- This is a video tribute to Washington Nationals legend Ryan Zimmerman who recently retired from baseball. Zim had so many amazing moments in a Nationals jersey and I tried to fit as of them as I could into this video. Despite many ups and downs including injuries, devastating playoff loses, and being drafted to a struggling franchise, Ryan Zimmerman persevered to help with DC a title. Ryan Zimmerman is the heart and soul of Nationals history. He is Mr. National. Congrats on retirement Zim, I have a feeling it won't be the last we see of you.

I remember driving home in the 2019 postseason and ( I forget if it was nice or nlds) amd he hit that game winning 3 run Homer, I had to pull over and just go crazy in my car from that. He will forever be my favorite nat and I will miss him forever. Thanks Zim, zimmy, employee #11, Mr.national.❤
He'll never be a Hall of Famer. He won't be in the conversation of all time 1B or 3B. But that doesn't matter. This man is the model to strive to for every Nats player, and a damn good baseball player. #11 forever a Nat.

That 2019 season/team was special. A lot people say "special" for whatever reason but it was truly special. Breakdown:We just lost Bryce Harper to Free Agency ( of all team's the Phillies, really Bryce) we were under.500 at one point in the season . We were talking about trading player's at the trade deadline Max Scherzer among other's . We beat the Brewers who could have won their division in the wc game the Dodger's who I believe was the favorite that year to win it all a tough Cardinals team and the Astros all 3 division champ's nobody gave us a shot in hell to beat Houston oh wait we underdog's in each series everyone picked us to lose every series. How do you like those Apple's? Like I said a truly special season. Thank you Ryan Zimmerman aka Mr National you will always have a place in my heart and in my Hall of Fame GO NAT'S!!!!!
Between Zim and Ovi, it’s been a hell of a run for DC sports. A little under 20 years of watching some of the kindest and hard working players in each league. I’m so glad I got to see a World Series and a Stanley Cup come to DC. And we get to keep watching Harper fail to win it all (probably not for long tho)
