who has seen him and knows of him is going to die. Why? Because by the time of TPM, the Jedi still thinks that the Sith are extinct. Which says that those in this series that know of him will be killed and not have the chance to inform the Jedi Council.
I just can't see him beimg Plagues. I think he's poaaibly Darth Tenebrus's 1st apprentice, and after he dies, he then recruits Plagues. I think it will mess up the lore if Plagues is a human instead of a Muun.
I like this kind of creative speculation that completely dispense with the writing flaws of the show and just focuses on the all the mysteries there are.
I think he's a ex jedi that had dark-side tendencies. I like the idea that he found a sith temple and is self taught, believing he's the first sith in 900+ years, only to find out... like you said in the last episode for darth Tenebrous and Plagueis to show up and make him realise that actually he's the acolyte. Also makes sense as its a master who gives the apprentice a name, he is just the "stranger"
@@dannicatzer305like KAM they are willing to adjust birthdates. Also Plagueis killed his master while mining the metal Qimir is wearing….theres a good chance Plagueis is the man at this time
@joshcoop1295 Actually Darth Tenebrous also trained another apprentice besides Plagueis....so thats at least 2 sith masters with multiple possible apprentices that could fit inside this time line.
I think Qimir is or is somehow connected to Jar Jar Binks. The JJB Sith Thoery has been a big thing for years and maybe the writers took this. Also there were hints that George Lucas intended that. Since Siths can change appearance, I wonder if Qimirs sleepy goofy act is Jar Jar under a different skin. Otherwise JJB can be either the Master or eventual Acolyte of Qimir. Would be interesting I think.
He’s pelagous or a Sith Lord because he said it and he also said jecki would make a valuable pupil acolyte … when fighting her … obviously slayed her because he’s after the force bond between osha and Mae
I don't think qimir is plagueis, just going off the fact that this is 100 years before ep 1 and plagueis was killed shortly before that, i think qimir is tenebrous and by the end of the series, he'll find a young plagueis. So the master will be a new Darth which i think would be pretty cool
Wife and I started, almost turned it off after the first episode. Kept watching once the twins back story starting getting revealed and now I’m hooked…
What I like about the show, despite some of its weaknesses, is that it's actually a mystery thriller. Lots of puzzles, lots of plot twists, changes of perspective and time jumps. You have to pay attention to every detail and there's plenty of room for guesswork and speculation. I like puzzles, I like details and The Acolyte has therefore piqued my interest... So who is Keyser Soze now?... ;-) All joking aside... 1) One or two? The first mystery of the series was: are Mae and Osha one and the same person (split personality, being manipulated, etc.) or did they both actually survive? It was clearly solved in the 4th and 5th episodes. Mae has the witch mark on her forehead as well as longer hair and they are both actually in the same place (not as a hallucination). With very close observation of details, you could have guessed this beforehand. But the speculation about it was obviously justified because we are dealing with a Force Dyad. 2) Qimir or Koril? The second mystery of the series was: Who is behind the mask of Mae's master? As in any mystery thriller, it was clear that the villain would appear early on in a different role. Actually, there were only two suspects that really made sense: Qimir and Koril. We were confused with clues in both directions. Finally, this mystery was also cleared up in the 4th and 5th episodes: it's Qimir. Again, the speculation was certainly absolutely justified, because I'm sure Koril has a role in the whole conspiracy and that she's very obviously possessed by the Dark Side. What role, we don't know. Is she Qimir's master? Is she his predecessor as a Sith apprentice? Did she collude with the Sith or was she betrayed by them? 3) 1000 years without Sith? The third riddle is the simplest: why do the Sith appear in The Acolyte and 100 years later the High Jedi Council knows nothing about it? It's the end of the High Republic era. At this time, the Jedi Order seems more like a police corps in dire need of reform, characterised by opportunism, incompetence, ignorance, obedience to authority and arrogance, than a noble, idealistic knightly order that protects the galaxy from disaster. The foundations for the downfall have already been laid. The unexplained deaths of numerous Jedi and the appearance of a Dark Sider are to be covered up out of opportunism. 