- Relive the greatest season in Maryland's men's basketball history through the eyes of the men who led the Terrapins to the 2002 National Championship, Gary Williams, Juan Dixon, Lonny Baxter, Steve Blake and more in the newest Terrapin Club+ Show: "The Kids Have Done It."
2002 MD team was one of the best college teams of all time. Deep team. Had good bigs and good guards. Killed people down low. Had 4 guys 6'8-6'10 that just controlled the paint. Rare on a college team.
Plus they were so fun to watch. So many alley oops and fast breaks and just daggers from Juan and Steve. What a team!
The school MD beat for national championship had 23 national championship between them. Think about that That ‼️go terps 🏀🏀
That 2001 Final Four game was just OOZING with controversy and bad calls on Maryland.
still remember this like it was yesterday. My favorite team in all of sports
Was and still proud of this Maryland basketball 🏀 team and beyond!! So proud of the Maryland Terrapins!! ❤
This team was so fun to watch. Hopefully we'll be national champs again in the near future
I’m still proud of this team let’s Go Terps Forever!
MD should of won back to back titles. So close. Still great team.
I hate complainers but I will always complain they got massively screwed in that Duke game. Refs stole that from them and they know it.
Steve was smart to grab that ball.
Should have won the year before. Refs blatantly gave Duke that game. Fouling out Lonnie Baxter on an offensive foul was criminal after the shit they let Duke get away with. Still pissed
fear the turtle!🐢
That team exorcized a lot of demons that lurked in the rafters of Cole Field House.
