I'm just back into ED after months away and shocked at how nerfed Borann is for LTD laser mining. Is it worthwhile to do LTDs at Col 285 Sector CC-K a38-2 or is laser Painite mining the way to go for now?

Thank you for the tips! I got 117 tons of Painite in about an hour, and made about 95 million credits. I used a build similar to The Gold Digger (D2EA build from about 11 months ago).

I think Low Temp Diamonds should be pretty rare. However, I think there should also be missions which you can pick up asking you to go mine a certain amount of them which pays more than if you just sold them. This would still give you an incentive to go mine them.
If LTD is worth more and harder to find then other types of ores then the value is appropriate. However if LTD is just as easy to find as say void opals then obviously the value is not accurate for what you’re getting... I’m fine with LTDs being harder to find if you sell them for 1.6 million like we have had before. That would at least make sense.
I 100% agree with this. Let's be fair, if something is extremely valuable it should be rare to come by, it is like this in real life and in all games that have some kind of economy, and making something extremely valuable hard to come by increases the excitement of finding it in the first place.
The problem with bringing the price up to match its rarity is there are a thousand carriers with thousands of tons of LTDs pre-patch, that would easily flood the market.
This sounds like a logical approach but realistically the markets would technically have been flooded with the overabundance of LTDs since most commanders would choose this as a primary source of credits before the patch. It would make sense for the market to gradually match the rarity of LTD but it would be very disappointing if they stayed at the current low selling prices.
I tried DC-mining for the first time yesterday. Spent $100M buying & outfitting a Python (based on your non-E build) and watched several of your vids and some of Yamik's and Obsidian Ants, etc. Figured I'd recoup the cost of the Python before too long - or at least make a dent in the cost! I dropped into 3 different Void Opal hotspots and after 6 hours all together still had a hold with nothing but limpets in it. "What am I missing?!", I asked myself. I'd found lots of asteroids that looked right, fissures included. Needless to say, I docked a sad Python at a nearby station with nothing to show for it but fuel expended. I re-watched one of your vids - maybe this one - and noticed something that none of the content creators had mentioned - because they thought it was a given? I needed to TARGET THE PROSPECTOR LIMPET to see what was in the deep core! I tested that this morn and now have Void Opals & LTD in my hold. I dbl-facepalm when I think of how many opals & diamonds I must have flown past unkmowingly! :( Nice work, though, with your content - keep 'em coming! :)
Thank you sir for another great video, with the insights into some of the steeper parts of the learning curve into E.D. game mechanics, I have progressed far from the struggling Cmdr of a type 6, unsure of how to thrive in this massive expanse, to having a small fleet of my own and the direction needed to go far beyond... Thank you sir for your dedication, and the time you have put in to helping others understand this great experience.
I specifically selected my home system because it's got an overlapping Painite hot spot with a slew of FC buying the goods for 500k/unit so I don't have to leave to find the best price. Hop out of the extraction zone, unload my goods I harvested and drop back in. Sometimes I find my home station buying at 700k/unit. Outfitted a Type-9 and doing quite well.
Painite! Cmdr Newb here, making 130 million a trip strip mining painite in an un-optimized Krait Mk2, just taking out my new Anaconda purchased from the profits. Selling it between 400k-500k to in system FCs, up to just under 800k, if I make a few jumps to sell.
Core mining whilst laser mining on the side has suited me pretty well. I prefer void opals in this current state as I've been able to find multiple stations buying for 1.3m while the LTDs have been fluctuating lately
Just started playing again a few weeks ago. Decided to grind engineers finally. Did the 5000ly round trip, went mining (after the broken patch) to buy a bigger exploration ship than the DBX. 3h, 250 limpets and 22t of LTD later I sold all my mining gear and bought a Python, fitted for robigo and watched Dark wile doing runs. It may not be as profitable as mining per hour but it's much more consistent
I've been saying this since the first "mining nerf" patch happened after FC launch; it never affected Painite laser mining.... I have been able to fill up 256t of Painite in an hour ever since "the mining nerf" happened.
