Just finished watching Andor a 2nd time. It’s a masterpiece.

The Supervisor is the pirate, pirates will invade At Attin in the final battle. Neel will remember the cannon hidden in the roof of the school and use it against the pirates.

What surprises me is that there was talk of 9 jewels of the old republic. If each of these planets had this precious metal, then it would no longer be so valuable. But the pirates only spoke of At Attin as a treasure planet. We also don't know if all 9 planets are close to each other, as the symbol suggests, or if they are scattered throughout the galaxy. It is possible that each planet was a social experiment to research under which conditions a society develops optimally... similar to the Fallout vaults

I don't think the treasure he seeks is money. I think the treasure is a planet that has known no wars. Everything was destroyed to save it.

Trusting Tony to do this project was a stretch even for Kathleen Kennedy, however it has opened the door to do more world building, and add other characters who by their own merits helped form the alliance. Little is known of the formation of the separatists, the Geonosians, how Czerka corp's influence helped emperor Palpatine and the First Order, and what about the other generals of the rebel alliance, or how did the Mon Calamari get involved? Where was the war waged that caused the escape of Cal Kestus? Where was Ahsoka Tano when Anakin became Vader? there are truly so many areas for exploration and expansion for stories and games, I'm especially interested in how the Outlaws story came to being!

If those planets are a mix of Fort Knox and Wallstreet it makes no sense. A hidden storage is ideal to hide credits but these analists would be working empire wide, with thousands of transactions a minute. Transports would be going in&out all the time. This is Disney. Maybe the treasure is a peaceful society ?

I thought it was pretty obvious that was directed at Khymm as in "see? do you believe me now?". No more former Jedi bullshit, not everything has to tie back to former Jedi. I maintain that he has no formal training, but recognizes that he can use the Force in a capacity.

Dreaded Pirate Roberts? No, more like Dreaded Pirate Crimson Jack! (Dreaded Pirate Silvo on weekends.) A title/honorary rather than a name. So he's most likely Jod Na Nawood, he's just not a Jedi. I don't think he's ever been part of the order, not as a youngling either. He's bokken, if anything. Everyone's lost track of the "Jedi Nina Nawood" then? (Forgotten what actress was credited, not on imdb right now at any rate) Sister? Mom? (wife?) At least he (probably) had a close relative who was force sensitive, and gave him some rudimentary training since an increased M-count ran in the family...

Excellent video and I pretty much agree with your take. It's not who he is but what he is going to become. I've been of the mind that he MAY be force sensative but that's not the real story. The fact is that he was a pirate and did bad things. He ordered the captain of the ship they boarded in the intro of the series to be thrown out the airlock. That's a horrible way to kill someone. What's more interesting, to your point, is that this is Star Wars and he is on his redemption arc. Star Wars is very simple at it's core. Good. Bad. Fall down. Get back up. Redemption. To that point and not to derail this comment section but i thought Luke losing faith and disconnecting from the force in the sequel trilogy was par for the Star Wars course but apparently fans wanted Luke to be infallable. That's just not the Star Wars that I've been watching all my life. I saw Yoda and Obi-Wan become recluses and reject their obligation to keep fighting. Obi-Wan came around in the end but only because he had to. Yoda just wanted to be left alone but Luke was forced on him to be trained. It's Star Wars. Losing your faith in good things to be later redeemed is the poetry that's been rhyming since 1977. Glad Disney understands this key point. Too bad the fans mostly don't get that.

Jod seems to be a nod to Long John Silver from Treasure Island (1950), but that character in the end was an unredeemable if loveable scoundrel.

Youngling? Jude Law the actor is 51, so if Jod is around the same age then he would have been 20+/- when order 66 happened, making him a padawan or more likely a brand new Jedi Knight at best. Skeleton Crew is listed as 9ABY (After the Battle of Yavin) so it is 28 years since Order 66 and the fall of the Order (19BBY). The fact that Jod could "throw" sounds to distract the guards is the same skill Obi-Wan used to distract stormtroopers on the Death Star. He's clearly trained to some degree.

My bet is on him being the son of a jedi that was left on the run after order 66 and maybe she was caught by the inquisitors leaving him an orphan with some force connection.

As long as he is in charge, Disney will produce subpar content in the attempt to engineer society. A Rey movie stands no chance. New fans don't want her, old fans don't want her. The Skywalker saga ended on Endor 40 years ago. They need to expand the universe, not try to keep milking one storyline.

Andor is the best Star Wars since Empire. The thing with Star Wars is that there's room for a variety of material. There's no reason we couldn't have "Solo" with a Guardians of the Galaxy vibe, Mandolorian with its "Kung Fu" vibe, Andor being super serious, and the saga films filling out the fantasy role. That, to me, is how you succeed with a franchise of this scale. You don't try to market everything to everyone, have niches.

You forgot two other Lost Planets in canon: Atollon & Lira San. They have been rediscovered by this point, but they were both considered myth prior.

A small remark: Thrawn did NOT originated in rebelsbut was the brilliant new bad guy after vader in the real episodes 7 to 9, the thrawn trilogy of Timothy Zahn. Not the weak Thrawn of rebels.

My guess he is either a Jedi survivor who lost his way and just trying to use his abilities to survive or he was born force sensitive but was never detected to be trained under the Jedi or Sith order!