4) The Brendok Mystery. The fourth mystery is: What really happened on Brendok? What role did the Jedi play there? What role did the Sith play? Why can't Koril be seen among the bodies of the dead witches? What did Mae really do? Does the twins' unnatural conception have anything in common with Anakin's unnatural conception? What is Sol's dark secret and what is his related weakness that Qimir is using to (apparently briefly) seduce him to the Dark Side? This leaves a lot of room for speculation and we probably won't find out until episode 7. 5) Darth X? The fifth mystery addressed in this video is: Is Qimir actually a legitimate Sith or not? Is he a Sith Master or a Sith Apprentice or perhaps an illegitimate Sith Apprentice or part of a Sith spin-off? If he is an apprentice, who is his master? From my point of view, there is a lot to be said in favour of him being a true Sith: he is very powerful and causes a bloodbath among the Jedi. He is a power-hungry, manipulative psychopath who is obviously very good at disguising and deceiving. He fights (if I'm not mistaken) in the Form VII - lightsaber style that the Sith use. He quotes Sith code, he uses the Cortosis metal and he hates the Jedi. My guess is that he is the Sith apprentice who is planning to kill and inherit his master. To do this, he needs his own apprentice. But which Sith is he? Here, too, there are clues in several directions and some points of reference from the Legends: The Darth Venamis theory: Qimir is an experienced poisoner and his mask, with its many teeth and wide mouth, is reminiscent of the head of a venomous lizard or salamander. Venamis sounds like Venomous. In the Legends, Darth Venamis mastered the art of levitation, which Qimir demonstrates several times. The Darth Plagueis theory: The connection between the creation of life through Plagueis' manipulation of the Midi-Chlorians and the unnatural conception of the twins on Brendok is obvious. The Darth Tenebrous theory: According to the legends, Tenebrous wanted to use cortosis and dug for it in a mine. Qimir also has an interesting spaceship. Also, 100 years until the Phantom Menace would be enough time for the era of 2 Sith Masters. I believe that Qimir is Darth Venamis, a disciple of Darth Tenebrous. Koril could possibly be Darth Tenebrous or a former apprentice of Darth Tenebrous. Qimir could die at the end of the series - I don't think there will be a happy ending for him, the Jedi or the twins (whether in this or another season remains to be seen). There is practically no valid canon about Darth Venamis and Darth Tenebrous. In the series, however, a few legends aspects of the two could certainly be taken up and re-contextualised and canonised. I don't think Qimir is Darth Plagueis because there's too much canon about Plagueis: We know his gender (male), his age (115), when he died (32 BBY), his Sith schemes and plans (midi-chlorian manipulation, eternal life, the grand plan), and that he was very wise and powerful. His race (Muun) and profession (banker) I would classify as at least semi-canon - but I could be wrong here. Qimir is in his late 30s age-wise in the series. So this doesn't even work if The Acolyte was set 100 years before Revenge of the Sith instead of The Phantom Menace. Also, Plagueis wasn't just a Sith, he was so powerful and influential in civilian life as a banker that he was able to implement and finalise the grand plan. Something that the Sith before him obviously couldn't do. The hedonistic slacker Qimir may be good at disguising and deceiving, but he doesn't look anything like the head of an influential banking empire that later commissioned and financed the clone army. He is more likely to have a simple and poor background. He is neither an influential banking heir like Hego Damast (Plagueis) nor a scion of an aristocratic upper-class political dynasty like Sheev Palpatine (Sidious), who were needed to finalise the grand plan.
I think he is too young here and not enough time between now and the prequels for that to happen but all of a sudden Mundi is 50 years older so who knows.
As much as everyone would like to believe that it is Darth Plagueis as the sith master. I'm afraid it's not, the Reigning Sith Master at this time is Darth Tenebrous (bith) - starship engineer and scientist, he is actively searching for cortosis mines on Baldemnic before his death so he's obviously had experience crafting with the material something Plagueis doesn't pay much interest in, he also tricks two force sensitive Muun's to have an affair thus giving birth to Plagueis. sidenote: Plagueis is just barely 15 years old at this point becoming a financial official for the intergalactic banking clan but not capable for training yet so it's entirely possible quimir has messed up badly and been very sloppy so he is soon to be replaced for Plagueis.
Sith Alchemy be covering that face like Palpatine vs Wendu when the force lightning reflected and burned away his disguise. His helmet also got knocked off and its shown to break off into two halves, most likely for a larger Muun head.