Jesus fucking christ - does **NO-ONE** at Frontier have the faintest fucking idea of what they're doing? What they want? How to achieve it?? How fucking difficult can it be - it's a GAME, for fucks sake!!! In a way, I'm actually quite impressed - I've never seen people fuck things up this badly **this consistently** before!! Thank FUCK I made sure to earn enough credits to buy several fleet carriers long before they even dropped; for me, all that grind was **totally** worth it now - I don't have to deal with all this shit. But it's sad to see a game I've sunk THOUSANDS of hours into being so thoroughly fucked up by the very people who built it in the first place...... :(
Great vid again, instructive, thank you ! But I must say something different about, even bring something new; I did almost 2 millions in last 5 days, with a couple of hours of mining each day. I am relative new at the game, but one thing I learned ( alone, hard way, sadly not watching a good vid on tube, saving time like that) - subsurface mining is NOT worth now, is a huge time-consuming activity with crap results compared with laser mining. I did both, LTD and painite, and I stopped with LTD when I start to watch closer the market fluctuation. I keep always open the market-connector app AND 2-3 tabs on my browser with INARA / commodity prices, so when I go mining, I knew the values I may get for. I switched at painite when LTD drop under 700k, at most stations, and oh boy, I got buyer for painite at over 1 million / tone, in few occasions, and most of the time between 700-800k, a price almost equal for what I got for LTD prior ! the HUGE difference is in time: with laser mining you "finish" an asteroide in under 1 minute and you move to next - if you used that 1 minute when your collectors harvest all, smart, you already dropped another 4 prospectors and from 4 targets usually you get at least one more for mining, so you move from "target" to "target" and that cut the time to get your bay full considerable. I do not know what ship / equipament the author here use, but I load my cutter with only 2 mining lasers ( those on wings) and when I go for LTD, I must full my cargo bay ( 2 x 256) with limpets yes, full load NOT 75% or less like some here teach you... That is because you will spend lots of prospect limpets AND collector ones, much faster than hoarding LTD.s ! In triple hot-spots my average was 100-120 tones/h, not far from what DtEA here, so in 2-3 h I manage something like 300-350 tons. At painite, is x2 MORE for the same amount of time ! First time in my game play I was forced to dump SEVERAL time's limpet canister ( a dozen each time) because I was filling my cargo bay faster than I was spending collectors and prospectors ! My best load was 565 tons in 3 hours, who bring me almost half billion, some days ago,. Since then, the price keep dropping, and now if you get 500-600k / ton you are lucky. Also, even with INARA you search for a good market with a price tag of, lets say, 900k / ton, updated 15 minutes ago, and when you get there after 20 minutes, is down to 6-700 k.... And you just travel 200 ly to get there.... What I realize is the in-game market fluctuate, products of great value today may get at 1/3 of value in just a couple of days, but one thing I think is obvious for us all - this game should change his name from "elite dangerous" to "elite mining" cuz your main revenue, efficient one, by a HUGE difference, is mining. Mining and again mining, not combat, not bounty hunting, not missions. Mining only. And that is bad, inho. Other aspects of the game are shadowed, and if I can have a beer, watch a movie AND mining in the same time, this become boring fast....
I was never a fan of SSD mining so I was laser mining LTD before the nerf, I switched over to Painite right after. Honestly, there's been only a minor change in the amount of credits I can make per hour, because I can mine a lot more Painite per time spent, so even when it's only 700k per ton, it's roughly the same credits per hour as if LTD was 1.2m credits per ton pre-nerf. Of course, LTD would semi-regularly hit 1.6m per ton, but those days are over too, at least for now. Supply and demand also got buggered for many commodities, which makes it difficult to get the best sell price unless you're mining in a smaller ship like a Python.
Great videos! Quick question, can't find the answer anywhere, are A rated prospector and collector limpet controllers important for core mining? Thanks!
