      For people who are unable to lose weight :
      - check your fasting insulin levels and make sure you are not insulin resistant
      - check your inflammation levels with tests like hsCRP and take adequate steps to address it
      - Make sure you are not underexercising. Incorporate resistance training, zone 2 etc and make sure you keep upgrading your exercise
      - Make sure you are not in a calories surplus. You might be having hidden calories and that might be staying in the way of your weight loss.
      - check your thyroid and other hormone markers and make sure they're normal.
      What about this did you not understand?

      ​@@gouthamsooryaWhat about the weight of muscle mass? Weight of bones? By regular weight training, people normally get big muscles and subsequently body weight. Is it a high fat percentage or body weight is a villain?

      Body weight is a vague marker of health as it is just a total sum of all the components of the body, such as fat, bones, muscles etc. Analysis of body composition will provide insights into the contribution of each component of the body such as fat, bones, muscles etc. in percentages as well as kilograms. Scientifically structured strength training exercise routine will help optimize body composition by increasing muscle mass and subsequently reducing body fat percentage. To answer your question, poor body composition is the villain rather than body weight.

    @manjunathsukumaran If you have a guest, please make sure you let the person finish what he/she is saying when you have asked a question. Every other time your guest is speaking in this video, all I can see is you cutting the person's talk and trying to infuse your thoughts and opinion. Then why do you need a guest? You could simply sit and talk on your own! And if it's an edited video, then you need to edit it in such a way that both speakers are or have put their opinions properly.

    Thanks for highlighting the top 5 reasons that prevent weight loss. Your video doens't give solutions to address the number 1 reason insulin resistance. Typically the solutions suggested by experts are dieteary changes and excercise. But that doesn't help if someone is already on diet and do regular excercise but yet unable to lose weight possibly due to insulin resistance. So bit of a gery area here.

    There are many deficiencies in the treatment of insulin resistance. There are no tests to measure production of insulin in the body. Doctors have no idea how to reduce FBS except prescribing more meds and switching among various brands. Mounjaro type meds are unheard of 😊!
