- Join me on a 4 hour and 55 Minute ride across the Pacific Ocean from Kailua - Kona / Hawaii Big Island to Los Angeles LAX on a United Boeing 757-300
We encountered some moderate turbulence for while in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, triggered by active jetstream and the outer band of Hurricane Olaf.
Excellent view of the Los Angeles city lights during approach and landing.
Flight / flying was perfect, but the inflight service in United Domestic Business Class is the worst I've experienced.

To this day. Amazing Video! Nothing beats sights like that. Especially the coming into California and seeing the lights!

Great Video with clear a view of the Los Angeles metro area. Once you make the turn foe LAX runway 25L you can the Disneyland Fireworks in the distance just above the left wing. Very cool!!!

Ugh.. I absolutely abhor turbulence. I encountered some serious turbulence shortly before landing on Kailua-Kona. The worst feeling is when the plane drops and the lights start to flicker! !
Ah, I see you pass over the eastern part of Long Beach, roll up the 605 freeway, then make the left turn just past the 105. Very pretty view, nicely captured.

I literally had the same seat as you! I flew Kona to LA back in July, and there was some turbulence on short final. I even felt the nose wheel bounce a few times.

757 and 767, two of the oldest, ugliest and most annoying airplanes to ride on. Noisy, old.. garbage seating. Absolutely nothing great about flying on them. The 757 is the worst of the two. The 777, much roomier and nice. Otherwise, the A330 and A340 are great planes. Modern, always quieter and smoother. Roomier. A380 for how big it is, had less leg room than the 777.. than again, Lufthansa likes to squish people like sardines.
Are u serious man?!?! the 757 is the Ferrari of Aviation, they fly really well and I bet u know nothing, they are fuel efficient, have short airfield performance, long range and they fly fast, just like a Sports car, so U need to STFU if u know nothing, The A380 are inefficient planes that only Emirates are stupid enough to be in love with it...
757 is safer. one of the safest planes around.