Paintite doesn't work right now (11:00 6th Aug UTC), I just used over 100 prospectors on each of 3 different Painite hot spots and did not find any laser mine-able rocks, I did find a grand total of ONE rock with a Painite core though, lol. Might have found more if I were set up for core mining, Pulse wave scanner etc.
well, is there tritium available? not for sales, just for like refuelling the many stranded fleet carriers out there. Literally asking because this seems like an important issue, and indeed seems to have been forgotten. And i'm not talking about triple hot spots. just like tritium spawning anywhere like it used to be.
Paintite may be ok. LTDs might exist again, a little, but VO's are broken. 256 prospector limpits launched in a 2x VO hotspot last night and 0 VO rocks. I did find 10 granderite, 12 alexanderite, 6 LTD, and 9 bromelite in that 2x Vo hotspot thouth. SMH...
A huge sandbox, vast beyond comprehension. some castles already built, and those that play in it inevitably pick the same toys to take in to it. Once in the sandbox though, they find that the castles cannot be built upon or destroyed, only fought over. Nothing new can be created at all, because there are no tools to use to create. Players can imagine something exists where it does not, but its only imaginary. This is elite: dangerous. a Vast, beautiful, sandbox but with limited options at the end of things, and no tools to build anything yourself :(
I think the enormous disparity between rewards for mining against all other 'tasks' (e.g. combat, courier services, tourism etc) is so huge, you might as well rename Elite Dangerous to MineCraft: Space Edition. I find that I'm playing ED a lot less frequent these days because the only lucrative way to get money is by: thrust, pulse scan, check, thrust, pulse scan, check, repeat for hours on end. I feel like a pigeon pecking a disk for food!
i got so used to mining the core asteroids that i couldn't find the good ones even when they were broken. but money was good even after the supposed nerf...
I dunno man, I almost exclusively mined void opals and found only 2 cores after 2 hours. I know this comment is 2 months old, but I'm pretty damn sure void opals got nerfed hard as well.
I think there needs to be some serious changes to mining styles. I think mining shouldn’t yield rare things such as LTD or VO. Yield things that are 250,000> x. Still have the chance of getting these items but have it much less likely, this way having a higher grade refinery is actually valuable. You might only get a 10-15 tons per hour while you get things that are much less valuable more near 200 tons per hour. Along with that I want core mining to be changed up; mostly mechanics. There’s low, medium, and high contents. No matter what you do though it seems to give you equal amount per core. Along with that have the yield graph more reliable and have more variables. It seems that it’s based on single points and if you get the correct number you’ll be in the “good yield zone”. I wish this had more variables like shot location, fissure location, and others. Along with make the graph reliable. There seems to be a 50/50 chance you “exceed the yield” and get a poor outcome. And yet again when this occurs sometimes it’s a normal amount of tons you’ll get, while sometimes it’ll give a poor yield. If I knew the proper outcomes it’d be more satisfying knowing I did good or bad. Giving a % would be nice to know. Did I do a great job and get a 90% yield or did I botch it up and get a 12% yield. I think the mechanics currently are too basic and cookie cutter like. Core mining should be the most interactive requiring a bit of skill, knowledge, planning, and logic in order to do it effectively. Anyone can go core mining and learn from their first few cores, but I want it to be a “I’ve been mining for 3 months and this works great for me” much like how combat is. There shouldn’t be a meta, there needs to be enough variables to make it so we all have our own instincts and ways we play.
yeah, i made 200m in 1 day, went from an eagle doing combat missions to adder void opal mining, then switched to keelback then got the python, now i have enough money to buy anaconda. Only in one day, feels like cheating tbh.
@@TheThebestgame4 Yeah, in the LTD glory days I went from an Asp Exploder to a Python to an A rated Anaconda in 4 runs over the course of 3 days. Though to be honest, I was glad for money not to be the grind anymore since engineering materials gave me plenty to do. I eventually hit 5.5 billion and wisely did not buy a fleet carrier.
@@TheThebestgame4 It's not cheating it's just the wrong way to play this game, yes you reach Anaconda in a few days, then you'll need 500 millions to fit it properly or you'll fly a shit brick, most probably you have not unlocked Engineers let alone Guardian stuff,it's because players like you that this game gone downhill, lack of content made old guns leave the boat and Fdev to lure in new blood did this actual shit,FCs comprised.