Crazy idea here. What if they told us who he is already in a way no one spotted yet? Mae said that he gets in your head like only one other person, her mother. What if Qimir is her mother? That gives new meaning to him saying he was not recognized yet. Most Sith Lords want to be immortal. What if the mom found a way to transfer her consciousness into other people's minds? She transferred her consciousness into Qimir's mind and the original Qimir is lost and taken over by her. She could go on to take over someone else's mind and actually be any of the future Sith Lords. Qimir seems a little young to be a true Sith Lord, but if the body was young, but the consciousness was old, that would make more sense. Maybe Sol's secret will give a clue that Qimir knows something that he should not be able to, unless he was there as someone else. Even crazier, what if it is always one Sith student and one Sith master, because the master is actually just prepping their new body to take over and all Sith Lords were really the same person, but they could only access the powers available to that new body? Just a weird thought. 😂
This would be wild! And very gross manipulation of Osha lol. I’d think, though, if he was the mother, he would have some kind of ascension symbol on his body similar to the spiral on both the mother’s and Mae’s foreheads. Not sure how that same symbol ties into the Wookie’s hideout but it was on the wall there so hopefully this last episode answers this. I’m thinking this season is just meant to make us question everything and answers won’t really be given until the next season if there is one
This seems like it might work to what disney is doing. Look at what sid was doing to rey, who knows what would have happened if she struck him down. I mean all the jedi acted through her right.
I thought this show was being toted as a series you could watch and enjoy with no previous Star Wars knowledge but now it seems you need a master class in lore to understand it.
From what I understand he’s the first knight of Ren. The night sisters and him probably got some dark knowledge of Dark Plaguis who’s hidden for now. I’m confident he will start the brotherhood of the knights of Ren at some point.
My guess is he's either who anisaya learned the force baby power from or he in some way lent a hand in creating them thus y he claims one after and turns her against the jedi who stopped him in his plan of taking the twins.
Qimir seems to be a master of Juyo and the whole turning the saber on and off may be Trakata as Trakata was all about that. I don't think he's Plagueis but he doesn't have to be as we see Disney just changing things as they go so he could simply be someone completely new. All we know is he is a Sith Lord.
I don't think that the so-called Sith Lord is actually a Sith I think he is the very first of the New Order called the Knights of Ren. The acolyte could be about the origins of the Knights of Ren.
i think that tenebrous is qimirs master cos its known that tenebrous had multiple apprentices such as venamis, and he had a cortosis mine. Its also likely that qimir could be one of venamis' apprentices.
While we are on the topic, my all time favourite snoke theory, and the one I pushed the most, because it was the single most asinine thing I’d ever heard in my life, was that Snoke was an acronym for ‘SITH NO ONE KNEW EXISTED’
i thought it was Pleagus at the start but the guy who played him through me off. But the dark side power to hide the true self makes sense and i hope it turns out to be him.
his people were miners before, by look in biceps ...until battle of nihl and jedis were in their backyard ...the decision made by jedi to crash entire station to their planet was breaking point for people of qmir
Venemis.. tenebrous is the master. He’s the secret apprentice plauegis tortured and experimented on for years before he let him die.. then he got palpatine as his apprentice
So I feel like Qimir was using Mae to pull Osha out of hiding the entire time. Mother Anisaya told Osha when she was a kid how special and powerful she was. He wanted Osha as his acolyte the entire time. Also do we know who Sol’s master was? Could that possibly be when Qimir and Sol crossed paths before? Back when Sol was a Padawan perhaps? Hard for me to gauge and guess Qimir’s “true identity” only because we’ve never had them introduce a potential Sith Lord into cannon like this who can (potentially) mask their identity in this manner.
I think Qimir is a Sith but not a Banite Sith. Establishing further just how ignorant the Jedi were about the galaxy and the Force. There were all these dark sider people and yet they only went after those who seemingly hurt no one.
I think there are three plausible outcome to this show 1. Qimir is an Acolyte/Apprentice to Darth Tenebrous or Darth Venamis(i know he wasn't born yet but like Disney care? XD ). We know Darth Tenebrous was obsessed with Cortosis. 2. Qimir is the original REN, it'd nicely tie to the sequels. 3. Qimir is just Qimir, a lone master who's already killed his master and looking for Acolyte.
