      @@maxaod Not as hard as you may think. Panthers and Jags were in their respective Conference Championship games in only their second year of existence.
      It was only hard for the Texans because they had Peyton Manning in the same divison! Go figure, Texans become AFC South Champs when Manning misses the entire season....

      @@duddamaaac5711 Schaub had that Texans offense running like a juggernaut that season before his foot got broken in Tampa. He was a two time Pro Bowler so he was more than a solid quarterback.

    I went to this game, such a special moment for Houston sport’s going against a former Katy Tiger and seeing the JJ Watt breakout. Also man if Schaub hadn’t gotten hurt that year, Texans may have gone all the way

    Arian Foster is one of the most talented football players I’ve ever seen , everybody in the building knew he was getting that damn ball and still couldn’t stop him. Unfortunately he will be forgotten due to the injuries and losing seasons...

    I was at this game! When JJ Watt got that pick six, that was the loudest I’ve ever heard that stadium get and I’ve seen A LOT of games there!! This is also including the Rodeo concerts!

    Arian was a stud. The Foster and Tate combo was special. I remember Arian had over a 1000 plus rushing, and Tate had a little over 900 rushing as a backup. That was Tates last season before he went to the Browns as a free agent.

    I will always remember this game. First ever Texans playoff game. The birth of JJ Watt as a super star in the NFL. Best defense the Texans ever had. People forget Mario Williams was on this team too, but got injured. That defense had 9 players who would make pro bowls in their career, and 8 that would be an all pro. One of the most underrated defenses in NFL history. If only the QB Schaub didn't get hurt that season. Don't forget, they lost next round to the Ravens by only 7 despite the muffed punt on the 1 yard line and Yates throwing 3 picks.

    This was the first Texans game I went to. My mom had got me an Arian foster jersey that year. Wish shaub woulda stayed healthy that year, probably wouldn’t have won a bowl but definitely would’ve had a better chance. Foster was truly something special, it’s a shame his hamstring was made of glass.

    It's pretty crazy how good both of these teams were from 2011-2016. It's a shame neither of them could make the AFC Championship or accomplish more due to the Patriots and Broncos dominating the conference in that era.
