@@morganpearson8545 I'd imagine that if the door handle was on the other side of the door 😜 So I'll keep imagining sims getting smacked with the door as they casually get to the bottom of the stairs 😂
I think this layout makes a lot of sense for a desert build since it’d be easier to keep the living spaces (where you presumably spend a lot of time during the hot daytime) cooler
i actually saw simsie’s video and one of my first thoughts went to you building this!!! so glad you did this one, your build is so creative and i love your twist on it!
I'll admit, I had my doubts about that particular concrete wall-- I should really know not to doubt you by now, lol. You always make things work wonderfully in ways I'd be too afraid to try! This is such a charming build, and now I'm envious of whatever sim would theoretically rent out that apartment.
I have a cousin who also has a 3floor house and it’s at the edge of a mountain so from the street view it looks like a 1 floor house. but similar to this build there’s stairs that leads to the bedrooms. the “basement” is also a guess room for them and a door to the backyard :)
i’m always mind blown by your creativity and how amazing you make every building be with its own personality. i’ve been binge watching your channel for two days now and every time i think “hmm this is definitely my fav one” you change my mind on the next video lol and your tiny buildings are my favoriteeeee! i’ve always dreamed of living in a tiny house so seeing your work makes me heart warm :-)
i love that you're really fighting to fit that one painting in the living space, nails and teeth, it has to be there!! this is so much like how i build myself, i love that moderne style so much and your build is wonderful, I had to comment, cause i keep coming back to it for inspo !!!
I would enjoy doing a shell challenge, that you have created 🎉 Maybe also one for beginners, so that I have a chance 😂 I am always amazed at how inventive and creative you are. Would love to see what the community does with your challenge. 😍
Well… I was working on doing this and now I wanna throw my whole one out cause this is incredible 😂 Also would love for you to create a Shell Challenge! I always love doing them.
Great video. Lovely use of the shell. The sim family I would move in would be a couple and their kids, a sim who liked art and a teen who played guitar. And finally, grandma sim would live downstairs in the basement apartment.
Awh i liked the tv under the staircase, I 100% think you could have gone with that. It makes the tv being not the main focus of the room, meaning people could sit with the fireplace, just chilling.
loved how this turned out, I'm still working on mine. I made the sims from the Amazon ad first and then building to fit the personalities I imagined. I'd love to see a shell challenge you create. Your build looks amazing, you did a great job.
The shell turned out amazing!!🤩love the front off the house with that access. And how cozy you made that concrete work!😍 and the art space is lovely🥰🧡would love for you to create a shell challenge!
Hypnotic video! I love this challenge so much and always wait for Kayla to react, but this is the first time I came across an actual creation of a build. I had so much fun watching it, you're insanely talanted 😍
I would have made the pool so that the lower ground wall was glass and be able to see through the pool, and put it out on front, like an art piece. Or made it a big aquarium instead. But this style is also very very beautiful.
I lived in Coachella Valley and Yucca Valley most of my life. I lived 15 minutes from Joshua Tree and Joshua Tree National Park was almost in my backyard 😁
I love I build, however I find it funny that you have never seen Joshua trees lmao I have lived by them all my life. If you didn’t know they only grown in like 3 places one being in California they are super pretty especially when it’s sunset lol.
At first I rotated the lot to have the middle floor entrance in the front of the house, but it's so funny, that we had the same idea with that half bath next to the entrance But differently, I put a little wardrobe in the other room and then I included the washer dryer combo next to the kitchen (hidden inside the weird 1x1 room). I've a little kitchen with dining area, a small living room and a small bedroom for a kid and a teen on the middle floor. Upstairs I've a bathroom for the kids, the pink bedroom for a kid and a toddler and a 3x4 bedroom with access to a second small bathroom for the parents. (I am so thankful for the bunk beds). We've also had the same idea to put the guests in the basement. But at first I wanted to build a 3 generations house with a little apartment for the grandparents in the basement. Sadly it didn't work the way I wanted. Everything was to small and I had no living space. So I changed the kitchen space into an office, but I kept the separated room with the double bed. And then I made the basement halfbath 2 tiles bigger to include a shower tub combo. But I'm happy, that it's still an 8 sims starter, because I was cheating with some functional debug objects like the super cheap chairs, both double beds, a bookshelve and the TV from eco living.
Every day I'm upset that we can't put laptops wherever we want in this game. You wouldn't even need the tv in this build if you could put a laptop on top of the bed.
It would be nice if there was an "advanced" pack that gives more advanced settings. Patterns & colors like in sims 3, rotating, and other things more casual players might not want.
Yes the pool is supposed to cool sims off when swimming - but be wary, your sims will get out of the pool and sit on the side of it - and that doesn’t.
Does renting to roommates ever work for anyone? I have a PS4 & it has NEVER worked for me since university came out. I can list the ad & everything, but no one EVER rents the place or even shows up interested. Anyone know how I can fix it? I would love to have roommates in my builds!!
Awesome job, it looks great! I love her shell challenges.. I just finished mine 😊 Lboo83 (if you wanna check it out) and yes you should do a shell challenge, they are so much fun 👍
This turned out really awesome. I like the modern feel and the materials/colors you used. I did this same shell challenge as my first shell challenge and it was tough. My Floorplan was really difficult to lay down but I think turned out nice. Could use a critique if you have the time. My username is jrveley
I imagine Sims getting to the bottom of the stairs then being smacked in the face with the door 😂
Imagine the door opens inward!! But yes that would be hilarious 😂😂

I hope Simsie sees this!!
I love how you tackled the hole in the ground/basement, and also love the kitchen! Those counters look amazing
This is so creative! I built a witchy cottage with mine! Love what you did with the basement

Fantastic work 👏 I love how it fits so well there in Oasis Springs. Your style is fabulous!

I love a lot of the swatches on the metal bed.
Absolutely one of my favorite builds of yours! I love this so much!!
Love the color scheme, and how you did the layout of the kitchen! Looks amazing!

aw thank you so much!
I hope Kayla adds this on her shell challenge video! So nice ❤️
Would love to see a shell challenge from you! They're so fun; my favorite way to play TS4 these days :)
I just KNOW she'll react to your shell on tour day and SHE'S GOING TO LOVE IT AS MUCH AS I DID
2 of my favorite Simmers in one place! ❤️
I started this doing almost the exact same thing!! A modern house in the desert with a little apartment in the basement! yours is perfect i love it
It's beautiful!!!! This build is truly different than your other builds and I dig it

I’d love to see you do a shell challenge! I’m so bad at building I’d be embarrassed to put it on the gallery but looking at the good builds is fun.

Love this!!
love the basement suite!!!
I love what you did with this shell!!
Great job
Thank you!
It looks so good
Great job as usual! Yeah you should create a shell challenge of your own!
I did! Posted it on the channel a couple days ago!
@@Gryphi great! I will check it out.
i think this house is so cool i want to live in it like actually
yes, a tiny home shell challenge
Wow, love your design I am going to use it as a rental in the jungle.
Yes, please do a shell challenge! 🙂
You inspired me to attempt the shell challenges even though I’m bad at build mode
This is amazing!

Would changing the outdoor basement area to a pool count as changing the walls? 🤔
No, Simsie even made that part a pool in her version of it:)
Will you be making another shell challenge? maybe a very difficult tiny one?
Yes the pool is supposed to cool sims off when swimming - but be wary, your sims will get out of the pool and sit on the side of it - and that doesn’t.
I did the challenge and turned it into a modern type build
❤
How did you get the kits sorted????
It's a mod! Better Build Buy by TwistedMexi!
