The weathering looks good on many lightsabers, it makes them feel like they were used in battle. I love it
Yep, I'm a fan of weathering on some sabers. Some look better without it.
supper cool i love the color with the hilt, blue was the best color for this saber in my opinon
I like the blue too, but it was a tough decision I was torn between the deep blue, blood orange, or green. Blue won out because deep blue was the only one I didn't have, and deeper blues are usefully less bright and I knew the led on the blade would brighten it up. I still want the blood orange and green blades though.
That looks absolutely amazing to hold
I love this saber, it's one of my favorites. Thanks for watching!
I'm glad it ended up working out in the end. Hopefully there won't be any issues!
Me too! Thanks!
Very cool hilt and that Deep blue blade 👍👍
Yeah, I like the deep blue. I was hoping it would be brighter in the thread in led blade. I think it turned out well. I thought about getting a blood orange blade for this saber.
Great video!! I like the idea of the thread in blades. I definitely want to see a comparison of the blues!!
I like the idea also, hope it works better than the previous versions. I will have that blue comparison in a few weeks.
The treaded sabers are very interesting but i think i would prefer the normal way.
Yeah, I agree. I really ordered this saber just because I love the hilt design.
That hilt is pretty awesome!! But I agree with the you both, I prefer the normal blades.
I love this hilt just like it is, but I wouldn't mind the regular version as well.
I love the look of thin necks, but I've actually never heard of thread in blades!
It's a newish thing from Saberforge. The first 2 versions had some problems with the blade getting too hot, getting brittle, and shattering. Hope this fixes the problems. Thanks for watching!
Fist time I have seen hilt with that design, a blade that works is better than non.
You're right about that, thanks for watching!
That’s dope as heck! I love how sleek it looks, very satisfying
I'm happy with it, hope it holds up. Thanks again!
It has a really design 👍
I really like the blade design, hope it holds up better than the previous versions. Thanks for watching, good luck!
I haven'treceived my replacement blade yet, but I'm in the queue and they'll ship mine out soon. My hope is that this new blade can hold up to gentle use. I don't plan anything adventurous with my new blade. Good luck with yours, though! .
Thanks! I used mine for about 20 minutes that included some light taping without issues so far... Let's hope it stays that way. Hope you get your's soon.
That's pretty cool looking!
Many thanks!
Winning a lightsaber would be so cool, lol I’ve never seen what it’s like to win a giveaway 🤔 wonder what it’s like
I don't know either. Good luck to you!
I love a saber with a good choke near the emitter
Me too, this one's a good one too. The emitter is a little wide to make this choke perfect, but it's my second best after the Disciple. The Disciple beats it out because it's a little wider and the hilt is so much lighter. With a light blade the Disciple practically rotates itself in the hand.
@@themeparkdna683 ill have to look into one sometime, I just ordered the Damien LGT force FX, supposed to be here Friday, it's my first saber in a long time
Awesome, let me know how you like it!
Hey bro. Another nice video. I’m sure it looks way better in person but that’s a nice blade. I’d never seen that type of blade till today. It is a shame bout the emitters being blocked like they are
Thanks again! The windows being blocked is a bummer but not a deal breaker, still love that hilt.
Love that hilt, and nice pocket knife! Hope i win a saber!
Thank you, good luck to you!
Very nice!
Thanks Luke, good luck to you!
Hope this fixes the issue. Good luck with it!
Thanks me too, good luck to you as well!
Thanks for this. Knowing about how this new blade is built might push me to go ahead and just order an Acoiyte, Commander, or Ranger but I just noticed that the ECO RGB option is sold out and I want color change if I an not going for a Pixel. I like the Disciple too but it is totally out of stock.
The Veteran RGB isn't a bad option to save money. It has 10 fonts instead of 25 and does not have in hilt color editing, but if you want a Saberforge RGB on a budget it is cheaper than the Champion. If it doesn't have to be SF, I recommend taking a look at Crimson Dawn. One of the least expensive neopixel options around. The tier 2 neo-core mystery box is only $200 with free shipping. Tier 3 neo-core is $230 and a Tier 3 mystery box saber with GHv3 is only $260. Thanks so much for watching!