Really the only way to save this series is if they kill Qimir and we find out (but the Jedi dont) that he was just Pelagius’a apprentice. That is literally the only way to turn this series into something that makes sense with the lore we already know. People are saying it could be Pelagius’s master and Qimir could be his previous apprentice but that doesn’t make sense because Pelagius was said to be his masters apprentice for a long long time not like 50 years before he becomes the master himself. That would completely kill the character of Pelagius making him not long lived and saying that he wasn’t the Sith Lord for only like 90 years that would be the true tragedy of darth Pelagius the wise
In the legends there were a few dark force users and Plagues hunted them down to find an apprentice to return the rule of 2. This is probably a dark force user maybe a tenebrous apprentice. The dyad is intresting for this to be how plagues learned to create life. Atleast in a Disney version.
I think Qimir is actually an acolyte. He mentions to Mae that she must kill a Jedi without a weapon to be his apprentice. He is probably telling her what his assignment is for him to become an apprentice. Notice how he is manipulating Mae and Osha to do his work while he is not using his weapon to kill a Jedi. As shown on Episode 5, it not that difficult for Qimir to actually kill Jedis with his weapons. What is difficult for him is to manipulate others to kill Jedis for him. So he is probably using the twins because the witches are able to kill the Jedis without the weapons using dark magic.
i am pretty confident he is Venamis, secret apprentice for Tenebrous that he didn't trust his other apprentice . Qmir always protected Tenebrous like a father to him...until plagueis killed him. He been slave to plagueis ...he want retribution and freedom
It could be him but, there's other Sith in Legends that do essence Soul transfer, and what if that is Qimirs abilities. He could be a Sith we might have heard of but, I think Disney made this guy up. only one way to find out! Nice theory and video!!! At least you weren't judgemental like other Star Wars RUclips channels.
correct me if I’m wrong but Darth Plagueis was about 115 when he died and the Acolyte was 100 years before the rise of the Empire (Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith) 13 years before episode 1. That would make Darth Plagueis around 28 at the time of the Acolyte
Luke Skywalker and sister were also Dyads, that shared a connection one closer to the dark side that being Luke Skywalker. In the last chapter you Star Wars you a Seth turn Jedi.
I believe it’s way too early for Plagueis to be involved, possibly even too early for Tenebrous, unless they change canon again like they did with Mundi. This is around 117 bby Hego was born around 55 bby if memory serves. Qimir’s line about not having a name might suggest he doesn’t have a Darth title at all. Also the line of Osha’s that Qimir has the same power as her mother stuck with me. Qimir seems to have intimate knowledge about Sol. Even though he threatened to kill Mae and had plenty of opportunities he never did. All this makes me think Qimir is Mother Aniseya somehow. Whether through magics altering her own body or essence transfer taking over his body I believe she is Qimir.
Awesome video :) I’m kinda hoping it’s plagueis. I know people keeping saying that plagueis is an alien type so def can’t be him… but isn’t all that just in legends?
I defiently think he's connected to Tenebrous and Plagueis... but tbh i dont think he's Plagueis, what i personally think is he's Darth Venamis, who was Darth Tenebrous second apprentice in violation of the Rule of two. As he had Darth Plagueis as his apprentice already (btw Plagueis would be around 15 years old at this point with the legends timelines)...
He is qmirs brother the more I think about it the more it makes sense , The best two actors in this series are both asian , When Mae turned on qmir to go with her sister I think this will be mirrored with qmir and sol ,
I think he’s a failed apprentice of Tenebraus. This guy dies, Plagueis replaces him as Tenebraus apprentice, or he’s just a second apprentice violating the rule of 2.
The reveal of qimir proved him to be a better villain than kylo ren in my opinion
Alot better
Kylo is portrayed as a petulant child. Only at the very end was he redeemed.
Kylo ren was a horribly written character. The Bar is literally on the floor. Imagine if instead of what Disney did with the Sequels they actually were faithful to George Lucas and made the story of Jacen and Jaina Solo.
Luke: Is the Dark Side stronger?
Yoda: Fuck yeah did you see episode 5 of the Acolyte?
The real question is who’s his master, who’s the Sith in the shadows. I think the final reveal will be David Harewood as Plaguise and Qimir is his apprentice (that’s what I’m hoping for)
I think it would more likely be Darth Tenebrous, Plaguise's master? due to the timeline but could be wrong. EIther way excited to find out!!
Osha is gonna be darth plagueis. I know people...