I'm on xbox, does anyone know why I can't seem to find any painite? Im looking in hotspots but still, after 100 limpets and 2 hours, can't find any. I'm not even trying to mine out for money. I'm trying to find just 10 ton to unlock Selene Jean!
I'm fairly new to mining and a nub in ED in general, but I have done some LTD mining with a setup that could do sub-surface and deep core (I did my research on that front XD ). Ended up getting a good bit of cash in the new triple hotspot rush before the nerf. I will say however, that I found very few Deep Core asteroids and I generally just find deep core more FUN. There's something satisfying about that big boom at the end then going in and searching for the goods. That all being said, is there anything I can do to try and find MORE deep core asteroids, or is it just random?
@@CarBENbased the only ones you should be going for have very thick noticeable black lines from medium range, and entire black spots at close range with pulse wave imaging. If you're unsure look for cyan spiderwebs, those fissures existing means its a core asteroid
They just had to go and f*** with LTDs. Seriously, they should take a page from Gearbox (developers of Borderlands 3), in that their attitude now is they're not nerfing popular weapons. Rather, they're buffing underperforming weapons. Perhaps Frontier should buff other ways of making money? Such as missions, combat and exploration? Also, I did my first foray into painite mining with a Type-9. Good God that thing has a miserable jump range. I don't think I inserted myself correctly, didn't find any painite. But, got a lot of other valuable minerals and engineering stuff so it was all good.
Have just spent 4 hours flying through a void Opel hot spot. A non over lapping one. And they are real bad for core mining anything now. 5 cores in 4 hours. And two of those are bromellite. Any one else find these sort of results now?
Hey DTEA, thanks for the update, another great vid. Well we all new this was gonna happen didnt we. As you say here, mining is still a good way to make some credits, just bot as stupid good as it was before. However, when are Fdev gonna balance the rewards? Mining, even now after the patch makes most other money making methods look pathetic. C'mon devs, we love elite but please, make mission rewards more worthwhile. Why does shooting a rock gove me millions and millions but spending a solid 30 minutes to an hour tracking an assassination target cough up chump change? I remain hopeful
Mining is done for as far as making a lot of money.. it takes time to mine and finding rocks with good content is very hard... I was at a Painite hot spot.. overlap.. and I got 56 tons.. but it took hours and a lot of searching.. the scanner did not show me good rocks to mine.. I had to just randomly pick them. they have done something to the scanner where it does not show you the best rocks.. and at best you find a rock with 40% or so.. not great.
isnt their a problem with the hotspots in the game? i tried the mine with a friend the last 3 days. we joined a single hotspot (serentidib & painit) but 90% our trys we didnt found a single asteroid with serentidib or painit. though the last "big" patch should buff single hotspots.
Tim -Ferentar it fluctuates which is good or bad thing for some people. Timing is more of a thing then hey let's do another LTD at this fix usual time I login etc. That works for people who get off work at a certain time and expect the sell price to be same as usual which is why I can see the frustration to some people who mine all the time. This is why I use EDtools to determine is it a good time to mine this or not. If not, then I do something else and check later if I am still on. But not often you get a painite run that ended up being around 956k in the early morning before heading to work or late at night before I go to bed or decide to stay up an extra hour just to get a LTD run before it drops back down from 899k. Unpredictable but not schedule friendly and that's what you should expect from a real mining perspective. As long as edtools is still able to determine the price ASAP on every hour. I think that is the upside to it and knowing that there is plenty of other activities to do on ED besides mining.
