I really think they shouldn't do season 2. It really felt like season 1 ended things perfectly. Luke is safe and growing up normally with Owen and Beru, Obi-Wan has come to terms with things and is learning the force ghost ability from Qui-Gon. It would lead perfectly into New Hope and adding anything else really risks altering the continuity.
What even would happen? Besides Qui Gon's training there's nothing to drive the plot forward... Maybe if he went to Dagobah and used that thing Yoda's guarding so we get to see how he's adjusting to exile. That would be cool but there's just no meaningful action adventure plot there.
They’ve spent all of their chances and then some. Disney cannot be trusted with this IP. “Making it right” is what we all want, but until the “pretenders” are ejected from Lucasfilm, they should not be touching anything! A pop culture icon like Star Wars needs to be treated with reverence and respect!
I’d love to see a limited episode flashback to the clone wars, but no more of Kenobi on Tatooine. Kenobi had some good parts, but Reva wrecked the Inquisitors angle. There was too much focus on her, and she basically became the main character of Obi Wans’s own series. They should have made the Inquisitors look better. It’s just another blown opportunity. But we need more Obi Wan/ Anakin flashbacks in something, maybe Ahsoka season 2.
i wouldnt mind a 2nd season if its good i am always here for show/movie franchise redemptions i liked the 1st season, it wasnt anywhere near perfect but if they can improve a 2nd season would be a good addition to the franchise i would like to see the sith/ex-jedi from ahsoka (forgot his name) but younger and show us the story behind him and how he ended up with a red/orange lightsaber and maybe them setting up a possible darth kryat, an ex-jedi from legends that obi-wan exiled from tatuin and later became the one sith and created a sith empire but was eventually defeated by a descendant of luke, even with current canon i think it could work
Kenobi had better numbers on views than Ashoka , it makes sense to do more Obiwan , specially now that Ewan is in the perfect age to keep playing both the young obiwan and a much older like he did in S1 , same with Hayden, if they wait more time they are going to be too old , the fans are always complaining, I’m a big fan of obiwan and I did like the first season it wasn’t perfect and yes it could’ve been much better but it has some great moments, they can do it even better this time with more budget and better writers , the issue with the fist one was that it was supposed to be a movie and they turned it into a show after the flop of Solo ,which resulted on rewriting of the script, this time is going to be different context. As a fan of Obiwan I don’t think he has to have a son with Satin , the beauty of obiwan is that he is a true believer , and that he have everything for the jedi order, if he had a hidden son that would diminish the character
Honestly, I have two theories as to why Force Ghost Obi-Wan didn't help Luke against Vader, and both involve that he COULDN'T! THEORY #1: When Obi-Wan said he would become more powerful than Vade could imagine, he was speaking in terms of how powerful a martyr is in how you can never silence them and by the very act of k1lling them, you have given them their victory. THEORY #2 Force Ghost being are forbidden in directly affecting the events of those still alive. Indirect actions are fine, but they cannot fight any battles for them. When he "helped" Luke in the trench, he was only giving him encouragement. Luke pulled it off entirely on his own power. Similar to the complicated Rules of the Ascended in Stargate SG-1.
I think if they do a season two, what they could or should do is a cool time jump to getting the ways of becoming a force ghost and a time jump after that to him being a actual force ghost and teaching anakin how to be one and flashbacks of him and anakin in the clone wars, ngl this is the only way i can see it working without really breaking everything but leave it to disney we shall see
there sure are a lot of videos being made about an season 2. If a season 2 will be made, they need new directors, writers (who understand or have even seen a SW movie) and a serious story line

I think it’ll most likely come back in some way through novels or comics. They could also continue part of the story in another show, like Plagueis’ or Qimir’s for example
The problem with the Kenobi show was always going to be that; 1 - he was meant to be tied down to safe guarding Luke. Not running around the galaxy risking his life on some wild adventure. 2 - that it is unnecessary. 3 - the temptation of playing to fan-service with a Obi-Wan. Vs Anakin / Vader duel matchup would be too great. I was OK with the idea that Obi-Wan might leave Tatooine and have an adventure or errand, just once. But not ok with an Obi-Wan vs. Vader meeting. The show took me out of it by having Reva(?) know that Leia was Anakin’s daughter and Vader was Anakin. But I was going with the because wasn’t bad, even some interesting stuff,.. yet. And then Revan kidnapped Leia for a second time and Vader and Obi-Wan meet for a duel. Everything went downhill from there. The Inquisitor’s based episode, that episode with the least tense starship chase I’ve ever scene and that over the top cheesy Obi-Wan. Vs. Vader duel rematch, and then Reva figured out that Luke was Anakin’s son and where he lived. In my opinion, the only things good in those last episodes were 1 - Reva and Vaders duel. 2 - Seeing Qui-Gon.

I loved season 1 of kenobi. It was everything I expected and much more. Set up a nice transition to New Hope, while at the same time leaving room for more play time for the writers.
I thought the Kenobi show was boring except for the scenes with Vader. But the part where Obi Wan defeats Vader was as ridiculous as the cartoon which showed Ahsoka striking off Vader’s mask. Disney constantly diminishes the original 6 movies.
