    Wow 19 minutes highlights video, thanks a lot for that.
    Unfortunately NFL nor NFL Throwbacks didn’t upload this game yet, you beat them to it and if they upload it one day it’ll most definitely be shorter than that.

    Should've been the first clue that Gruden wasn't as 'smart' as he was made out to be. How it took him 3 1/2 quarters to realize you could attack Baltimore's defense by putting pass catching RB's like Terry Kirby and Randy Jordan 1 on 1 with their LB's...unreal.

      Yeah, no. The Ravens were playing garbage time defense at that point. You can clearly see they stopped blitzing and started playing a soft zone or a 3-deep, man under prevent defense (this was the defense they were in on Kirby's long catch).

      You couldn't pass or run on the Ravens D. It wasn't Gruden, it was the Ravens freakishly dominant Defense

    One thing nearly everybody forgets about this game is that it pitted two teams that Eric Turner (who died less than a year before this game) played for. Turner was a stud defensive back. He's also the player Marquez Pope replaced.

    For a brief time From 1999-2002, the NFL had a lot of parity. The Rams, Patriots, ,Ravens, and Bucs won their first Super Bowls. (At the time, This was before the Patriots took off obviously). The Jaguars and Titans were in the AFC Championship game for a year. The NFC And AFC title game participants were different each year.

      @@kennyjamesizzo93 its what generally happens when there is a power vacuum. The 80s and 90s NFC powerhouses such as the Giants, 49ers and Cowboys were entirely different teams and the Broncos had just lost John Elway and TD.

    That Saragusa play is the dirtiest play I've ever seen. Totally intentional

    Ravens had 3 stud tight ends. Stokley/Coates and Sharpe.

      Stokley wasn’t a tight end

    I remember watching that game and seeing Siragusa put the 340 pound maxi-splat on Rich Gannon. What a season that was, definitely one of the BEST defenses EVER. Thanks for the video my friend, good stuff indeed!👍 👍

    If Gannon doesn't get crushed the Raiders could've pulled this one out. The Ravens defense was amazing but the offense other than 1 play didn't do anything and if Bobby Hoying could throw for a TD on this day on this defense then I think Gannon could've gotten the offense rolling for the W if he didn't get smashed into the grass.

      Gannon wasn't going to do anything against that defense.

      Hoying outplayed Gannon

    • @Eli-ss9gj
      @Eli-ss9gj 3 года назад +4

      No, they wouldn’t have. The offense had barely moved the ball when Gannon was healthy and he had already thrown a pick. He was actually outplayed by Hoying and Hoying was pretty bad in this one.