ikr , frontier devs needs to tone down the nerf , its becoming even more and more tedious and almost feels like they dont want us to enjoy the game lmao
I hit a granditerite hotspot in my aspx and made 25mil in about half an hour and that's considered peanuts by dedicated miners.the point is mining is still stupidly profitable compared to any other activity in the game
I don't get where you got the numbers that Painite is worth "a lot less" than LTD. You can't sell LTD for more than around 800k, only if you would fly out to Colonia you might sell them for more than a million. But Painite and LTD are roughly worth the same nowadays with 700-800k per unit
Hey bud I had just spent all my money on a LTD build and HD just started to make money and then the update has killed me ones again I never seem to be able to get a good go at it dam them for keep changing it us noobs will never get a chance to catch up on the big boys
imo there arent enough valuable commodities to mine, its all just about VOs and painite rn, like who actually goes around mining benitoite and serendbite
I think I only broke 1 million when mining once. Packed it in pretty quick after that. Bad luck or just me being bad at it, mining just DOESN'T work for me 😂
Can we please put an end to all of the BEST MINING SYSTEM claims? Because there is no one BEST way to mine. Ask yourself these questions. Do you want to make good credits mining WITHOUT feeling like your stuck in some sort of click fest rut? Or do you only want to be able to brag about collecting more credits than you could possibly need while PRETENDING to cut the time short? How many hours, days, weeks, months or even years are you willing to GRIND in order to have the collection of tools (modules) needed plus the ship big enough to carry them all plus the cargo space to haul off that massive load? While an Asp-X, Python, or Anaconda all make excellent mining vessels. Not to mention the T-6, T-7, T-9 Heavy are adequate or better. Still, NONE of those ships are going to load enough modules and still have the cargo space needed to meet those 150 million to 200 million per hour claims. Not to mention all of THOSE ships are subject to interdiction and if you have them stripped down enough for serious mining you don't have much left for defense. Much less offense. Which means you need the Imperial Cutter. Which is arguably the single most expensive ship you can fly at a starting cost of just over 200 million. Properly outfitted and A-Rated (where it matters) and you can have nearly 900 million tied up in that one ship. And that's not counting engineering, guardian or power play modules. Figure out what you want to do and how you want to do it. But there is no one BEST way of doing much of anything in ED. The way that works best for you may not work at all for someone else. Being somewhat old, plus disabled, means I've got plenty of time and not much mobility. So I'm online more than most. I enjoy mining. But I also enjoy my assorted naps. So I cruise an asteroid ring for a bit, pop a few cores if I find them. Laser off whatever. Surface and Subsurface deposits as I find them. Then I nap for a bit and do it all again. I find it pretty easy for me to average about 150 million per day. While still having enough day left to farm some mats for engineering and or run some missions. Yes, I have a Cutter. As a matter of fact I have 2 of them. One is setup for mining, the other for hauling freight. Cmdr Mattkando at your service. I can be found usually playing in Solo or Private but I don't mind being in Public.
I hate mining so much, so much more fun to ignore it after I reset my save a few weeks ago. Then I hit the engineer requirement to mine 500 tonnes to get access to shields. 😱 Arrgghhhh
Doubles and Triples are nerfed to uselessness. The 20% Rule is Dead. Take anything over 5%. Singles, and the reduced take, is the best you can do. Cores still pay, but very slow, and seems to be fewer Core Roids. Prediction: Another mining nerf will come to address player complaints that Combat is not competitive in Credit take by comparison.
At this point were all just gonna have to pretend that combat or exploring is to lucrative as to trick the devs to re balance them like ive seen so many people ask.
@First Born Of Akatosh depends on your rank and ship, python with 50 ly engineered and boosted and elite exploration gives you missions that are worth more
I had a COMPLETELY different experience out in the black in the PHROEA BLI region. Tritium seems reasonably plentiful and I did find some LTDs. But I also tried finding minerals in hotspots of Painite, Benitoite, and Muskgravite. Shot prospector after prospector for roughly 15 minutes each and found ABSOLUTELY NOTHING of those minerals in their hotspots. PATHETIC.
I don't get the problem FD has with overlapping hotspots. A raise in yield in overlapping deposits isn't an unnatural phenomenon in the real world, quite frankly, it is unnatural to remove the effect in the game. If FD doesn't like people camping there to make money which btw is also natural, they should make hotspots and overlaps dynamic. Rings move, deposits get depleted, new ones pop up elsewhere. Dynamic hotspots and overlaps would erase FDs' problem and make the game more enjoyable.
