As a fearful flyer there was always something about the 757 that felt smoother to me, for some reason the take offs just didn't bother me as much. Thanks for this report, I'm going to check out your experience in 1st class from a couple of years ago too.
I enjoy your videos and one of the things that separates you from the other vloggers is that you include the captain’s introduction - I always enjoy hearing from the flight deck so please keep up the good work!
Nice review! Soon I’ll be taking a flight from Mexico to Canada with that 757-300 in the economy class, I am expecting something line in your review in the next days!
Yes, I am also looking forward to the retrofits as well! For now on the 753, be prepared to have your own device, but next year it’ll be more likely it will have the IFE and new interior! Also keep in mind that UA may just randomly retrofit aircraft whenever they can instead of by aircraft order so a 753 retrofit could come sooner than expected but I don’t know yet. Also unlike the time you flew on the 753 in first class from ORD-IAH, this time it was great you got to be on one in the evo blue livery!
I was recently at FLL, and you definitely captured the vibe in that airport. Crowded and limited food options if you're not in a lounge. The 753 looked quite nice, and always wondered why Boeing didn't evolve that airframe with more fuel efficient engines (like the 737 max) to compete with Airbus...
Thank ypu for sharing you nice cool trip. You made me laugh being on the 757-300s. Those are from the Continental Airlines merger with my former. Everything I speak to a current coworker, they say they do not want to work on those aircraft. It is long than the 200s with more passengers. I do like the 200s because I have flown those on the transcontinental and Hawaii flights. If you have to seat in Economy the first middle Exits seats gave the extra leg room. The other space in Economy would be at Door 2L after that door is closed. The 757s are great aircraft to have!!
Omg I knew you were a Scorpio, I could just tell 🤪 Love the review as always. Ugh I just love the 757 and the -300 is such a treat to ride on. I have a flight on one later this year with DL. Looking forward to it!
The cabin looked good nonetheless..certainly not an original 'CO' cabin? No?. UAs streaming is great but I love good seatback screens. Nice review as always..thx!!
my dads actually a pilot for united he flys the 737 all variants except the 100s and 200s and the real old ones he also flys the 757 200 and 300 and the 767 200 so my dad was landing a 757 300 then a big bird flown onto the runway looked him straight in the eye then got ran over🤣🤣😅💀💀💀
I really love United and wish they’d serve more cities nonstop within the U.S. southeast. I think Delta is good, but they don’t have enough seats in their Comfort+ section. At 6’3”, I avoid flying Delta unless I purchase a seat in their first-class section, which also has too few seats. I feel that United is making a better business decision by putting more seats in their more comfortable seating categories. With demand like it is, I think Delta and American are losing business by overpacking their planes with cramped seats.
Definitely NOT an AVGEEK, but someone who did not complete his childhood with success. Fed up looking his postures. Will make sure all press-contacts of airlines share my opinion. Hope no one will use paypal anymore.
it will be interesting to see what’s feasible with the 757-300 retrofits. Delta did not put new bins and sidewalls to their 757-300s, so does that imply that the 757-300s cannot get bins and sidewalls changed out?
Rumor has it that exactly the first 4 retrofitted 764s (n76052, n76054, n68061, and n76062) will not have moodlighting while the rest of the retrofitted 767-400s will. Can you confirm or debunk this rumor?
Within United's Boeing narrowbody fleet, the ugliest cabins are the ones on the ex-ATA 757-300s and ex-Tombo 73Gs. I hope the ex-ATA 753s get NEXT before the ex-CO 753s. Same for the 73G fleet
I would bet a pretty penny those 757s 300s will never see the “Next” cabin. Kirby has too many new narrow bodies coming online to bother with these old birds. She will be retired probably in a few years to simplify feet types. I know there is not a direct replacement for this model but the need for fewer sub fleets and the efficiency gained by retiring them will win out
Maybe it's me, but I always found the United 757 a nightmare (when I could still fly before I was grounded due to a medical condition). I found the seats uncomfortable and the lack of any decent soft product unsettling (even with a meal upgrade-something United doesn't even offer anymore).
@@ITripReport So... my reservation to LAX from Pittsburgh got altered. The 78X flight from EWR-LAX got cancelled so we talked to people at ticketing and got re-routed through ORD. A320 PIT-ORD then (Coincidence) 757-300 ORD-LAX! still no screens. I am still a bit upset not being able to be on the 787-10.
@@DeltaFlyer339 I’m a bit disappointed for my daughter who flew from MCO to SFO on the 11th on a 737 max-9 and is flying back this evening on the 757-300😭 I have to break it to her she won’t have an IFR for that 5hr flight.
Sorry, no comprende 1K. 1,000, 10,000, 100,000, 1,000,000. You mention gold member. Is it the card you use? Brightline goes to MIA? I’m a United member with 100,000+ miles.
Flying this tomorrow from Houston to SFO. Glad I could catch it before it's gone!
Its So Many Years Since I Was Aboard B757 Whit Icelandair.Great Trip Report

I love watching these traveling reports! Keep up the great work!
I too find the 757's a treat. A few years ago I flew ORDMCO with some regularity and would go for the daily 757 frequency
I enjoy your videos and one of the things that separates you from the other vloggers is that you include the captain’s introduction - I always enjoy hearing from the flight deck so please keep up the good work!
Nice job keep up the good work I flew from YEG to IAH then took 757-300 to MCO love This plane especially how long it is 👍
Nice video! Sadly, I haven´t been able to fly on a 757-300 to see its mighty characteristics. Great work!
Flying on the 757-300 from ORD to MCO and back in August. Hopefully they don’t change planes because I can’t wait for it!

Too expensive to make.

Love the Rolls Royce RB211 powered 757
Some of these flights don't have TVs but however it can't hurt to bring your own entertainment I hope to fly on United Airlines someday
You should try out delta’s 757300!
Love you and your video. I bet the push back in seat was during takeoff. Rickey from Los Angeles
Beautiful!
Nice video! Perhaps you should try Icelandair’s 757s on a longer haul flight?

If you can fly the 737 max 900 on United they are really cool planes. I have flown them from So Florida up to Chicago and also the return way!!😊
Or fly another REAL airline instead of the united crap 😂
Unfortunately the 737-900 max is currently being grounded thanks to an Alaska emergency door being blown off at 10,000 Ft.

Like the U sticker!! I’m an alum of Miami too!!
That’s awesome! Class of 2024 here!
@@ITripReport it’s all about the U!!
Foamer shot! Brightline review coming soon?
I filmed one when they re-started service, but I might just wait till Orlando opens to make a proper review 😅

10:20 that look .. 😂😂
How can you track United's progress on retrofitting?

Can you do a JetBlue mint studio video one day?
Do you like the University of Miami? What are the pros and cons.
I love the '57. Time for a 757 MAX 2 and 3!!
When you mention you have 1k miles, do you have to mention this to the gate rep or does it automatically show with your reservation?
So 1K status (not miles 😅) is automatically shown on BPs.
Did this plane have Air Vents at the seats ?
All narrowbodies do
How tall are you?

No IFE 😲, I was considering taking a 753 Or 78X From EWR-LAX glad I picked 78X.
Yuuuuup, for that flight I’d immediately go for the 78X. Are you sure your flight wasn’t on a 757-200? Because all of those do have seatback screens
@@ITripReport I am pregnant
