I bought a 2023 ZR2, been at the dealership for over two months waiting on a sterring rack/steering column . GM has no idea when the oarts are coming in . Asked the dealership about trading this one in for a similar truck because of this issue of no parts . Dealership i bought the truck ftom wants nothing ti do with me or the truck ! Thanks GM for selling me a load of garbage, i guess 25 years of being a loyal customer means nothing ! Last GM for me , i will give a tundra TRD PRO a try .
Yup these trucks just keep getting more and more expensive, and come with more and more problems…. I’ve owned all three major truck brands and have had issues with all of them although my 14 and 16 Silverados were easily the best trucks I’ve owned. But you just have to pick your poison when it comes to vehicles nowadays lol. And don’t buy the first model vehicle when it comes out, wait for them to work the bugs out. Good luck!
My truck wouldn’t start. I couldn’t shut off the marker lights and heater fan. I had towed to the dealership. Hears a different issue that the dealership wouldn’t fix. The speakers every once in a while will sound like they are blown. I’m so pissed. WOW

If you keep watching my other videos, I can tell you also that since I got my battery replaced on my Tundra TRD Pro, it has been FANTASTIC! I couldn’t be happier so far with that truck and I hate to say it, but I’ll never go back to GM…… our black Colorado ZR2 was made in USA and hasn’t had one problem. This is our second Colorado ZR2 and the White one we had prior to the black gave us no issues. All these Silverado ZR2’s are made in Mexico and have been nothing but a shit show from the day we ordered them. My white Silverado ZR2 sat in a dirt lot after production in Mexico for three weeks with the windows down waiting for a transport ship! Yes, it was a mess when it arrived at the dealer and it went to shit from there…. We should’ve let GM go under instead of giving them bailout money. It would’ve saved us all ALOT of grief in the long run 🙄
So many of these vehicles sat for months waiting for chips and parts that many of the batteries are screwed due to power draws. My guess is this is a low voltage issue which will set off nearly every light.
This shit makes me nervous - I just ordered one a month ago - it'll be my first GM product since 2001. If mine is a turd, all mt ford buds are gunna be belly rollin....ffs. Plz keep us in the loop - cheers

So, when this one comes in - I will get extended bumper to bumper warranty and hope for the best...or I will walk away IF i can find a Raptor or Tremor for the same deal.

this video says 1 year ago, so I'm not sure when exactly you posted this or when you got your blue silverado. The rear post cover could be off because your dealer or some other location had your truck apart to check for the split roof problem GM had with early 2024 model silverados. Google it. The issue was on the passenger side and required removing the headliner (or lowering it) and welding the roof back together at seam which is under the black strip on outside of outboard roof area. Your truck might of been 1 of them affected. It required repainting the roof after the weld was done. look at roof closely for signs of it being repainted. The dealers know the VINS that had the issue, getting them to tell you the truth is another story.
Bought a 2021 canyon that had the airbag error, it went 8 times back to the dealer as right now (replaced air bag and all sorts of wiring). Fingers crossed the problem won't come back and this is the last gm product I will ever buy.
Mine got problem with transmission, simple don't change any gear.. stuck in parking... start with need service, and the dealer said that's ok not but is gonna happen and continue to drive with no issue while the new part arrive.. but it happen the truck just block everything. now I need to town the truck to the dealership.. sucks...

had transmission occasionally get stuck in 1st gear on my 23 RST Silverado. rpm goes up but truck still went slow. felt very heavy. not even 1000 miles. dealer said "nothing was wrong"

Mine just died, completely dead. Can’t even be jumped. Had to have it towed to my dealership yesterday morning, have heard nothing as of next day at 1100am. I do have a cold air intake from Cold Air Intakes but that is the only mod tha has any touch point to electric. UPDATE: Dealership said the negative connection on the battery was loose. It was not but we will see what happens in the next few days.UPDATE: Just started today , 7 days later, it started right up. Don’t know what they actually did to fix it but it us working now. Taking on a hard off-road tomorrow so hope it doesn’t die again.
Thanks for the comments and yes, I agree. I’m amazed how quickly GM wants this stuff surprised and you wouldn’t believe what they do to the service records when you pick up your vehicles. Luckily for me, I was smart enough to video record dropping it off and recording the techs and managers plugging in the OBD at drop off and everyone saying, “Holly shit! Never seen so many trouble codes!” Then keeping the truck for two more weeks and creating a TAC ticket and finally returning it to me saying everything fine, unable to duplicate! Bullshit and I proved it!!!!

You are one of the few buddy. Met another guy today with his new black ZR2 and he wanted to cry when I pointed out some stuff to him. He told me about some issues he’s having on his ride and he only has 500 miles on it! Black sure doesn’t hide paint flaws for him…… he’s sick 🤷🏻♂️
This really scares me. It is good to know I'm not alone. I just bought a 2023 Silverado ZR2 for almost $80K (put $60K down) and 3 days after having it, I notice a small ticking sound coming from the left wheel well. It almost sounds like a loud belt problem. If i barely hit the gas, it sounds like an air compressor going off before the rumble of the 6.2 kicks in. Also if i hammer down on the gas pedal, there is a lull before the power kicks in. Cold starts, the thing sounds like shit too. Anyone have these noise issues I'm having. I took it to the dealership and the mechanic told me, "I work on these trucks all day long and this is what they sound like. You have nothing to worry about". In my opinion, if one spends $80K on a vehicle it better sound and run damn near perfect.

I should’ve known we were in trouble when they launched the intro to the coming new truck with a 4’ heavy set female flopping out to introduce herself as the engineer who created this mess for the hard working people ordering it! 🙄 What a joke it was owning this junk!
This voodoo shit is crazy! these traction, control problems, check engine, etc. light, ABS there’s nothing wrong with the service! and they just keep popping up for no apparent reason!
Did nothing for us, we tried that several times. Turns out GM is aware of the problem and it sat at the dealership for a month while they tried to troubleshoot it!
Probably got the ones made in Mexico…I’m sure they do a bang up job on quality control…are your hoods starting to chip around the scoops also? Mine did in the 1st 1000 miles👍, now it’s starting to shut off when I come to a stop, not all the time but, looking forward to getting stranded with a 68000$ paper weight👍
Just got mine 3 days ago check engine light already turned truck is shaking when I turn it in and got a notification to check the emissions system I filled up the tank and I only got 290 miles I 🙃
How funny you say that. The white one made a clunk when I came out of or backed into my driveway and we couldn’t figure out where it was “clunking” from. It sounded like from under the truck in the rear. I don’t know if it’s fixed since they replaced the RR shock now since I’ve been in a loaner for over 3 weeks but I hope its stopped. Worst part is the blue ZR2 is solid and makes no noises or clunks. The quality control from GM is just shit! I’m so disappointed

GM quality is down to toilet , worse by far from any truck maker, I have a at4 GMC Sierra on order and seriously considering canceling it, I have 3 rams on a row and have been great smooth problem free trucks....
We just got rid of our AT4 prior to the Blue ZR2. Bad lifters and electrics had to be fixed but after that it was ok. I don’t want to get rid of the blue ZR2, just want the damn thing back after 2 weeks now for touch up paint! The white one,….. to hell with it, they can take it back, I’m done!! Both trucks STILL at the dealership!! Over 2 weeks in loaners!

Take the K&N off. These trucks are too sensitive to unsupported mods. There is a reason GM doesn't offer their performance parts air intake anymore.