Even when mining was "broken" I made game-breaking amounts of money in no time, rendering all other activities pointless for making money. Great game design (not).
I can feel the nerf hammer coming all the way from sagitarius A

You spent an hour staring at laser beams hitting a rock.... What a great way to pass the time bro.
@@brothermaleuspraetor9505 Yes. For me it is quality relaxation time.
Thanks!
Lol! INCOMING PAINITE NERF ! Hahaha... you know fdev will do it...
fdev is for grind.
Thanks for making this video - it’s one of the many reasons I’m subscribed, and why I consider you the top ED youtuber. Keep up the great work please.
how to select a ship for mining login>change to type-10> load up mining weapons/gear your gonna need>profit... :P
2 hours of LTD mining in Wolf 363 single LTD hot spot 4T per hour. Sucks bad.
Anyone else see less of a return after 30 - 40 min of mining? I find a lot the first 30 min vs the second 30 min. Which seems to drag on.
Can some one look into what the deal is with the Pulse Wave Analyzer after 1.50 patch?
yes i can confirm painite mining is still viable, filled my cutter in like an hour with 512 painites = 325 mil profit
No you didn’t
I'm wondering what Benitoite yields are like, price is better than LTD's if you can find somewhere to offload a large amount.
I tried Benitoite and a half dozen other 'desirable' minerals a few days ago. No joy what-so-ever.
well, is there tritium available? not for sales, just for like refuelling the many stranded fleet carriers out there.
This is elite: dangerous. a Vast, beautiful, sandbox but with limited options at the end of things, and no tools to build anything yourself :(
I just started the game a few weeks ago and mining last week. Just made 100 mill on a hour long VO run. I'd say mining is still good to go.
Question can I mine void opal with lasers and if anyone knows where is the best Hotspot currently?
No VO is core only
@@DowntoEarthAstronomy alright thank you and where would be the best place for void opals?
And VO hot spot since core mining is not effected my overlaps
@@DowntoEarthAstronomy alright thank you do you have any system for void opals?
I dunno man, I almost exclusively mined void opals and found only 2 cores after 2 hours. I know this comment is 2 months old, but I'm pretty damn sure void opals got nerfed hard as well.
anyone knows when the frontier diary for oddesey update is going to start?
Next patch fdev will find an issue with painite balance and destroy the price and demand
I do not care about mining, but i guess Frontier should buff the missions and make them worthwhile!
Nothing to spend those credits on anyway
yeah, i made 200m in 1 day, went from an eagle doing combat missions to adder void opal mining, then switched to keelback then got the python, now i have enough money to buy anaconda.

Ive been in 3 different painite hot spots, pristine reserves, and 4 hours of mining has yielded 0 tons of painite.
ditto - I used up 100+ prospectors in each of 3 different spots for zero painite.
I'm on xbox, does anyone know why I can't seem to find any painite? Im looking in hotspots but still, after 100 limpets and 2 hours, can't find any. I'm not even trying to mine out for money. I'm trying to find just 10 ton to unlock Selene Jean!
hyades sector db-x d1-112 has a double painite hotspot around the water world.
A pulse wave scanner on a utility mount is used to find the core asteroids.
@@KPSquared2 yeah, it's used to find the sub-surfaces ones too. I don't see a difference in them from a distance.
@@CarBENbased the only ones you should be going for have very thick noticeable black lines from medium range, and entire black spots at close range with pulse wave imaging. If you're unsure look for cyan spiderwebs, those fissures existing means its a core asteroid
i just did the unlock for engineering for mining found it b.very time consuming and could make more money in sothis mining to ceos in cargo hauling
I wish Fdev would stop messing around with thing's, why implement these methods and yields in the first place. Thanks for testing. o7
Holy s^%t.. D2EA can mine and fly backwards... Dude's a pro.
Mining is done for as far as making a lot of money.. it takes time to mine and finding rocks with good content is very hard... I was at a Painite hot spot.. overlap.. and I got 56 tons.. but it took hours and a lot of searching.. the scanner did not show me good rocks to mine.. I had to just randomly pick them. they have done something to the scanner where it does not show you the best rocks.. and at best you find a rock with 40% or so.. not great.
