I am Japanese and I have not had Persian dishes, but I tried your pan kabob recipe. I enjoyed using uncommon spices (especially sumac is rare in Japan). The kebob was delicious and easy to cook (regrettably, tomatoes on meat fell apart). Thank you for your cozy and useful video.
This looks so good and easy to make...I love the fresh herbs...I think I would just add them to the salad with a splash of Olive oil and fresh squeezed lemon or lime.
Your recipes are excellent, thank you. My husband is Persian and I love to cook Persian food for him and his family. I will have to try this soon! God bless you.
As always, it is a joy to watch you cook and share your warmth and knowledge, Yousef. And the food looks so delicious and comforting, I'm definitely making this soon! Thank you very much 🙏
Everyone deserves to have a Yousef in their life! He’s such a sweetheart! I also make something similar to this at home but make the meat in to balls though I’ve never added potatoes, so this is definitely my next recipe to take on!
i want to make this and some other persian dishes for a boy i like to show him my affection through cooking some of his national foods he grew up eating. i have never made any persian recipes so i am excited to try it out and i hope he enjoys it ^-^ thank you for the recipe
Hello Yousef, I’ve just made a dish basing on your wonderful recipe - it turned out outstanding! I’ve used the exact spices/ measurements as you’ve recommended. I had to make a few small alterations because of what I had in my kitchen. As my ground meat I’ve used lamb, and decided to add rice into the meat along with the onion. Because of the rice, I’ve used more liquids (tomato sauce and water) and cooked my meatballs for 35 minutes. 15 minutes before end of cooking added lots of chopped kale and parsley (just needed those greens cooked in the same pot) and wow, it exceeded my expectations! Thank you for sharing with us your wonderful recipes! 😊
I made this today - and it was absolutely divine. I did balance out the tomato sauce with a little sugar, as it was overly tart for my taste, and I added a teaspoon of Advieh to the meat - but that's it. This meal is going on permanent rotation in my kitchen. ♥ Thank you Yousef for this wonderful dish.
Yousef, your channel is so special, absolutely love your content and how you talk us through the cooking, thank you so much for sharing recipes. I cannot wait to try cooking one of these recipes and let you know how it goes :), thank you again!
I made this recipe I added in whole mushrooms it turned very delicious, the meat for the recipe 80-20 fat ratio is better than 90-10 it makes it tender and soft and more flavorful I think. Thank you for this easy and delicious recipe.
I like your way of cooking very simple and good. have tried to make your sosis bandari. continue with your awesome work and feel free to show how to cook fesenjon. thanks
I NEVER made it or see someone put sliced up Potato's on it, usually as u said like me i use & most people put some slice of bell peppers or chili peppers on top ,even some people mixed the meat also with chopped up some cilantro & RED bell peppers too, thats to much & definitely is NOT Persian Kabob recipe , looks good gonna try it next time with Potato's😘
Hi Yousef, can you make a video for Persian salad dressing. (I believe it’s mayonnaise based. I’ve had it at a restaurant and want to see how to make it)