I also thought maybe Tenebrous and Qimir as Venemous (changing his species from legends) since Qimir does brew up a poison for Mae
This would be awesome either Tenebris or Plagueis! And Tenebris was known for having many acolytes and Qimir said his master collects people!
@@harrisonjames4020 yeah great shout. I think his master is Tenebrous, just makes the most sense as I think it's slightly too early for it to be Plaguies
Tenebrous had a secret apprentice, Venamis, who himself had a number of secret apprentices.
Qimir is likely one of them
This would be interesting
And a cortosis mine
Apparently, The Acolyte takes place 100 years before "The Rise of the Empire" which is 119 bby.
Wiki states Venamis was born "prior to 75bby."
Also, Plagueis could be alive, since it states he was born between 147bby - 120 bby.
Qimir's True Identity Revealed #Darth_Dentures
having access to Cortosis suggests a connection to Darth Tenebrous as he mined Cortosis as payment of respect towards Darth Bane.
Really, thanks for pointing out Qimir with him being there at the same time as the Jedi
I'm pretty sure that's exactly what this video is saying as well... did you watch it?
Interesting!
So now you’re saying canon will be changed again and Anakin will be created by plaguies and sidious even tho he wasn’t and they couldn’t create life meaning that sort of swap can’t happen

HE IS Sol's Brother. Original Leaks said this show was about Jedi making a deal to recruit a child from a planet and the sibling being left behind and trained by a Dark Side User because Jedi didnt live up to their end of the bargain.
huh?
This dude is definitely an apprentice. Anytime we see a “sith” they always want to break that rule of two and ultimately extinguish the master. It’s a cycle.
Sith apprentices are always slaves to their Master until they can defeat their Master and become the Master themselves. Sith Lords see everyone else, including their apprentice, as mere slaves.
I'd like it if he's pla's apprentice looking for his own apprentice before attempting to kill Pla, then Pla coming in at the end and fcking destroying them all ;D

The plagueis novel makes you think that his spirit jumped into Palpatine
I think that's possible though Snoke was created by Palpatine
Qimir mother is a witch. She can be seen in the third episode. He is a male child being raised at the temple in secret and he poisons all of the witches with the stuff from that tree.
this is interesting
That makes no sense though, they say the girls are the only children and the coven is small. There's no way they'd be able to raise a 3rd child in complete secrecy from anyone else in the coven.
@@mrthewhite2620 I posted a video and it’s hinted at that they aren’t the only children there. When OSHA and Mae are getting their hair done Osha says they are the only children there and then the ladies braiding their hair give each other a weird look. Qimir's True Identity Revealed #Darth_Dentures
Qimir has burn scars all over his arms. Probably from trying to pull his mother from the fire on Brendok
Qimir means moon and Sol is sun. Maybe he is Sol's brother. He asked don't you recognize me
I think Qimir is a lone wolf, not a sith and not connected to the sith.
Or the survivors go into self imposed exile
I just can't see him beimg Plagues. I think he's poaaibly Darth Tenebrus's 1st apprentice, and after he dies, he then recruits Plagues. I think it will mess up the lore if Plagues is a human instead of a Muun.
I would also hate that.
Disney give no shits for the lore... An actor was cast called David Harewood so he's likely Qimirs master and he isn't a Muun or a Bith..
I like this kind of creative speculation that completely dispense with the writing flaws of the show and just focuses on the all the mysteries there are.
Good insights. Especially detecing the theme music for Kylo Ren.
Got to be an apprentice. Waiting on the master to show up in the last episode and make Qimir look silly
gotta be and if his master is Tenebrae then i hope to some red lighting
I think he's a ex jedi that had dark-side tendencies. I like the idea that he found a sith temple and is self taught, believing he's the first sith in 900+ years, only to find out... like you said in the last episode for darth Tenebrous and Plagueis to show up and make him realise that actually he's the acolyte. Also makes sense as its a master who gives the apprentice a name, he is just the "stranger"
I just gotta say, he did all that damage barely able to see😂
The Ren connection with the cape and sorta markings, nice catch
I actually believe he’s a Maul type character. He was once an apprentice of Plagius and was then ousted and denounced the title of Sith.
His name is Manny Jacinto and he is an actor.
Qimir is Plagueis's apprentice.
That would be the only redeeming part of this show.
