This was fabulous. Brought back so many wonderful memories of my Persian friend's cooking times! Question, when you drained the rice after it was tender (approximately how many minutes?) you didn't rinse it in water, right?, and how long did you let it sit on the stove to make (tadik)?
So far till now this was the best ... cleanest and the most ever easy recipe i ever could have imagined. Thanks a lot for sharing with us. Your stove was as clean as Milk white :) and your pans shine like mirror..... It takes a lot for a women to keep up this cleanliness level. Very Happy. God bless and Keep Posting.
quick question, i don't know where to find the persian spice rather than using the said spice, can i possibly replace it with the ALL SPICE (Ground) by McCormick. Thank you.
My family makes it slightly different than this and it comes out deliciouussss. I dont think they use advieh, or maybe they do I just never seen it in a labeled bottle in my moms kitchen. But seriously if you go to a persian restaurant and have their food it is NOTHING like what my family makes or what they make in Iran. If you are a fan you HAVE to go dining in Iran.
you made it look simple, but oh my soo much oil and salt. i would add two onions, as it makes it more tasty, and place it under a grill, no need for all that fat as the meat itself doesn't need it.
No need to add turmeric and peper in Original Iranian Kebob at all my friend. Original Iranian´s Kebob made of Ground beef + Onoion + Salt . Thats all . and when u r fring it put some Somaq powder on top of both sides . and add Tomatos on top of them in the end , put the lid on it and wil be ready n 15 min . Enjoy

There's different kinds of Adviehs, try this one: 2 tbsp tumeric, 1 tsp ground saffron, 2 tbsp ground cinnamon 1/3 tsp white pepper. But don't put all of it in your beef, just a tsp, and keep the rest for your next recipe :)

I searched up the ingredients for the Persian Advieh spice, and it's very very similar to garam masala, so I guess just use that!
