Hey Guys! Welcome back to my channel! Today we are talking about wallet organization. Even though you use your wallet on a daily basis you probably don't even consider how it is organized. How you organize your wallet can really affect how much you spend & how you are able to save money. Today I'm sharing some of my favorite wallet organization tips. Do you have any wallet organization tips? I would love to hear them!
I didn’t think of combining it all in one organized wallet ( I have my wallet, my envelope system, etc.) So simple, this will be a great help to me. This is why I enjoy your videos so much, easy simple ideas that get me organized, keep me organized and make life better. Thank you for posting every one you do I learn something from each of them.
Thank you so much. I’ve been putting off a budget and financial expense tracking because I wasn’t even sure where to start. I did get myself a “planner Wallet “ but still wasn’t sure where to begin. I can’t wait to get started with this!
I find this video so interesting because it so different with how things are done in Australia. Next to no one uses cash, receipts can be sent digitally and most government cards and reward cards are able to be kept digitally rather than carrying around bits of unrecyclable paper.
One of the issues I’ve found with digital rewards cards is that most of them require that you create an online account. It’s too much hassle to create an online account for every retailer, and it’s even worse when they want us to use their apps so they can data mine our phones.
I almost left during part in your video where your cash is facing the wrong direction...but then I stayed when you flipped it correctly....😄 kidding! My wallet configuration is similar now except for the planner. I definitely had to minimize the bulk. Great video. Great tips.
i love the way you organize your wallet!!! my boyfriend got me a dooney and burke wallet last year for valentine's day that i'm absolutely in love with, but i want a wallet like this to track my expenses on the go! i'm so bad about making purchases then sitting down to do my expense tracker and forgetting what i spent.
this was great info! I have a checkbook-style wallet. I have a vertical slot that holds 6 cards and a horizontal slot that holds 6, including the one window lot for my DL. I keep our insurance cards and an extra car insurance verification behind the horizontal slot. Many people don't think to keep an insurance verification there, or even in the wallet, btu I once had to replace my keys at the dealership. In order to verify it was my car(and get keys) my insurance verification has my VIN number on it making that as painless as possible. I also feel like if something happened to my car, I have something in my wallet with my car info on it (in case it is stolen or something). I hardly ever carry cash, I keep any spending money in a separate account and I move money into it before i go shopping. I only put what I think I will need (or what I can afford to spend) and that keeps me on track. I keep my shopping list and any coupons in the cash slot on the back or my wallet. Again, great tips!!!
I found a Happy Planner Mini purse at Hobby Lobby with the same set up inside. Yours looks nicer. There was also a Happy Planner mini budget planner, but I didn’t care too much for the layout. Hobby Lobby near me has a sale for 40%. I may go back tomorrow bc I really like your wallet.
I have a Henry Bender wallet that has a space for my cell. I love it so I, but nothing is arranged how I use thing. For some reason it never crossed my mind to switch it around lol. Thanks for this video. I rearranged thing and it will be much for useful for me. I will also start putting my receipts with my cash and them check them weekly. They typically end up at the bottom of my purse 🙊.
I havent used a regular wallet in years. I dont have credit cards so i dont have to keep them handy. And i just dont like having stuff in pockets bc... the taking out and putting back is annoying to me when i am trying to be quick, kwim? Anyway, i have been using a Vera Bradley zippered pouch. I just drop all my cash and the change into it, and keep my debit card and license in there. But... now i want to use cash envelopes and stop swiping my card. I just bought a leather zippered pouch that has a detachable strap to use as a crossbody bag. Oh it is so pretty and it fits my envelopes inside perfectly. Such a find for $12.99 at Marshalls!
Wow that's... a lot of cards. I have like, 2, a savings eftpos card that I only use for necessary spends (eg car rego) and a visa credit card for my budgeted fun spending
Thank you for sharing your videos. Can you tell me please... would the happy planner fit my filofax saffiano wallet. I live in Australia and it is really hard to buy anything here. Thanks again x
The Wellesley takes personal sized inserts. I would think the mini Happy Planner should fit your wallet if it’s personal sized, but sometimes it’s hard to know. Have you asked any online planner groups?
Respectfully disagree with keeping all your cards in one place. If it is lost or stolen you have a much bigger issue than if you only keep the one you use the most.
I am not sure why you would haul the extra weight of the mini planner everywhere. I just have an index card for each category in my purse. I log it every night and move the receipts to a monthly envelope stored in my big planner.
@@TheOrganizedMoney when you have kids, the struggle is real not to lose stuff. Love all your videos. You and the Budget Mom are my favorite RUclipsrs.💕
I am so sad that everyone who has this jacked the price up to $150 or more :( I would love this but that price tag is NOT in my budget. I wouldn't spend so much on an item. I wish people weren't greedy.
@@TheOrganizedMoney yes! It's aweful lol so many people are selling it saying "I don't use this" then they are asking so much knowing they didn't pay that much. Very greedy. I joined a FB group that is. B/s/t for them and cheapest I've seen is $100 so far and that's for used and worn ones.
WTF !? Who uses a day planner book in this modern day. Everyone and their dog has a smartphone for two decades and there are so many good day planner software for your phone. Throw that book away. You cant even stash it in your front pocket.
It may be that you prefer digital, but some of us still use paper. There are also people who cannot use digital, either because of vision issues or neurological issues.

We can do this in the USA as well. It's all about preference.
We have a popular financial guru here that hates credit cards and suggests to curb spending that you use 100% cash.

I love your organization systems! You have inspired me and I’ve incorporated some of them into my own routine 😍

I've been looking into wallets that can hold a skinny mini so I can track

Those include business cards.

Hi, have you ever gotten and used the Qapital card?
Respectfully disagree with keeping all your cards in one place. If it is lost or stolen you have a much bigger issue than if you only keep the one you use the most.
All my cards aren’t here. Just my frequently used cards. I’m the cfo of a business, so I have multiple cards for other businesses.
💜💜💜💜💜
Where are the inserts from?
you're like the most organized human ever. love all you do! =]
I wish!! Lol... but thank you!! 🤗

I’d rather a notebook or planner than an index card..... I’m sure I would lose it or drop it.....😊