Surely after the last (pre fleet carrier) mining boom everyone has enough money. Is there something else we can do in this game?
Well some people were stupid enough to mine leisurely because good things last forever lol
Oh boy... Next nerf comming up... Thanks to the ED RUclipss
isnt their a problem with the hotspots in the game? i tried the mine with a friend the last 3 days. we joined a single hotspot (serentidib & painit) but 90% our trys we didnt found a single asteroid with serentidib or painit. though the last "big" patch should buff single hotspots.
Guess I'll give painite a try. Can't find a higher price than 683k for my LTD anyway. Tnx for the tip
We can set a countdown to when this content is rendered inaccurate by FDEV. Nerfy, nerf nerf.
It's all broke... Been in a Panite hotspot for an hour... Haven't seen even a 1% rock...
ikr , frontier devs needs to tone
down the nerf , its becoming even more and more tedious and almost feels like they dont want us to enjoy the game lmao
And will fdev nerf painite buy costs when it becomes the most profitable mining activity based on time invested?
Void opals ?
How to watch the Perseids, the best meteor shower of the year
. #AstronomyWorld
I hit a granditerite hotspot in my aspx and made 25mil in about half an hour and that's considered peanuts by dedicated miners.the point is mining is still stupidly profitable compared to any other activity in the game
I can make nearly twice that doing passenger runs (80 to 100 mil per hour)
I don't get where you got the numbers that Painite is worth "a lot less" than LTD. You can't sell LTD for more than around 800k, only if you would fly out to Colonia you might sell them for more than a million. But Painite and LTD are roughly worth the same nowadays with 700-800k per unit
only after the nerf yeah
Just made a large sale for $982,000,000.00... $272,000,000.00 of it disappeared, last time it was $72,000,000.00... Anyone else been seeing this..?
Just another great example of how FD likes to bend us players over and ...
Why not buff the other activities? Or add more gameplay loops rather than, father, sell, warp
Wasnt Painite giving about 200K an hour befor January?
yup.. you let them know.. the nerf hammer is coming
Hey bud I had just spent all my money on a LTD build and HD just started to make money and then the update has killed me ones again I never seem to be able to get a good go at it dam them for keep changing it us noobs will never get a chance to catch up on the big boys

I keep saying it but tritium should be a much more expensive commodity to make it more attractive for big game miners
imo there arent enough valuable commodities to mine, its all just about VOs and painite rn, like who actually goes around mining benitoite and serendbite
engineer materials are still the real game. getting credits is just cheap.

No worries! The almighty egg has ensured I will never have to mine for credits again. All hail the egg!! May she rest in peace!!
Fdev Player base nerf incoming!
This dude increases the size of his face with every video.
How the fuck are you flying backwards so well? My friends can't even fly forwards most of the time.
Sounds like painite needs a nerf next then?

Just spent 2 hours making ZERO credits. You're saying that's the whole point?
I had a COMPLETELY different experience out in the black in the PHROEA BLI region. Tritium seems reasonably plentiful and I did find some LTDs. But I also tried finding minerals in hotspots of Painite, Benitoite, and Muskgravite. Shot prospector after prospector for roughly 15 minutes each and found ABSOLUTELY NOTHING of those minerals in their hotspots. PATHETIC.
We'd better jump on Painite before FDev screw that up too!
Guess the next NERF??
PAINITE!
Dynamic hotspots and overlaps would erase FDs' problem and make the game more enjoyable.
best idea ive heard yet
Great idea, but that might not be defined as a nerf, so they probably wouldn't be interested.
Even when mining was "broken" I made game-breaking amounts of money in no time, rendering all other activities pointless for making money. Great game design (not).
This is a nerf. Plain and simple.
Ya you can still mine but you'll get a garbage price for anything haha. They need to fix this game
And now Fdevs are working on a nerf for Panite. Good job Dave
Too many Fleet Carrier in the game lol
Laser mining is so damn boring. Sucks SSD mining is no longer a thing.
