I was there. It was my birthday and I couldn't miss saying thank you and goodbye to our Captain America. When I go to a game I just automatically look for Ryan. I'm not sure that's a habit I'll ever get over. Forgive me new Nats, but I couldn't help wishing - several times - during the following game that Ryan, Ian, Danny, Jayson, Adam, et al would step up to bat in the bottom half of at least a couple of innings. They all looked like they could still swing a bat! We'd just leave fielding and running to the kids! LOL.