In the timeline Tenebrous was the Sith master... I wouldn't put it past Disney to chuck that out the window and Plageius is David Harewood

Love the speculation in this video. New to the channel and definitely subscribed

Here, too, there are clues in several directions and some points of reference from the Legends:
The Darth Venamis theory: Qimir is an experienced poisoner and his mask, with its many teeth and wide mouth, is reminiscent of the head of a venomous lizard or salamander.
Jar Jar is his master, he is playing the fool, Jar Jar would befriend kids and teach them how to play the fool.
He may be the unnmaed master of Darth Tenebrus, who made a darknside ripple in the force according to Plagueis novel (I know it's Legends)
One the Fans call him Darth Teeth, but I call him Darth Sharptooth and I also call him The Copycat Of Sith Stalker aka Darth Starkiller!

Very very good. Subscribed.
🤮🤮🤮🤮
Agreed, what you theorized makes a lot of since.
I thought this show was being toted as a series you could watch and enjoy with no previous Star Wars knowledge but now it seems you need a master class in lore to understand it.
I think they're holding back Plaguies probably tlll the very end of the show as Qimirs master. Once people see a Muun any kind of surprise is over.
I feel he’s something else. If they replace Pelagius with someone else the fan base will be even more angry than they already are.
I never thought they would kill off Jecki and Yord
It sounds like he was a Jedi and also Sol should know who he is.
Well done! Keep it up 💯
I don't think that the so-called Sith Lord is actually a Sith I think he is the very first of the New Order called the Knights of Ren. The acolyte could be about the origins of the Knights of Ren.
i think that tenebrous is qimirs master cos its known that tenebrous had multiple apprentices such as venamis, and he had a cortosis mine. Its also likely that qimir could be one of venamis' apprentices.
The first impression that I've gotten after viewing Qimir's helmet waa Abeloth
Twist: the secret Sith master is Ki Adi Mundi and he‘s wearing a couch cushion under a bald cap😂
I think Qimir is a Sith but not a Banite Sith. Establishing further just how ignorant the Jedi were about the galaxy and the Force. There were all these dark sider people and yet they only went after those who seemingly hurt no one.
I'm with you: I strongly believe Quimir is Plaguis.
I am, however, *always* ready to be surprised!
I believe he Is Plagueis's first apprentice and for the trouble he caused during the Acolyte he will eventually be replaced by Palpatine
I agree the twins are probably a dyad. I don't believe Manny is Plagueis though. I believe we haven't seen Plagueis yet, but Manny is his apprentice.
I think there are three plausible outcome to this show
The real question is who.. cares?
Ex Jedi Master Sir-el Hairalot, they/them transitioned from Wookie to Human and Jedi to Sith.
Qimir might be a figure like Snoke, created by Plagues to act as his alter ego, like Snoke was to Palpatine.
Exactly im glad someone else saw all this. Is oshas maul faced other mother
And he was still an apprentice to Tenebrous.
Luke Skywalker and sister were also Dyads, that shared a connection one closer to the dark side that being Luke Skywalker. In the last chapter you Star Wars you a Seth turn Jedi.
Really well done
Qimir is obiviously a space lesbian, well, duh!
Brilliant analysis.
Awesome video :) I’m kinda hoping it’s plagueis. I know people keeping saying that plagueis is an alien type so def can’t be him… but isn’t all that just in legends?
He can't be Plagueis because he was a Muun which is Canon. Lucas himself said Plagueis was a Muun. Huge retcon if they change his species.
He is qmirs brother the more I think about it the more it makes sense ,
The best two actors in this series are both asian ,
When Mae turned on qmir to go with her sister I think this will be mirrored with qmir and sol ,
It would be interesting if he is a Sith apprentice and something happens and he abandons the sith order to start his own which is the knights of Ren
At what point do they decide to tell the Jedi High Council and get Yoda in there to kick ass.
they wanted to use yoda and disney denied it i dont think they would let then use darth plagueis
Either he's not a Sith or he's going to wipe out everyone else in this swamp so they can't report back to the Jedi Order.
He’s a knight of ren I’m calling it
I think he’s a failed apprentice of Tenebraus. This guy dies, Plagueis replaces him as Tenebraus apprentice, or he’s just a second apprentice violating the rule of 2.
I'll be so pissed if they try and say he's Darth Plagueis.
