This really comes down to value. I don’t know how anyone can get by with only 64gb. That’s embarrassing for Apple.

here in the Philippines, the base 10th gen with 64gb costs around $420 (php to usd conversion.) Bumping it up to 256gb makes it a whopping $580. The Pad 6's base (6+128) is around $265, with the 8+256 being close to $340.
I got my girlfriend the pad 6's highest variant for around $289 during a flash sale with lots of vouchers which made it an absolute steal. It would have been great for a 10th gen to be around $300, but for some reason it's hella expensive outside of US especially in Asia regions.
Tell me about it 😭 i feel like they double the prices when it comes to us. I really wanna switch to a apple device but its just not worth it for the price 😗 ill just stick with androids

I bought the Xiaomi Pad 6 for less than $250 and it's been pretty good. I use it mainly for work stuff and a bit of gaming. I also bought the Xiaomi Smart Pen 2 which has been fantastic, it's magnetic and the battery somehow always stays at 100%.
Software definitely needs improving but it's not bad.
Hows the gaming?

The xiaomi pad 6 is better display wise, while the iPad 10 is better performance wise
What's the use of the all performance packed in that I pad when it can only produce 60fps

The performance isn't even that bad, you're comparing an old flagship chipset to a modern flagship chipset ofc it would lack in performance, but the thing is you don't need to have a powerful chipset unless you're a gamer that needs constant 60 fps in games. An average user that only uses the pad for social media, videos etc. won't notice the slower chipset

@@asianpopstr What a coincidence, I bought the pad 6 for the same reason, school and gaming! The pad 6 can run most games at max settings, and because its a tablet it rarely heats up and drops in performance unlike phones with the same chipset. I can play mobile legends at max settings with constant 110-120 fps and heavier games like Genshin Impact it can handle medium graphics with constant 45-60 fps.
Note-taking on the pad 6 is flawless aslong as you use the official stylus. A third party stylus also gets the job done, but of course the official one will always be better.

and the 8/256 variant can be found for as low as 360 dollars or 18,000 philippine peso
You can get it at a physical store for it's retail price of 440 dollars or 22,000 philippine peso if you want assurance like I did though it will cost you a whole lot more money

depends what kind of gaming but ipad 9 and tab s6 lite 2024 is usually around 250 or less

iPad 10 64g storage/60fps poor battery life/ slow charging time
XIAOMI Pad 6 128 storage/144fps excellent battery life / fast charging time.
But ipad has a better software experience than mi and ipad isnt slow charging when u use ipad charger btw i have ipad 10 😅
@@Twilight4912 Software experience in mipad 6 is also smooth, I don't see any problem there. but the 60fps and 64g storage and the poor battery life of iPad 10, that's hard to accept. by the way i hav ipad mini 6.

Display and affordability wise Xiaomi is better.
Performance and longevity wise iPad's chipset is extremely powerful and has longer software updates support compared to Xiaomi's. Apple Pencil is also better than Xiaomi's Pen.
If you don't mind spending more go with the iPad, it will be worth it

How did you solve the dreaded "3 dot problem" that updating to hyperOS causes on the pad 6? Only solution I've found is to turn off system optimisation but that apparently disables floating windows, split screen etc. thanks
For me, the "3 dots" thing is not A problem since i'm not gonna focus on it when watching the video or playing games because it's gonna be transparant

I'm putting together a short list of tablets for Black Friday time and until I saw about this issue the pad 6 was looking like a good contender for my needs. Which is basically just something with the best screen and enough grunt to run HiDef content on it without issue.
Bought my Dad a Lenovo m10 plus 3rd gen when it was still fairly new and we quickly discovered that when trying to put RUclips vids past 1080p the tablet couldn't handle it and it stuttered. Has only gotten worse with time as the usual tech slow down is happening.
