This was not only the first home playoff win for the Ravens in 11 years, it would also be the closest the Texans came to a Super Bowl appearance.

Ravens would of had 2 Super Bowls back to back if it wasn’t for Lee evans and billy cundiff smh.

Lee Evans' one season stint with the Ravens didn't pan out due to injuries, and Torrey Smith ultimately stepped up as a rookie to become Baltimore's vertical threat on offense that year. (For reference, one of the reasons why the Ravens traded for Evans during the preseason was because Smith was struggling throughout training camp.) Still, that one-handed grab for a first down at the 1:50 mark was clutch and downright impressive!
It's just completely forgotten about because of what happens the following week with him...

Texans are 0-4 all time in the divisional round but something tells me things will be different with CJ Stroud at QB as opposed to who they started here…

1:55 Lee Evans could catch that but not the one in the endzone that would have sent us to the super bowl. We could have had back to back

The 2011 Texans were arguably better than the 2012 team. It’s just that Matt Schaub got injured, and T.J. Yates took over after Matt Leinart.

They Soulda started Jake, he had more playoff experience than Yates

I don't think it would have mattered if Delhomme was starting. The Ravens were just the better team regardless of who the Texans had at QB. And there's no shame, they had the edge in playoff experience and coaching.

I don't root for the Ravens much as a Bengals fan, but as a Bengals fan who lived in Houston for two years and had to take massive amounts of shit in the wild card round, I've never rooted harder for Baltimore.
