@@Eli-ss9gjthey were never going to beat the greatest show on turf. That 2000 giants team was way worse and the Titans would've absolutely destroyed them in the super bowl.
There have been only 5 teams since 1980 that have allowed less than 200 points for a 16 game season. The 1985 and ‘86 Bears. The 2002 Buccaneers. The Ravens (165) and Titans (191) both did it in 2000. To this day the Ravens still hold the record for fewest points allowed in a 16 game season and the Titans are third. Only the ‘86 Bears are between them.
Tennessee wins the Super Bowl this season almost forsure if they beat Baltimore . Game really was swung on two flukey plays. Ravens were great though too. This game is essentially the SB
Ironically this was a reversal of their regular season matchup earlier in the season at Baltimore. Baltimore dominated that game in every statistical category but lost 14-6 mainly because of turnovers.
This was probably the best Oiler/Titan squad in franchise history and the Ravens just straight punked em in their own house
Absolutely devastating loss for the Titans. Arguably their best chance at a Super Bowl literally snatched from them.
Their best chance came a year earlier. One yard short.👌🇺🇸
Wouldn’t their best chance for a Super Bowl literally have come the year before when they were a yard short?

@@jackson.7028I think that the Titans would have won but it would have been closer!

Probably the greatest NFL game played in Nashville
In the postseason the road team always prevails in this series.
Anthony mitchell return changed the game...
The only Titans playoff loss more emotionally painful than 2021.
2008 did hurt for me
Eddie George must’ve cried to sleep that night
Titans dominated almost every statistical category, except the score. Wow.

@Randolph Worthington III yep, the one that allowed Dilfer to take over for good
Sam Gash one year later was on the right side of special teams at Adelphia Coliseum in the month of January
Steve McNair, RIP 😭💔, respect 💪.
interesting thing is all four playoff games between these teams have been won by the road team
All 5 now
Make that 5 now.
5:34 Frank miller GET OUT
5:36 Frank Wycheck GET OUT
5:38 Titans GET OUT
A physically intense rivalry
It's a shame it only lasted a few short years
This game was like what John Madden called a "slobber knocker".
These & those ravens vs Steelers are probably the most physical fball games I ever watched. You can't play ball like this no more
This was our toughest playoff game that year. Oakland? lol...and the Giants....Nah.
The Ravens are still undefeated in Festivus
This was probably the super bowl. I think the Titans beat Oakland, and all 3 top AFC teams would beat the Giants.
Yep. This may as well have been Super Bowl 35. I don’t think anyone seriously expected the Giants to win it all, they were a finesse offense
I can't really blame McNair for that pick 6.
absolutely not, catch the ball
It was slightly behind Eddie George
They are gonna go at it again.
MVP of this game clearly Al Del Greco!
I still haven’t forgiven Al Del Greco
Man that defense was scary.
4:04 that sfx was only an illusion teasing to believing Al Del Greco would go 0 for 3 in FGs
Ravens=Titans kryptonite
Especially when those 2 play in Nashville.
not anymore
Yep. Always have been, always will be.
This weird special team got blocked three times
Titans had 2 FGs blocked, Ravens had 2 punts blocked. You rarely see any kicks of any kind being blocked at all, much less 4 times in a game.
Ready for war.
Jesus del dreco
2:51 all the American inventors are in on this play and that was just the 1st guy
Ravens special teams
The titans in the late 90s and early 2000s we're the funnest all around good team defense was solid offense was great and special teams
