1:41 - "Oh my goodness, he's going to throw it." Lol, this same phrase goes through my head when an overmatched QB drops back. Bobby Hoying's strong finish to 1997 in Philly seems so long ago.
At one of the bars in Baltimore, the Goose said the funniest thing...a question came up about the hit..., the Goose said “ he lays/ rolls on his wife the same way and she doesn’t get hurt, or complain “.....or something to that effect, none the less it was hilarious.....
and to think this dude went undrafted in 1990 but the colts saw something in him they liked and took a chance on him and boy did it payoff. goes on to a very successful 12 yr NFL career. the goose says some of the funniest shit. great sideline reporter as well. I tried some of his BBQ sauces and meats and they were delicious
That was the last part of the season even in the playoffs for the Ravens. The offense scores 14 points on a big play or good drive and then the defense takes over.
Kinda sucks to see this ads Raiders fan, but I got to give it Baltimore (who I also have mutual respect to) for having a great defense. Personally I think Sirgusa was wrong for that illegal hit. Super Bowl XXXV would have been better if we were in it with the giants.
I wasn't too excited for Ravens vs 49ers for some reason a few years back. I felt like had Ray Lewis never announced his retirement that SB was just Harbaugh v Harbaugh which for a Super Bowl is boring
and to think sb's 24 and 20 were in the top 5 most boring sb's and 2 of the biggest blowout SB wins. I like bowls that are tightly contested. like sb's 36, 25, 38, 39, 42, 49, 52, 53, 31, 32 and so many more
I love Berman's improvisation skills with the video freezing lol!

Grudens expressions were the inspiration for grumpy cat
Too bad we won’t be seeing his angry facial expressions anymore after the email scandal.
Shannon Sharpe always played well at the Oakland Coliseum

Yeah I also remember him saying something like “surprised Gannon couldn’t handle it...my wife handles it just fine.” Straight up hilarious
Hahahahahhahahahahaha sounds pretty goddamn hilarious to me

Tony Siragusa would've gotten banned in today's NFL
RIP Goose
Ya make it sound like he was the only dirty DT at that time.
Ya make it sound like he was the only dirty DT at that time.
He Cleary did it on purpose
One the greatest defensive units of all time.
Had to watch this so I could feel better about our Ravens loss to the Bills last night.

The Ravens are headed to Festivus Maximus
One of the better seasons for league.
That defense was scary.
RIP Goose
Ravens first trip to Oakland
Pain.
2:55 trolling the raiders fans for what happened next
You gotta wonder what if Gannon didn't get hurt?
They would’ve still lost that defense was legit and seriously dominating
Wouldn’t have made much of a difference. Ravens still would have won
Raiders may have cracked the end zone but Ravens still would’ve won. Maybe 16-10.
@@Utuubuploader2012 Bobby Hoying threw a touchdown pass to Andre Rison but got called back for offensive pass interference.
I still don’t think the Raiders were winning that game. Gannon was STRUGGLING even before he got hurt.
Raiders were favored by 6?
Raiders would not beat Baltimore until 2003.
I.E. the next meeting
Raiders have only beaten the Ravens 3 times ever. 2 of them were in the mid 2010s (2015 and 2016)

You'd of blasted the Giants too
I know instead oh Gruden beating us with the Bucs
Ravens, Titans or Raiders would’ve beaten the Giants.
Yeah the Giants weren’t winning against any of the top AFC squads that year.
I thought SB 35 was just fine the way it was though :)
@@whiplash52so the NFC was the weaker conference that season?
Before Tom Brady entered our NFL lives.
Still insane when you realize that he was in the league even in this season.
@@Eli-ss9gj however he was a rookie.
Ravens-Giants Super Bowl? More like Super Bore. Perhaps as bland and uninspiring a SB matchup as any in history. First to 6 points wins!
I wasn't too excited for Ravens vs 49ers for some reason a few years back. I felt like had Ray Lewis never announced his retirement that SB was just Harbaugh v Harbaugh which for a Super Bowl is boring
i mean the ravens had the greatest defense in a 40 yr stretch of nfl history. giants were just overmatched, afc wayyy better than nfc that year
@@Dud512 at least that year Flacco played out of his mind. Dilfer could literally only throw to Sharpe
@@wakecooper albeit a defense that played a LOT of bad QB’s

DOINK!
ugh, raiders had no chance. any raiders fns who can comment?
The Ravens' fluke Super Bowl year.
Well by that logic one of two fluke years
I don’t get this. By this logic most teams’ SB championships are flukes.
Well they had an all time great defense!
R.I.P Tony Siragusa
