Its a real shame they killed this car. It had so much potential for tuning. I owned a 2010 2.0T at 300HP. Was a nice car with lots of potential. The world today is all about trucks and SUV sadly.

Besides that, Genny Coupes are nice cars, i don’t hate em, i just don’t see any reason to pick a Genny over the VQs. At the time it was heavily overshadowed by the G’s & Z’s out there and a much better option with a large aftermarket support, best in reliability, and much more. You really can’t go wrong with the VQs, they’re bulletproof.

I got a muffler delete and secondary car delete on my 13 Genesis coupe 3.8 and it sounds similar to this. I’m going to get the irs single exit exhaust system with the irs test pipes. With headers and down pipes eventually and a tune! I love my Genesis. Got a good deal on mine too and insurance isn’t as bad as a v8 👌🏾😎
Darren Williams size of motor has nothing to do with insurance anymore. It’s safety features, value of vehicle, how likely it is to be stolen, repair costs etc.
I love how the genesis coupe sounds, its beautiful and I've always wanted one, however there are many normal cars that sound like that, my previous Mazda ( i have a video on it on my channel ) has high compression so it sounds like a ram would, the 2009 or 10 camry has the Toyota equivalent of the VQ, and many others, its just no one puts after market exhaust on them so you dont get to hear what they sound like

It was screaming… but it quickly disappeared in my rear view. I will say I think they are good looking cars but they are about as slow as a Camry or accord..