@@themeparkdna683 Thank you. I love the look of the Saborforge hilts that I mentioned, which is why I want to buy one but I actually ordered two Crimson Dawn Crimson Base-Lit with Smooth Swing Wraith's this week for my niece and nephews upcoming birthday as well as a Specter with the same electronics for me so we can duel. I recently got a Xenopixel V2 Mandalorian Darksword that I have been playing around with as well as the Dok-Ondar's Legacy Darksaber that is still unopened. I got the last one when we stayed on the Galactic Cruiser back in May and that whole experience has renewed my enthusiasm for Star Wars, well that and The Mandelorian, Book of Boba Fett, and Obi Wan series on Disney. I got out my old Master Replica Anakin Skywalker lightsaber that I bought when it came out in 2005 and it still holds up to the new sabers pretty well, not as bright, but still really cool. Anyway, I have been enjoying your videos and will continue to go through them.
How was the Galactic Starcruser?!? If you like your MR and just want it to be brighter the Custom Saber Shop has some led conversion kits where you can convert it to a modern base lit led with removable pc blade.
@@themeparkdna683 The GS was a blast. I think I had at least as much fun as my ten year old nephew if not more. It is expensive but a great thing to do if you are a Star Wars fan. My MR actually works great. Sure, it is not as bright as the modern sabers but it has the blade up and down effects which I love. If I were to upgrade anything it would be the sound. While it is loud, it it not as responsive as the new stuff.
I'd like to do the GS one day, but it's going to have to wait. I have a family of 5, that's going to be some cheddar.
Disappointing the updated blade covers the emitter windows. Only time will tell if the new blade holds up to normal wear and tear. Good luck.
I agree, I'm just happy to have a working saber. Thanks
That hilt is so cool ngl
Thanks, it's my favorite. I plan on doing a review in a few weeks.
Oooooooh, I thought the threads were on the polycarbonate lmao... Its a really cool idea but too bad the metal covers the hiles in the emitter, although I'd rather have it cover the holes than break.
I agree, thanks!
I love the deep blue color and I think it goes amazing with that saber. Weird that it didn’t come with the blade tho!
It didn't because the v3 version of the thread in led blade wasn't ready to ship yet. Thanks so much for watching!
This brightness and stability look good. I’m really curious how the threaded sabers will stand the test of time.
It definitely is brighter, I hope it holds up too. Thanks for watching!
I can't imagine being shipped a saber without a blade! Fantastic hilt though. When you swing the saber around, does it feel heavier around the emitter because of the LED? In most of my base-lit builds, I can always feel where the LED is sitting when its moving, i've never even heard of an LED in the blade before this video
I think it feels a little heavier than a regular blade in a base lit saber, but it's still lighter than a neopixel blade. It probably fells heavy just because it's a SF v4 infinity blade. They are heavy blades. Thanks for watching!
I think a thread in NeoPixel blade would have been a better choice.
I wanted one of those too but I was spending enough money and was trying to save some money. Plus I wanted to compare it to other led blades. Thanks for watching!
Hi
Hi there
Please
Thanks for watching!
Hello there.
Hey, what's going on?
@@themeparkdna683 nothing much just chillin
@@themeparkdna683 hbu?
Traveling this week, looking forward to getting back home.
@@themeparkdna683 That’s nice. Where’d you travel to?
I like the look of this saber, but I just don't think I want the thread in blades.
theres certain installers who can lathe out the threaded bit, and put a normal pixel pcb in it. theres not many though so its worth asking around
@Issacc Woodruff
Yeah, I'm not sure the risk is completely worth the reward. I just love this saber (plus I ordered before the blade issues were common knowledge).
@testbot
You can also order a thread in pixel saber. Thanks for watching!
this is another comment.
